How to charge the HybridLight™ Solar Flashlight using a Micro USB cable: 1. Be certain the Flashlight is in the “off” position. 2. Remove the bottom cap counter-clockwise. 3. Plug the Micro USB cable into the power in charging port. Plug the other end of the cable into an A/C or D/C power source. 4. The indicator light on the Flashlight will be RED while charging. 5. The indicator light on the Flashlight will be GREEN when fully charged. How to charge a cell phone using a charging cable: 1. Remove the bottom cap counter-clockwise. 2. Plug the cable into the Standard USB power out charging outlet located on the bottom of Flashlight. 3. Plug the other end of the cable into cell phone. 4. Replace bottom cap when not charging device. How to solar charge the HybridLight™ Solar Flashlight 1. Be certain the Flashlight is in the “off” position. 2. Place Flashlight under natural sunlight with the solar panel facing the sunlight. Ambient light source will also charge flashlight. The brighter the light source the faster Flashlight will recharge. 3. The RED charging indicator light will illuminate if the light source is bright enough to recharge the solar panel. If the charging indicator light is not illuminated, place Flashlight in a location with a brighter light source. Troubleshooting Flashlight does not charge the cell phone: The Flashlight power is too low to charge the cell phone. Rapid charge the flashlight using a Micro USB cable. The Flashlight should stay plugged in until indicator light turns GREEN. The Flashlight is now ready to charge a cell phone. Flashlight does not turn on even though it has been charged: You may have charged the Flashlight in the “on” position. The Flashlight must be charged in the “off” position. Flashlight is dimming: A dim light indicates you need to recharge the Flashlight. The RED indicator light will also flash when it needs to be recharged.
