In the unlikely event that an HP printing supply proves defective, the HP warranty protects your purchase. COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE Only Original HP print cartridges are warranted for use in HP printers. Remanufactured and refilled brands are cleaned, refilled with a generic alternative toner and, in some cases, have parts added.
PACKAGING DESIGNED TO DELIVER RELIABILITY To continually deliver quality and reliability, we apply an anti-counterfeit seal to our HP LaserJet boxes so you know you are purchasing only Original HP LaserJet supplies.
HP Limited Warranty Program HP LaserJet supplies limited warranty HP LaserJet print cartridges and supplies are backed by HP’s Premium Protection Warranty. • HP LaserJet cartridges and HP Color LaserJet drum kits are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. • HP LaserJet fuser and transfer kits are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship until the printer provides a low-life indicator on the control panel. • HP Color LaserJet and 5/5M printer bottles are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 90 days from date of purchase. In the event any of these HP LaserJet products prove defective, the customer should complete the service information form in the product box (or provide name, address, phone number, place of purchase and a brief description of problem) and attach a print sample illustrating the defect. The form and cartridge should be returned to the place of purchase, where a replacement will be given. Customers can also contact HP Customer Support at 1-800-HPINVENT. This warranty does not apply to print cartridges that (a) have been refilled, refurbished, remanufactured or tampered with in any way, (b) experience problems resulting from misuse, improper storage or operation outside of the published environmental specifications for the printer product or (c) exhibit wear from ordinary use. HP LaserJet anti-counterfeiting package design Our HP LaserJet anti-counterfeit seal includes a blue HP logo where the color shifts from light to dark as the seal is tilted from side to side. It also includes some of the most advanced anti-counterfeiting technology, which is used to protect many currencies around the world, including the U.S. dollar. This is provided to let you know you are purchasing Original HP LaserJet print cartridges.
HP inkjet print cartridges limited warranty HP inkjet print cartridges are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during the period of the warranty. This warranty pertains to the product when used in its designated HP or authorized OEM printing device. Refer to the printing device manual for the proper product selection. The product is covered under warranty as long as all of the following are true: • The HP ink is not depleted. • The product has not been refilled, remanufactured, refurbished, misused or tampered with. • The “end of warranty” date has not been reached. HP will, at HP’s option, either replace products that prove to be defective or refund the purchase price. If a problem with an HP inkjet product occurs, contact the retailer where the product was purchased or call the regional customer support phone number listed on the product insert.
