HP Invisible Long-wave Blue UV-fluorescent Printing Supplies, working alongside existing HP dye inks in the HP Scanning Imager 1100, can enhance your printing capabilities, offering an additional security feature on passports, visas, ID cards, and other government-issued documents.
Increase your offering and win new business Compete for government RFQs that require invisible ink. Now you can offer enhanced security features on printed documents with invisible UV fluorescent ink (blue)—in addition to traditional process color (CMY)—on a range of government issued and other documents. Content printed with the UV fluorescent ink is viewable under a 365 nanometer (long-wave) UV lamp.
Meet stringent ICAO requirements for durability Prints produced with HP invisible long-wave blue UV-fluorescent dye ink resist fading and color change, and the ink keeps its invisibility in ambient office lighting. You can print confidently, knowing you’re meeting key ICAO standards1. Third-party testing shows fade resistance results that meet ICAO passport durability guidelines (with and without laminate). Prints resist fading and are light stable to at least Blue Wool 3.

The ink has been rigorously tested with the system to provide reliable operation and quality results.
