Image Effects The effects you can add to a captured image include borders, watermarks and different types of edge effects all of which you can refine to your exact needs. The more you experiment the more you will find you can do! Here are a few examples:

Editing with Snagit Once you have captured and image you can take it in to the Snagit Studio and edit it. (A shortcut to Snagit Studio will have been added to your Desktop during installation) There are a host of features to use, but one of the most useful is the ability to pixelate part of the image. This can be used to mask information that you don’t want to display. For example, in the first screen shot below you might want to hide the person named in the subject of the email: To do this, launch the Snagit Studio and paste in the captured image. Next, point at the image, right click and select the option to Flatten All. Select the Draw menu and use the Selection tool to draw a rectangle around the name you want to mask from view. Select the Image menu and use the Blur menu to blur the contents of the selection rectangle by choosing the percentage blur required. This technique has multiple uses and can be used on large and small areas of an image. For further assistance with using Snagit Editor please refer to the product tutorials and Help menu found in the View menu.
