Procedure STEP 1 Read and understand all steps in the instructions before starting the installation. Park the motorcycle on a hard, level surface; turn off the ignition and allow the engine to cool. NOTE Not all parts may be used depending on application Transformer floorBoards STEP 1 As shown in PIC 1, remove the cotter pin located at the rear of the board. STEP 2 Push the long pin out of the board to seperate the board from the mount. STEP 3 As shown in PIC 2, locate the 4 screws holding the rubber in the base of the floorboard. Remove the screws and rubber pads from the base of the floorboard - note where the screws were removed. This hardware will be re-used. STEP 4 As shown in PIC 3, locate the screw holding the peg rubber in the adjustable arm. Remove PIC. 1 the screw and the peg rubber from the adjustable arm. This hardware will be re-used. STEP 5 As shown in PIC 4, remove the rubber from the adjustable arm by prying the pad away with a screwdriver. NOTE These pads are glued in place. Be sure that all the rubber and glue are removed before installing the new rubbers. STEP 6 As shown in PIC 5, fit the new base rubber in to the base of the floorboard. Replace the hardware removed in Step 3. Tighten the fastener. STEP 7 As shown in PIC 6, fit the new peg rubber in place. Replace the hardware removed in Step PIC. 2 4. Tighten the fastener. ATTENTION! It is the installer’s responsibility to ensure that all of the fasteners (including preassembled) are tightened before operation of the motorcycle. Küryakyn will not warranty components lost due to improper installation. Periodic maintenance may be required. STEP 8 As shown in PIC 7, fit the new rubber for the adjustable arm in place. Before installing, make sure that the mounting area on the arm is clean and free of any old glue residue. Also, make sure that the holes are clear of any rubber or glue residue. ATTENTION! Ensure the area of installation is free of grease, oil, dirt or other debris to ensure proper adhesion. Küryakyn WILL NOT issue a warranty on any parts lost due to improper installation. PIC. 3 STEP 9 Apply the supplied adhesive to the mounting area on the adjustable arm. Apply glue in the holes and on the flat surfaces where the rubber pad makes contact. Quickly apply the new rubber pad in place and hold for one minute while the glue dries. STEP 10 Assemble the floorboard and mount in the reverse order that it was disassembled. H-D Mount Transformer 2 Floorboard STEP 11 Follow Steps 1-10 above. PIC. 4 STEP 12 To replace the mount rubber pad, push the pad out from the bottom of the mount. STEP 13 As shown in PIC 8, test fit the new rubber pad in place. The pad is secured when the floorboard is mounted to the bike. Splined Mount Transformer 2 Floorboard STEP 14 Follow Steps 1-9 above. STEP 15 To remove the stock rubber pad, pull up on the pad while pushing the rubber darts (PIC 9) through the mount. PIC. 5 PIC. 6 STEP 16 Place the new pad in place and pull the darts through the mount with pliers. STEP 17 Assemble the floorboard and mount in the reverse order that it was disassembled. ATTENTION!
