Usage information We recommend to start the app under a good network coverage area, or at home in wifi mode, and not to quit the app during usage. When the app is running, you can turn your smartphone in stand by mode and the positionning keeps going. When you wake up your smartphone, you will be located where you are. Smartski app doesn't prevent you from receiving phone calls. Phone calls are first priority. If you are standing in an area poorly covered with 3G/4G, phone calls may disturb temporarily the Smartski app data transmission. Normal usage comes back when call ends. When the tracker is still during 3 min, it becomes unactive in term of data transmission, keeping the last position on the map (even though turning off/on the smartphone). When visualizing the app, the tracker will send data every 10 seconds. The battery autonomy of the tracker is 10hrs. When the smartphone is in stand by mode, the tracker sends data every minute and the autonomy of the tracker is 18hrs. Considering the time to visualize the smartphone screen as variable, the average autonomy of the tracker is about one day. When clicking on the skier, you can see the remaining battery autonomy. Recommendation about battery life time : It is advised to run a complete load/unload cycle at the first use. We recommend to load the tracker as soon as the red light is blinking. Storage of the battery between running seasons : we recommend to store the tracker in a dry and cool place and to keep it loaded to avoid any storage in unloaded mode which could prevent to battery to load again.
