HRTL-One DVR Quick Start Guide Step 3: Install hard drive
Step 1: Unpack everything
5. Ensure hard drive is configured as Master. Refer to the documentation that came with the hard drive for the jumper settings.
Your HRTL-One comes with the following items: • One single channel HRTL-One Digital Video Recorder • One hard drive cartridge (hard drive not included) and a key for the cartridge (located inside drive carrier) • One power converter and power cord • One rack mounting kit • HRTL-One Digital Video Recorder User Guide • External I/O connector • 80 GB Hard Drive (included with HRTL-One-80 DVR, not included with HRTL-One DVR)
6. Insert cables on hard drive. New HD Carrier

Step 2: Remove the hard drive cartridge 7. Secure the hard drive into the hard drive cartridge using the four #6-32 screws supplied.

1. Pull handle towards you.
Key
8. Replace top cover and insert the carrier body into the HRTL-One cartridge frame.

2. Insert key and turn to B position.

9. Turn the key lock to the A position before powering on. This will ensure that the hard drive functions normally.

Step 4: Connect equipment

The hard drive is activated. The hard drive is full. When alarm enable is set to Yes and an alarm is triggered, the LED flashes red. When timer enable is Yes. The HRTL-One is in play mode. The HRTL-One is in record mode.

1. Press PLAY to display the last recorded video clip. 2. Press SLOW for slow play back, REW to play video in reverse at high speed, or FF to play video forward at high speed.

Enter the Main menu setup, enter the password (default: 0000).

Accept changes that you make in menu setup.
SEARCH
Search for previously recorded video.
SLOW
Slow down the speed of Play mode. (X1/2, X1/4, X1/8, X1/16, X1/32)
STOP
Stop recording or playing.
REC
Start recording in manual recording mode. Manual recording overrides timed recording configured in the menu setup.
POWER
Power up the HRTL-One. Press again to power off the HRTL-One.
REW (Left)
Play video backward at high speed. Continue pressing to adjust the speed (1X, 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X).
FF (Right)
Play video forward at high speed. Continue pressing to adjust the speed (1X, 2X, 4X, 8X, 16X, 32X).
PAUSE
Pause the video at the currently displayed image.
PLAY
Play recorded video.
Full List
Complete list of recorded video, sorted by time.
Alarm List
Recorded alarms, sorted by time.
Time Search Enter time parameters to search for video.
3. Press Enter to play the desired video.
