How to Transfer Audio Recordings (.wav format) to my Windows or Mac Computer Using a Windows Operating System 1. Connect the Sansa Clip+ MP3 Player & Voice Recorder to your computer with a USB cable. 2. Open My Computer a. This device will appear as an external or removable or portable drive. 3. Select the device, and navigate to the Internal Memory then Record then Voice folder. a. After opening the Voice folder, you will see all the audio (in .wav format) files stored on the device. 4. At this point you can select, copy, move, or edit each recording as desired. 5. Once finished, simply disconnect the USB cable from the player after you have finished charging, transferring, or adding files. a. WARNING: Do not disconnect the player while it’s transferring data. Disconnecting the player from the computer while data are being transferred may damage the player. Using a Macintosh Operating System 1. Connect the Sansa Clip+ MP3 Player & Voice Recorder to your computer with a USB cable. a. This device will appear as an external drive in the Finder. 2. Select the device, and navigate to the Record then Voice folder. a. After opening the Voice folder, you will see all the audio (in .wav format) files stored on the device. 3. At this point you can select, copy, move, or edit each recording as desired. 4. Once finished, eject the removable disk by dragging the icon to the Trash and then disconnect the USB cable. a. WARNING: Do not disconnect the player while it’s transferring data. Disconnecting the player from the computer while data are being transferred may damage the player.
