Huawei OceanStor VIS6600T virtual intelligent storage system is an industry-leading virtual storage product. As a secure and open storage system with high reliability and performance, the VIS6600T provides unified management, data migration, and multi-level data protection for heterogeneous environments.
OceanStor CSE provides a rich set of value-added storage services including online storage and backup, and offers comprehensive operation management functionality.
Huawei OceanStor UDS adopt highly available P2P distributed storage engine, and ARM based high density hardware, to provide a unlimited scalability and extreme low TCO massive storage solution. UDS can be used to support a wide variety of use cases, such as Public Cloud Service, Centralized Backup and Active Archiving.
OceanStor CSE empowers service carriers to provide online storage and backup services and storage space leasing services to personal users and enterprise users of different enterprise sizes. Also, it supports the cooperation of S3-class interfaces with external service systems and management systems to provide user- and application-oriented storage services.
OceanStor HDP3500E is a backup product consisting of a backup server, backup media, and backup software. It integrates NetBackup, the Symantec enterprise backup software to deliver safe and reliable data protection for important enterprise appliacations.

Intelligence on Demand Intelligent Elastic Architecture Huawei employs distributed elastic architecture for its storage products, including the HVS series (high-end distributed SAN product for critical enterprise applications), N9000 (distributed NAS product for big data scenarios), and UDS (distributed object storage for massive cloud storage scenarios). Because of this architecture, HUAWEI storage systems support intelligent capacity expansion together with linear performance improvement. In addition, this architecture enables HUAWEI storage systems to grow together with applications systems, reducing initial deployment cost of HUAWEI storage systems.
Intelligent Data Distribution Huawei uses two-layer virtualization for bottom-layer data distribution in many of its storage systems such as the T series, HVS series, N9000, and UDS. Instead of traditional physical disk-based RAID groups, such storage systems use logical disks with finer granularity to form data protection and resource allocation units, achieving better support for QoS in host virtualization environments and faster data reconstruction. The two-layer virtualization technology reduces the dependence of data storage on physical disk groups, and smashes the limitation on the number of member disks of a disk group. This technology helps customers mitigate potential service risks in the future and improve storage efficiency.
Intelligent Management and Scheduling With resident management and scheduling modules, HUAWEI storage systems feature acute system awareness, simplified management of storage systems on web pages or from mobile terminals anytime and anywhere, and improved management efficiency.
Convergence for Future Protocol Convergence Most HUAWEI storage systems support various interface protocols including Fibre Channel, SAS, Internet Protocols, and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). Therefore the storage systems can serve various upper-layer applications. This makes planning of deployment easier and less risky.
Product Technology Convergence Huawei applies the multi-controller technology of high-end storage systems to mid-range and low-end storage systems. As a result, mid-range and lowend storage systems can provide value-added features that were delivered by high-end storage systems only, and can smoothly scale out from dual controllers to more controllers. This helps customers maximize their ROI. In addition, high-end, mid-range, and low-end HUAWEI storage systems can be managed on the same management interface, improving management efficiency.
Lifecycle Management Convergence HUAWEI storage systems integrate functional units such as data storage, analyzing, and archiving units to achieve data lifecycle management within one storage system. The storage systems support scheduled data migration between the units. This greatly reduces the management pressure in big data scenarios, facilitates decision-making, improves efficiency, and promotes data values.
Wider Convergence Multiple HUAWEI storage systems can be integrated together to form customized E2E solutions. In addition, HUAWEI storage systems can be interconnected to HUAWEI computing, network, and security devices to form highly integrated systems that are easy to manage and use.
