Oltre ai normali CD audio, questo apparecchio può riprodurre CD-R e CD-RW contenenti brani audio; tuttavia, in base alle caratteristiche del dispositivo di masterizzazione, del programma di masterizzazione o del CD-R o CD-RW stesso, alcuni di questi CD potrebbero non essere riprodotti. 2. Quando si masterizzano CD musicali con dischi CD-R o CD-RW, una velocità di masterizzazione troppo elevata potrebbe compromettere la qualità del segnale; si consiglia quindi di selezionare una velocità massima di 24x per i CD-R e di 4x per i CD-RW. TELECOMANDO A INFRAROSSI Sostituzione della batteria 1. Prima di usare il telecomando per la prima volta, sfilare la linguetta di materiale isolante tirandola nella direzione indicata dalla freccia in fig. 1. 2. Premere il fermo nella direzione indicata dalla freccia A (v. fig. 2) ed estrarre il supporto della batteria nella direzione indicata dalla freccia B (v. fig. 2). 3. Sostituire la batteria scarica con una nuova; il lato con polarità positiva, contrassegnato dall’indicazione “+” deve essere rivolto verso l'alto (v. fig. 3). Lato rivolto verso l’alto Note sulla batteria: 1. L'uso improprio della batteria può provocare surriscaldamenti ed esplosioni, che possono a loro volta causare ferite e princìpi di incendio. 2. Le fuoriuscite di liquido corrosivo dalle batterie possono danneggiare il telecomando. In condizioni d'uso e a temperature normali, la durata della batteria è di circa 6 mesi. 3. Non cortocircuitare la batteria. 4. Non gettare la batteria nel fuoco. 5. Per evitare incidenti, tenere la batteria fuori dalla portata dei bambini. -1- PRECAUZIONI NELL’USO DEI CD Prima di riprodurre un CD, pulirlo detergendolo in senso radiale (nella direzione indicata dalle frecce) con un panno morbido e asciutto. Non utilizzare in alcun caso solventi quali benzene, diluenti o altri prodotti per la pulizia, in quanto potrebbero danneggiare la superficie del disco. Inserire il CD con l'etichetta rivolta verso l'alto. In caso contrario, il sintoriproduttore si può danneggiare. Non tentare di inserire un secondo CD quando all’interno dell’apparecchio ne è già stato inserito uno. Afferrare il CD sul bordo, come illustrato nella figura, in modo da non lasciare impronte sulla superficie iridescente. Non applicare etichette adesive al CD. Non esporre i CD alla luce solare diretta o a fonti di calore, quali bocchette dell’impianto di riscaldamento che emanano aria calda. Non lasciare i CD all’interno di un veicolo parcheggiato al sole, poiché le alte temperature possono provocarne la deformazione permanente. -2- DESCRIZIONE DELL’APPARECCHIO 1. Pulsante SEL (selezione) e manopola VOL (volume) (1) Premere brevemente e ripetutamente il pulsante SEL per selezionare ciclicamente i seguenti parametri: --> VOL (regolazione del volume) --> BAS (regolazione dei toni bassi) --> TRB (regolazione dei toni alti) --> BAL (regolazione bilanciamento volume tra i canali di destra e quelli di sinistra) --> FAD (regolazione bilanciamento volume tra i canali anteriori e quelli posteriori) -->. 1) Regolazione del volume A. Per regolare il volume è sufficiente ruotare la manopola VOL, poiché questa è la funzione preimpostata. B. Per regolare il volume si può inoltre premere il pulsante SEL in modo da visualizzare nel display l’indicazione VOL, e quindi ruotare la manopola VOL. 2) Regolazione dei toni bassi A. Premere il pulsante SEL in modo da visualizzare nel display l’indicazione BAS. B. Ruotare la manopola VOL. 3) Regolazione dei toni alti A. Premere il pulsante SEL in modo da visualizzare nel display l’indicazione TRB. B. Ruotare la manopola VOL. 4) Regolazione del bilanciamento tra i canali di destra e quelli di sinistra A. Premere il pulsante SEL in modo da visualizzare nel display l’indicazione BAL. B. Ruotare la manopola VOL in modo da aumentare o ridurre il livello del volume dei canali di sinistra o di quelli di destra. -3- 5) Regolazione del bilanciamento tra i canali anteriori e quelli posteriori A. Premere il pulsante SEL in modo da visualizzare nel display l’indicazione FAD. B. Ruotare la manopola VOL in modo da aumentare o ridurre il livello del volume dei canali anteriori o di quelli posteriori. (2) Premere per circa 2 secondi il pulsante SEL, in modo che nel display LCD venga visualizzata l’indicazione “TA SEEK /TA ALARM”. Premere quindi brevemente e ripetutamente il pulsante SEL per selezionare ciclicamente PI SOUND/PI MUTE, RETUNE L/RETUNE S, MASK DPI/MASK ALL, BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF, SEEK1/SEEK2 (solo in modalità RADIO), DSP OFF/FLAT/POP M/CLASSICS/ROCK, LOUD OFF/LOUD ON, SUBW OFF/ON (disponibile solo su alcune versioni dotate di uscita per subwoofer), STEREO/MONO (in modalità RADIO), DX/LOC (in modalità RADIO), VOL LAST/ VOL ADJ (in modalità VOL ADJ, la modalità successiva è A-VOL, dove è possibile regolare il volume. Il valore minimo impostabile per il volume è 10) ed ESP10/ESP40. Una volta selezionata la modalità desiderata, ruotare la manopola VOL per impostare la regolazione o scegliere l’opzione. 1) Selezione TA SEEK/TA ALARM Modalità TA SEEK: quando la stazione appena sintonizzata non riceve informazioni TP per 5 secondi, la radio passa all’emittente successiva non avente lo stesso identificativo PI, ma che prevede aggiornamenti TP per le informazioni sul traffico. Se questa emittente sintonizzata non riceve aggiornamenti entro il tempo di risintonizzazione impostato con RETUNE SHORT (60 secondi) o RETUNE LONG (90 secondi), inizia nuovamente la ricerca di un’emittente con lo stesso PI. Qualora la sintonizzazione non dovesse avere successo entro un ciclo completo di sintonia, la radio si sintonizza con l’emittente successiva con programmi TP per le informazioni sul traffico. Modalità TA ALARM: quando si attiva questa modalità, la risintonizzazione automatica viene disattivata. In questo caso, quando la nuova stazione sintonizzata non riporta informazioni TP per 5 secondi, vengono solo emessi due segnali acustici. Quando le informazioni TP sulle condizioni del traffico non vengono rilevate al momento della risintonizzazione, vengono emessi due segnali acustici. Se la stazione appena sintonizzata non trasmette segnali RDS, la funzione PI SEEK viene disattivata. 2) Selezione PI SOUND/ PI MUTE: Modalità PI SOUND: quando si viaggia in un'area con ricezione critica, la stessa frequenza alternativa AF può ricevere codici PI diversi. In questo caso, il segnale PI viene udito brevemente, per meno di un secondo. Modalità PI MUTE: nelle stesse condizioni di cui sopra, il breve segnale viene silenziato. 3) Selezione RETUNE L / RETUNE S: Viene selezionato il tempo iniziale di ricerca automatica TA o PI. Se l'informazione PI non viene agganciata nel tempo di risintonizzazione, la radio inizia nuovamente la ricerca della stessa sezione PI. Se la stessa stazione PI non viene agganciata entro un ciclo di sintonia, la radio ritorna all'ultima emittente sintonizzata e rimane in attesa per 4-5 minuti, fino a quando non riceve il codice PI. Modalità RETUNE L: il tempo di sintonia viene impostato su 90 secondi. Modalità RETUNE S: il tempo di sintonia viene impostato su 60 secondi. 4) Selezione MASK DPI/MASK ALL: Modalità MASK DPI: oscura solo le stazioni AF aventi PI diverso. Modalità MASK ALL: oscura le stazioni AF aventi un PI diverso o senza dati RDS, ma con segnale molto potente. -4- 5) Selezione BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF: Modalità BEEP 2ND: il segnale acustico viene emesso solo quando si preme a lungo (1 secondo) un pulsante che abbia una doppia funzione. Modalità BEEP ALL: il segnale acustico viene emesso premendo qualsiasi pulsante (tranne quelli di accensione/spegnimento e di sganciamento del frontalino). Modalità BEEP OFF: il segnale acustico viene disattivato. 6) Selezione SEEK1/SEEK2: SEEK1: premere e tenere premuto il pulsante UP/DOWN per cercare l’emittente dal segnale più forte. La ricerca viene interrotta quando la radio sintonizza un segnale di sufficiente potenza. SEEK2: premere e tenere premuto il pulsante UP/DOWN per cercare l’emittente dal segnale più forte. In questo caso, la ricerca non si interrompe automaticamente quando la radio sintonizza un segnale di sufficiente potenza: per interromperla è necessario rilasciare il pulsante. 2. Coperchietto di protezione della porta USB Per collegare all’apparecchio un dispositivo di memoria esterno dotato di interfaccia USB, aprire il coperchietto e inserire il connettore USB nella relativa presa. Al termine, sfilare il connettore e richiudere il coperchietto. 3. Display a cristalli liquidi 4, 5. Pulsanti UP e DN 1) In modalità RADIO, premere brevemente e ripetutamente i pulsanti >>| o |<< per effettuare la ricerca manuale dell’emittente desiderata. Premere più a lungo i pulsanti >>| o |<< per effettuare la ricerca automatica delle emittenti che trasmettono con il segnale più potente. 2) In modalità MMC/SD, USB o DISC, premere brevemente il pulsante >>| per passare all’inizio del brano successivo. Premere invece il pulsante |<< per passare all’inizio del brano attuale, oppure premerlo due volte per passare all’inizio del brano precedente. Per effettuare la ricerca veloce in avanti o all’indietro, tenere rispettivamente premuto il pulsante >>| o |<<. 6. Pulsante APS 1) In modalità RADIO, premere brevemente il pulsante APS per effettuare la ricerca nella banda selezionata. Non appena viene sintonizzata un’emittente dal segnale sufficientemente potente, la ricerca si interrompe per 5 secondi, escludendo il segnale audio, e nel display LCD lampeggiano le indicazioni della preselezione e della frequenza di trasmissione, quindi la ricerca riprende. Premere invece per più di 2 secondi il pulsante APS per effettuare la ricerca nella banda attualmente selezionata; le sei emittenti dal segnale più potente vengono preselezionate e assegnate alle memorie corrispondenti. Terminato il ciclo di ricerca e memorizzazione automatiche, la radio si sintonizza sull’emittente memorizzata nella preselezione numero 1. 2) In modalità MP3/WMA DISC, premere ripetutamente il pulsante APS per selezionare la ricerca per brano (TRACK SEARCH), per primo carattere del titolo (FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH) oppure per cartella (DIRECTORY SEARCH). In modalità MMC/SD o USB premere il pulsante APS ripetutamente per selezionare la modalità di ricerca per brano e per cartella (TRACK SEARCH / DIRECTORY SEARCH). -5- a) In modalità di ricerca per brano (TRACK SEARCH), nel display LCD viene visualizzata l’indicazione “TRK T 000”, dove l’indicazione “0” corrispondente al numero più alto di brani contenuti nel CD lampeggia. Ruotare la manopola del volume per selezionare il numero (da 0 a 9) corrispondente al brano desiderato, quindi premere il pulsante SEL per confermare e per ripetere la stessa operazione con il numero di decine e di unità. Terminata la selezione, premere il pulsante SEL per riprodurre il brano corrispondente al numero selezionato. b) In modalità di ricerca per primo carattere del titolo (FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH), nel display LCD viene visualizzata l’indicazione “A--...”. Ruotando la manopola VOL è possibile scorrere le iniziali di tutti i brani e selezionare quello desiderato premendo >>| e |<<. Per riprodurre il file selezionato, premere SEL. c) In modalità di ricerca per cartella (DIRECTORY SEARCH), nel display viene visualizzata la cartella principale (se non ha un proprio nome viene indicata come ROOT). Ruotare la manopola VOL per selezionare la cartella desiderata e premere i pulsanti >>| oppure |<< per selezionare il brano desiderato. Infine, premere SEL per riprodurre il brano selezionato. 7. Pulsante BD 1) In modalità RADIO, premere brevemente e ripetutamente il pulsante BD per selezionare la banda di ricezione radio. In modalità MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA DISC, premendo ripetutamente il pulsante BD vengono visualizzati in scorrimento nel display il nome del file e il nome della cartella. Se il disco contiene file MP3/WMA con tag ID3 in formato 1.0 o 2.0, verranno visualizzati in scorrimento anche il titolo del brano, il nome dell’artista e quello dell’album. In modalità CD MP3/WMA DISC (riproduzione di un disco in formato misto CD o MP3/WMA), premendo il pulsante BD si passa dalla riproduzione dei brani del CD a quella dei file MP3/WMA. 8. Pulsante TA (1) Il pulsante TA attiva e disattiva la modalità TA (informazioni sul traffico). Quando la modalità TA è attiva (indicazione “TA” presente nel display LCD), l’apparecchio inizia a cercare un’emittente TA e nel display LCD viene visualizzata per alcuni istanti l’indicazione “TA SEEK”. Quando vengono trasmesse informazioni sul traffico: 1) Se l’apparecchio è in modalità MMC/SD, USB o CD, passa momentaneamente alla modalità RADIO. 2) L’apparecchio si collega temporaneamente a una stazione EON quando il sistema EON rileva un bollettino del traffico su un altro programma. Nel display LCD viene visualizzata l’indicazione “TP”. 3) Se il livello del volume è inferiore a 20, viene aumentato a 20; al termine del bollettino del traffico, l’apparecchio torna alla modalità e al volume precedenti. Se durante il bollettino del traffico viene regolato il volume, l’apparecchio utilizza la nuova regolazione solo durante la trasmissione del bollettino. * Funzione di interruzione TA: Premendo questo pulsante è possibile interrompere l’ascolto del bollettino del traffico, ma la modalità TA non viene per questo disattivata. * Quando la modalità TA è attiva, le funzioni SEEK, SCAN e AUTO MEMORY possono essere eseguite solo quando viene ricevuto il codice di identificazione del bollettino del traffico, e il codice di identificazione del bollettino del traffico non viene ricevuto durante l’intervallo specificato. -6- (2) Se si preme a lungo il pulsante TA, si commuta tra EON TA LOCAL oppure EONTA DISTANCE. Scopo di questa funzione è quello di ridurre al minimo la commutazione EON TA, ad esempio quando le informazioni EON TA vengono ricevute dall’emittente corrente e la radio passa all’emittente EON collegata, ma non è in grado di ricevere informazioni perché essa è troppo distante. La radio torna quindi all’emittente attuale. Nella modalità di funzionamento appena descritta, l’utente ascolterà un programma diverso, oppure non udrà alcun suono. 1). Modalità EON TA LOCAL: Quando il livello del segnale dell’emittente EON è inferiore alla soglia preimpostata, la radio non passa a questa stazione e l’utente non avverte disturbi della trasmissione. Quando la modalità EON TA LOCAL è attivata, nel display LCD viene visualizzata per alcuni secondi l’indicazione “EON TA LO”. 2). Modalità EON TA DISTANCE: La commutazione EON TA viene implementata dalla stazione attuale. Quando si seleziona la modalità EON TA DISTANCE, nel display LCD viene visualizzata per alcuni secondi l’indicazione “EON TA DX”. 9. Pulsante PTY Premere brevemente e ripetutamente il pulsante PTY per selezionare una delle seguenti modalità: Gruppo PTY MUSIC - Gruppo PTY SPEECH - PTY OFF La selezione di PTY TYPE avviene premendo uno dei sei pulsanti di preselezione da 1 a 6, che corrispondono ad altrettanti gruppi di emittenti. Quando sono attivate le modalità PTY MUSIC o PTY SPEECH, il precedente programma PTY e l’indicazione PTY sono visualizzati nel display LCD. Se per 2 secondi non si preme alcun pulsante, viene ricercato il PTY precedente. Durante il primo ciclo, se non viene individuato il PTY desiderato, viene visualizzato il messaggio NO PTY; l’apparecchio torna alla modalità normale di funzionamento e l’indicazione PTY scompare dal display LCD. 10. Pulsante POWER Per accendere l'apparecchio premere qualsiasi pulsante, ad eccezione di quelli di espulsione del disco e di sganciamento del frontalino. L'apparecchio può essere acceso anche inserendo un CD o una scheda MMC/SD, oppure collegando un dispositivo di memoria USB. Per spegnere l'apparecchio, premere per più di mezzo secondo il pulsante POWER. 11. Pulsante AF Premendo brevemente il pulsante AF, viene attivata la funzione di commutazione AF, come indicato dal display LCD. Nessuna indicazione AF nel display LCD: funzione di commutazione AF disattivata. Indicazione AF nel display LCD: funzione di commutazione AF attivata, con informazioni RDS. Indicazione AF lampeggiante: funzione di commutazione AF attivata, ma non viene ancora ricevuta alcuna informazione RDS. -7- Quando la funzione di commutazione AF è attivata, la radio verifica costantemente il livello del segnale AF a intervalli che dipendono dall’intensità del segnale dell’emittente sintonizzata (da alcuni minuti per le emittenti con segnale forte a pochi secondi per quelle con segnale debole). Ogni qualvolta viene individuata una frequenza di trasmissione alternativa, dal segnale più potente, per l’emittente sintonizzata, l’apparecchio passa brevemente alla nuova frequenza, e nel display LCD viene visualizzata per 1-2 secondi l’indicazione “NEW FREQUENCY”. Dato che il tempo di silenziamento dovuto al passaggio da una frequenza all’altra è molto breve, in genere questo passaggio non risulta udibile. Quando nel display LCD l’indicazione AF lampeggia, viene eseguita la ricerca di una stazione RDS. Se nel display LCD lampeggiano le indicazioni AF e TP, viene effettuata la ricerca della sola emittente che trasmette informazioni sul traffico. In modalità FM, quando la funzione AF è abilitata, le funzioni SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO-MEMORY ricevono e salvano solo programmi RDS. Premendo a lungo il pulsante AF, si passa alla modalità REGION ON/OFF. REGIONAL MODE ON: La commutazione AF o PI SEEK viene effettuata sull’emittente avente codici PI uguali a quelli dell’emittente attuale. (Il codice PI CODE viene verificato mentre è in corso il controllo delle frequenze alternative AF CHECK). REGIONAL MODE OFF: Il codice regionale in formato codice PI viene ignorato durante la commutazione AF o PI SEEK. (PI CODE e COVERAGE AREA non vengono controllati mentre è in corso il controllo AF CHECK). 12. Pulsante MUTE Premere il pulsante MUTE per azzerare o ripristinare l'audio durante la riproduzione. Per ripristinare immediatamente l'audio è anche possibile premere i pulsanti MODE, BAND o SEL, oppure ruotare la manopola VOL. 13. Pulsanti 1-6, TOP, INT, RPT e RDM A) Se si desidera richiamare un’emittente già memorizzata, premere brevemente uno dei pulsanti da 1 a 6. Se invece si vuole memorizzare l’emittente attualmente sintonizzata, premere e tenere premuto per più di un secondo uno dei pulsanti da 1 a 6. I pulsanti da 1 a 6 permettono inoltre di selezionare la modalità di ricezione PTY, articolata sui seguenti gruppi di emittenti: Gruppo programmi musicali Gruppo programmi parlati PTY OFF 1. POP M, ROCK M 1. NEWS, AFFAIRS, INFO 2. EASY M, LIGHT M 2. SPORT, EDUCATE, DRAMA 3. CLASSICS, OTHER M 3. CULTURE, SCIENCE, VARIED 4. JAZZ, COUNTRY 4. WEATHER, FINANCE, CHILDREN 5. NATION M, OLDIES 5. SOCIAL, RELIGION, PHONE IN 6. FOLK M 6. TRAVEL, LEISURE, DOCUMENT B) In modalità MMC/SD, USB o DISC, premere il pulsante TOP/>|| per sospendere temporaneamente la riproduzione, e premerlo nuovamente per riprenderla. Premere a lungo TOP per riprodurre il primo brano sulla scheda MMC/SD, sul dispositivo di memoria USB o sul CD. C) In modalità MMC/SD o USB, premendo il pulsante INT viene visualizzata brevemente l’indicazione “M-INT” e i primi 10 secondi di ogni brano vengono riprodotti in sequenza. In modalità MP3/WMA o DISC, premendo il pulsante INT viene visualizzata brevemente l’indicazione “S-INT” e i primi 10 secondi di ogni brano vengono riprodotti in sequenza. In modalità MMC/SD, USB oMP3/WMA, premendo il pulsante RPT viene visualizzata l’indicazione “D-INT” e i primi 10 secondi di ogni brano vengono -8- riprodotti in sequenza. Mentre è attivata la funzione di riproduzione in sequenza dei primi 10 secondi di ogni brano, premere una seconda volta il pulsante INT per tornare alla normale modalità di lettura dei brani in ordine progressivo. D) In modalità MMC/SD o USB, premendo brevemente il pulsante RPT viene visualizzata l’indicazione “M-RPT” e la lettura del brano attuale viene ripetuta continuamente. In modalità MP3/WMA o DISC, premendo brevemente il pulsante RPT viene visualizzata l’indicazione “S-RPT” e la lettura del brano attuale viene ripetuta continuamente. In modalità MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, premendo a lungo il pulsante RPT viene visualizzata l’indicazione “D-RPT” e la lettura del contenuto della cartella attuale viene ripetuta continuamente. Mentre è attivata la funzione di ripetizione continua della lettura, premere una seconda volta il pulsante RPT per tornare alla normale modalità di lettura dei brani in ordine progressivo. E) In modalità MMC/SD o USB, premendo brevemente il pulsante RDM viene visualizzata l’indicazione “M-RDM” e si attiva la riproduzione dei brani in ordine casuale. In modalità MP3/WMA o DISC, premendo brevemente il pulsante RDM viene visualizzata l’indicazione “S-RDM” e si attiva la riproduzione dei brani in ordine casuale. In modalità MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, premendo a lungo il pulsante RDM viene visualizzata l’indicazione “D-RDM” e si attiva la riproduzione in ordine casuale dei brani contenuti nella cartella attualmente selezionata. Mentre è attivata la funzione di riproduzione in ordine casuale, premere una seconda volta il pulsante RDM per tornare alla normale modalità di lettura dei brani in ordine progressivo. F) Durante la normale lettura dei brani in modalità MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, ai pulsanti M6 e M5 sono rispettivamente assegnate le funzioni di selezione della decina superiore o inferiore. 14. Pulsante MODE Premere il pulsante MODE per selezionare la modalità di funzionamento desiderata tra RADIO, DISC, CARD (dopo aver inserito una scheda di memoria), USB (dopo aver collegato un dispositivo di memoria con interfaccia USB), AUX e iPod (dopo aver collegato un iPod™). 15,16. Slot per scheda di memoria e porta USB Inserire una scheda di memoria MMC/SD nell’apposito slot, oppure collegare un dispositivo di memoria USB nell’apposita porta. Nel display verranno rispettivamente visualizzate le indicazioni “CARD” oppure “USB”, sarà automaticamente selezionato il relativo ingresso (se si utilizzano simultaneamente lo slot e la porta, verrà automaticamente selezionato l’ingresso attivato per ultimo) e avrà inizio la riproduzione del primo brano registrato sulla scheda o sul dispositivo USB. -9- 17. Ingresso AUX Questo connettore permette di riprodurre per mezzo dell’autoradio il segnale di qualsiasi sorgente audio esterna dotata di uscita stereo. Per attivare l’ingresso AUX premere ripetutamente il pulsante MODE, quindi regolare il volume d’ascolto. 18. Pulsante SCAN Per mezzo di questo pulsante è possibile effettuare la ricerca automatica delle emittenti. Premendo il pulsante SCAN la ricerca ha inizio, e si interrompe automaticamente non appena viene sintonizzata un’emittente dal segnale sufficientemente potente, mentre l’indicazione della frequenza lampeggia nel display. Se si preme nuovamente il pulsante, la ricerca si interrompe e l’emittente rimane sintonizzata; se invece non lo si preme, dopo 5 secondi la ricerca riprende. 19. Presa di collegamento per iPod™ Non appena all’apparecchio si collega un iPod™, nel suo display compare l’indicazione “ok to disconnect”, che evidenzia che il collegamento è stato stabilito. Se questa indicazione non dovesse essere visualizzata, scollegarli e quindi ricollegarli. In modalità iPod, premere il pulsante APS per attivare la funzione di scelta delle opzioni, quindi ruotare la manopola del volume VOL oppure premere i pulsanti “+” o “–” per scorrere le varie opzioni presenti nel menu in questo ordine: Musica > Playlist > Artisti > Album > Generi > Compositori Dopo che si è evidenziata l’opzione desiderata, premere il pulsante SEL, quindi ruotare la manopola del volume VOL oppure premere i pulsanti “+” o “–” per scorrere le relative opzioni secondarie. LED indicatore di assenza del frontalino Inizia a lampeggiare non appena si estrae il frontalino, con la funzione di deterrente antifurto (l’autoradio senza il frontalino è inutilizzabile). 26. Pulsantino di resettaggio Prima di iniziare ad utilizzare l’apparecchio al termine dell’installazione, qualora le informazioni visualizzate sul pannello LCD risultino errate, oppure in caso di errato funzionamento di alcuni pulsanti, premere questo pulsantino RESET con un oggetto appuntito. Gli altoparlanti devono possedere un’impedenza pari a 4 Ohm. 2. Non collegare a massa il cavetto di azionamento dell’antenna elettrica. PRECAUZIONI E MANUTENZIONE 1. Se la temperatura all'interno dell'auto è molto elevata, come ad esempio dopo essere stata parcheggiata al sole, non utilizzare l'apparecchio sino a quando non si sia adeguatamente abbassata. 2. La custodia serve a trasportare e conservare al sicuro il frontalino. Custodia Frontalino 3. Prima di procedere all'installazione si deve verificare che l’impianto elettrico del veicolo sia del tipo con negativo a massa (polo negativo della batteria collegato a una parte metallica del veicolo). 4. Al fine di evitare di sovraccaricare o cortocircuitare l'amplificatore, i cavetti degli altoparlanti non devono entrare in contatto quando l'apparecchio è acceso. 5. Per resettare l’apparecchio e ripristinare le impostazioni originali, premere con un oggetto appuntito il pulsantino di resettaggio. Per rimontare il frontalino inserire per primo il lato destro nell’apposito alloggiamento, quindi premere delicatamente il lato sinistro per agganciarlo all’apparecchio. Prima di iniziare ad installare l’apparecchio, rimuovere le due viti di bloccaggio della meccanica. Pulsantino di resettaggio Per rimuovere il frontalino premere il pulsante di sbloccaggio REL situato nell’angolo in alto a destra, quindi sfilarlo dall’apparecchio. - 13 - Per collegare un dispositivo di memoria USB si deve prima aprire il coperchietto di protezione della presa USB. Quando non si utilizza la presa, il coperchietto deve sempre essere chiuso. RISOLUZIONE DEI PROBLEMI PIÙ COMUNI Per risolvere i problemi più comuni, consultare la tabella che segue. Spegnere l’apparecchio, attendere qualche secondo e riaccenderlo. Se ciò non fosse sufficiente, premere il pulsantino di resettaggio. Il frontalino non è posizionato correttamente. Estrarlo e quindi reinserirlo in posizione corretta. L'apparecchio è stato installato con un angolo superiore ai 30° rispetto all’orizzontale. Ridurre l'angolo di installazione, in modo che l’apparecchio sia il più orizzontale possibile. Il suolo stradale è molto irregolare. Attendere che il suolo stradale diventi più regolare e uniforme. Il CD è molto sporco o difettoso. Pulire il CD, oppure sostituirlo. La radio non funziona; non si riesce ad effettuare la ricerca automatica delle emittenti. Il cavo dell'antenna non è collegato. Collegare saldamente il cavo dell'antenna. Con la ricerca automatica non si riesce a sintonizzare alcuna emittente I segnali nell’area di ricezione sono molto deboli. Ricorrere alla procedura di ricerca manuale delle emittenti. Non si riesce ad attivare alcune funzioni operative. Audio assente. L’apparecchio non risponde ai comandi. Cleaning the CD: Before playing a CD, wipe it off with a clean, dust-free cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc in the direction of the arrow. Always insert the CD with the label side facing upwards. If the CD is inserted with the printed side facing downwards, the device may be damaged. Note: If there is already a CD in the CD slot, do not try to insert a second CD. This may damage the device. Always hold CDs by the edge. In order to keep the CD clean do not touch the surface. Pull out the CD as shown below. Do not attach any sticker or adhesive tape on the CD. Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or sources of heat such as heating vents. Do not leave CDs in a car if it is parked in direct sunlight as that will lead to a considerable rise in the temperature inside the car. Note: Do not use any solvents such as petrol or thinning agents. Commercially available cleaning substances or antistatic spray. This will damage the device. 2 LOCATION AND FUNCTION OF CONTROLS INSTALLATION METHOD This is an anti-theft installation method. The main unit wears a METAL MOUNTING SLEEVE. Please connect the wiring, eg, the Power Supply, the Speakers and the Antenna according to the requirements of this Instruction Manual, then install the metal mounting sleeve into the car as per the diagram illustrated below. METAL SUPPORT STRAP To properly fix the metal mounting sleeve, bend the tabs of the sleeve against the DASH BOARD with a screwdriver. To raise the anti-skip capability of the unit please ensure the metal support strap is connected firmly to the car chassis. Rotate VOL knob to increase or decrease the sound level of front or rear speaker. 3 Before mounting and operating the CD player, remove the metal mounting sleeve illustrated by the arrows. Remove the two screws that protect the CD player during transportation before operating the player. Push this reset button with a cuspidal object to renovate the distorted program once the program is distorted. To attach the removable faceplate, insert the right side of the faceplate into the right of the CD player chassis first. Then push the left side of the faceplate into the chassis until you hear it “click”. RESET BUTTON NOTE: When needing to insert USB bar into the USB socket, uncover the plastic cover cap. When no needing to do USB operation, please cover the plastic cover cap. Do not install the detachable panel before connecting the wire. 11 (2) Press SEL button hold for more than 2 seconds to turn on TA SEEK/TA ALARM mode, then press SEL button shortly and repeatedly to select PI SOUND/PI MUTE, RETUNE L/RETUNE S, MASK DPI/MASK ALL, BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF, SEEK1/SEEK2(in RADIO mode), DSP OFF/FLAT/POP M/CLASSICS/ROCK, LOUD OFF/LOUD ON, SUBW OFF/ON(with subwoofer output), STEREO/MONO (in RADIO mode), DX/LOC(in RADIO mode), VOL LAST/VOL ADJ(When it is in VOL ADJ mode, the next mode will be A-VOL after VOL ADJ mode, then you can adjust the volume level. The minimum value of the volume level you can set is 10) and ESP10/ESP40 in the sequence and circulation. After selecting the desired mode, rotate VOL knob to select one setup item of the desired mode. 1) TA SEEK/TA ALARM: TA SEEK mode: when newly tuned station does not receive TP information for 5 seconds, the radio retunes to next station which has not the same station(PI) as the last station, but has the TP information. When TP information gets lost at the current station for retune time which is set by RETUNE SHORT(60 seconds) or RETUNE LONG(90 seconds), the radio start to retune to next same PI station. When same PI station does not catch in 1 cyclic search, the radio retunes to next station with TP information. TA ALARM mode: when this mode is selected, any automatic retune mode is not activated. Only double beep sound(ALARM) is out-put. When newly tuned station does not have TP information for 5 seconds, beeps come out. When TP information gets lost at the current station for retune time, the beep sound is out-putted. When newly tuned station has not RDS signal, PI SEEK is suppressed somewhat. 2) PI SOUND/ PI MUTE: PI SOUND mode: if a car cruises that critical area back and forth, an oscillation phenomenon can be occurred, because the different PI code can be receive from a same AF. when the different PI sound (DIP) is heard once in a while, the different PI sound will be heard for less than 1 second. PI MUTE mode: under above same situation, a mute sound will be heard for less than 1 second. 3) RETUNE L / RETUNE S: The initial time of automatic TA search or PI SEARCH mode is selected. When same PI station does not catch 1 cyclic search, the radio goes to last station and waits for 4-5 minute until PI code is received. RETUNE L mode: selected as 90 seconds. RETUNE S mode: selected as 60 seconds. 4) MASK DPI/MASK ALL: MASK DPI mode: masked only the AF which has different PI. MASK ALL mode: masked the AF which has different PI and NO RDS signal with high field strength. 5) BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF: BEEP 2ND mode: the beep is only generated when an allotted double key is pressed long(1second). BEEP ALL mode: the beep is generated when every key is pressed(except power and release buttons). BEEP OFF mode: the beep is disabled. 4 6) SEEK1/SEEK2: SEEK1: press UP/DOWN button and hold to seek up or down for the strong signal station. And then stop seek when received the strong signal station. SEEK2: press UP/DOWN button and hold to seek up or down for the strong signal station. And do not stop seek when received the strong signal station. After releasing it and then received the strong signal station, the seek will stop. 2. COVER of USB SOCKET When needing to do USB operation, open the cover, then insert the USB bar into USB socket. When no needing to do USB operation, cover it with the cover after pulling it out of the USB socket. 3. LCD (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY) 4&5. Press |<< button once to play the current track from the beginning of the current track, press |<< button twice continuously to play the last track. Press >>| or |<< button and hold to skip forward or backward. 6. AUTO-STORAGE/PRESET MEMORY SCAN BUTTON 1) In radio mode, press it to perform all stations memory for 5 seconds each time, while memory digital and frequency will flash on LCD. If the button is pressed for more than 2 seconds, it will seek station on current band, then write to the preset memories. When the auto-storage operation is completed, it will automatically perform for 5 seconds each time. After finishing 1 loop of memory scan, it will listen to the first memory station in the current band. 2) In MP3/WMA disc mode, press APS button repeatedly to select TRACK SEARCH, FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH or DIRECTORY SEARCH mode. In MMC/SD or USB mode, press APS button repeatedly to select TRACK SEARCH DIRECTORY SEARCH mode. 3) In TRACK SEARCH mode, the LCD will display TRK T 000 and flash the biggest digit 0 that the MMC/SD card, USB stick or MP3/WMA disc contain. Then rotate VOL knob to select the number of the flashing digit from 0 ~ 9. Then press SEL button to confirm the number and flash next smaller digit 0. With the same means, select the number of the flashing digit. After finishing selecting the number of all flashing digit, press SEL button to play the track of the selected serial number. In FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH mode, the LCD will display A--......, If there are files names its first character are A , the ......is the first file name its first character is A by the order of A~Z and 0~9; otherwise, the ......is NONE. Rotate VOL knob to select file’s first character by the order of A~Z and 0~9. Then press >>| or |<< button to select one file its first characters is the selected one. Finally press SEL button to play the selected file. In DIRECTORY SEARCH mode, the LCD will display the root folder(if there is not the root folder, it will find a root folder named ROOT). Then rotate VOL knob to select your desired folder and then press >>|/|<< button to select your desired track in the folder. Finally press SEL button to play the selected track. 5 24. IPOD SOCKET When inserting an iPod into the iPod socket, the iPod LCD will show “ok to disconnect” , it means that they are connected correctly each other; If the iPod LCD does not show the text mentioned above, may be need to pull the iPod out of the iPod socket and then insert it again. In iPod mode, press the APS button to enter the iPod list mode, then rotate the VOL knob on the front panel of the main unit or press the + or - button on the remote control to select a desired iPod list name as follows: -->SONGS-->PLAYLIST-->ARTISTS-->ALBUMS-->GENRES-->COMPOSER--> After you select one of them, press the SEL button to enter the selected list, then rotate the VOL knob or press the + or - button to select a desired item in the list, and then press the SEL button to play or enter it … until play your desired file. RESET BUTTON Before operating the unit for the first time, or after replacing the car battery or changing the connections, you must reset the unit. Press this button with a cuspidal object. This operation will erase the clock setting and some stored contents. 10 15&16. MMC/SD SLOT and USB PORT and THEIR OPERATION When needing to do MMC/SD or USB playing, insert the MMC/SD card or USB stick into MMC/SD slot or USB port. AUX INPUT JACK Press the mode button to select auxiliary input playing mode. You can connect any matched external audio device to this socket. Use the volume knob to adjust volume. 18. SCAN BUTTON Press it to scan up by one channel step with station detection. If a valid signal has detected, the current frequency is blinked within 5 seconds, then press it again to stop scanning and remain the current frequency; otherwise, the unit continue to scan up by one channel step with station detection 5 seconds later. 19.CLOCK BUTTON 1) RADIO MODE When RDS DATA is received, press it shortly and repeatedly to display the following items alternatively: PS NAME ---> CLOCK ---> FREQUENCY ---> PTY ---> When RDS DATA is not received, press it shortly and repeatedly to display the following items alternatively: FREQUENCY ---> CLOCK ---> PTY ---> 2) MMC/SD, USB or DISC MODE Press it shortly to display time for 5 seconds, and then it returns to its previous display unless the button is pressed again. 3) time adjustment From the clock mode, press it hold for more than 1 seconds to flash time and then rotate VOL knob to adjust hour or minute. 20. INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL SENSOR 21. RELEASE BUTTON Press the REL button to release the front control panel from the chassis, then pull it up a little to take out from the unit chassis. When the front control panel is removed the LED indicator flashes. 22. EJECT BUTTON In the power on state, the loaded disc canbe ejected by pressing this EJECT button. 23. DISC SLOT 9 7. BAND BUTTON Press it repeatedly to select your desired radio band during RADIO mode. In MMC/SD, USB or MP3/WMA disc mode, if you press BAND button repeatedly, the file name, folder name, song’s title, artist and album information will be scrolling on the LCD display. As long as the current playing MP3/WMA music contains relevant ID3 tag information in version 1.0/2.0 format, the 3 items underlined above will be scrolling on the LCD display; otherwise, they will not. In CD/MP3/WMA format-mixed disc playback mode, long press BAND button, it will change from playing the CD formatted songs to MP3/WMA formatted songs. 8. TA [TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT] BUTTON (1) When press the button, it is activated as TA mode on or off. When TA mode is on(TA is displayed on LCD), it will begin to seek TA station and TA SEEK will be displayed on LCD for a while. When traffic announcement is transmitted: 1) If the unit is in MMC/SD, USB or disc mode, it will switch to radio mode temporarily. 2) Temporarily switch over to an EON linked station when EON detects a traffic announcement on that other program, and TP will be displayed on LCD 3) If volume level is below 20, volume level is raised to 20, and returns to its previous mode and volume level when the traffic announcement is over. If volume is adjusted during traffic announcement, only the traffic announcement volume is valid. * TA interruption function: The current traffic announcement is cancelled by pressing this key. But the TA mode will not be off. * When TA is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO MEMORY function can be received or saved only when traffic program identification code has been received. When TA is ON, traffic program identification code is not received during specified time. (2) When pressed long, it is selected EONTA LOCAL/EONTA DISTANCE mode. The purpose of this key is to reduce unwanted EON TA switching, which EON TA Information was received from current station and the radio switched to that EON linked station, but no information could not be received because the EON linked station is located too far from that area. So the radio is switched back to current station again. In above operation, a customer listen to a wrong program or mute sound for a while. 1) EONTA LOCAL mode: When the filed strength level of EON linked is less than the threshold level, the radio does not switch that station, and a customer can hardly listen to any disturbances. When EONTA LOCAL mode is selected, EONTA LO on numeric display is indicated for a few seconds. 2) EONTA DISTANCE mode: EON TA switching is try to implemented by the information of current station. When EON TA DISTANCE mode is selected, EONTA DX on numeric display is indicated for a few seconds. 6 9. PTY (PROGRAM TYPE) BUTTON Press it shortly and repeatedly to select one of the following mode: PTY MUSIC group- - PTY SPEECH group- - PTY OFF While selecting PTY TYPE, its selection is implemented by preset buttons as described in preset key. (press one of the 6 preset buttons shortly and repeatedly to select the PTY TYPE in the preset button) When PTY MUSIC or PTY SPEECH is on, the previous PTY program and PTY word is displayed on LCD. If there are no keys entered for 2 seconds, previously selected PTY is searched. During 1 loop, if desired PTY is not found, NO PTY is flashed, then return to previous normal radio and PTY word disappear. 10. POWER BUTTON Press any button except the EJECT and RELEASE button to turn on the unit. It also can turn on the unit to insert disc, MMC/SD card or USB stick into their slot or port. Press the power button and hold for more than 0.5 seconds to turn off the unit. 11. AF(ALTERNATIVE FREQUENCIES) BUTTON When pressed short, AF switching mode is selected and the state of AF switching mode is displayed by AF segment in display. Segment off: AF switching mode off. Segment on: AF switching mode on, and has RDS information. Segment flashing: AF switching mode on, but RDS information is not received yet. When AF switching mode is selected, the radio checks the signal strength of AF all the time. The interval of checking time of each AFs depends on the signal strength of current station, from a few minute for strong station to a few seconds for weak station. Every time that new AF is stronger than current station, it switches over to that frequency for very short time, and NEW FREQUENCY is displayed for 1-2 second. Because the mute time of AF switching or checking time is very short, it is almost inaudible in case of normal program. During FM mode, when AF is on, SEEK, (SCAN), AUTO-MEMORY function can only receive and save RDS program. When pressed long, AF mode is converted to REGION ON/OFF mode. REGIONAL MODE ON: AF switching or PI SEEK is implemented to the station which have all PI codes are same as current station.(PI CODE is checked when AF CHECK in progress) REGIONAL MODE OFF: The regional code in the format of PI code is ignored when AF switching or PI SEEK is implemented. (PI CODE and COVERAGE AREA is not checked when AF CHECK in progress) 12. MUTE BUTTON This button serves to switch the MUTED state on or off. Press the MUTE button to suppress the loudspeaker temporarily, and press again to resume listening. In FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH mode, the LCD will display A--......, If there are files names its first character are A , the ......is the first file name its first character is A by the order of A~Z and 0~9; otherwise, the ......is NONE. Rotate VOL knob to select file’s first character by the order of A~Z and 0~9. Then press >>| or |<< button to select one file its first characters is the selected one. Finally press SEL button to play the selected file. In DIRECTORY SEARCH mode, the LCD will display the root folder(if there is not the root folder, it will find a root folder named ROOT). Then rotate VOL knob to select your desired folder and then press >>|/|<< button to select your desired track in the folder. Finally press SEL button to play the selected track. 5 24. IPOD SOCKET When inserting an iPod into the iPod socket, the iPod LCD will show “ok to disconnect” , it means that they are connected correctly each other; If the iPod LCD does not show the text mentioned above, may be need to pull the iPod out of the iPod socket and then insert it again. Only double beep sound(ALARM) is out-put. When newly tuned station does not have TP information for 5 seconds, beeps come out. When TP information gets lost at the current station for retune time, the beep sound is out-putted. When newly tuned station has not RDS signal, PI SEEK is suppressed somewhat. 2) PI SOUND/ PI MUTE: PI SOUND mode: if a car cruises that critical area back and forth, an oscillation phenomenon can be occurred, because the different PI code can be receive from a same AF. when the different PI sound (DIP) is heard once in a while, the different PI sound will be heard for less than 1 second. PI MUTE mode: under above same situation, a mute sound will be heard for less than 1 second. 3) RETUNE L / RETUNE S: The initial time of automatic TA search or PI SEARCH mode is selected. When PI information is not caught for retune time , the radio start to retune to next same PI station. When same PI station does not catch 1 cyclic search, the radio goes to last station and waits for 4-5 minute until PI code is received. RETUNE L mode: selected as 90 seconds. RETUNE S mode: selected as 60 seconds. 4) MASK DPI/MASK ALL: MASK DPI mode: masked only the AF which has different PI. MASK ALL mode: masked the AF which has different PI and NO RDS signal with high field strength. 5) BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF: BEEP 2ND mode: the beep is only generated when an allotted double key is pressed long(1second). BEEP ALL mode: the beep is generated when every key is pressed(except power and release buttons). BEEP OFF mode: the beep is disabled. 4 LOCATION AND FUNCTION OF CONTROLS INSTALLATION METHOD This is an anti-theft installation method. The main unit wears a METAL MOUNTING SLEEVE. Please connect the wiring, eg, the Power Supply, the Speakers and the Antenna according to the requirements of this Instruction Manual, then install the metal mounting sleeve into the car as per the diagram illustrated below. METAL SUPPORT STRAP To properly fix the metal mounting sleeve, bend the tabs of the sleeve against the DASH BOARD with a screwdriver. To raise the anti-skip capability of the unit please ensure the metal support strap is connected firmly to the car chassis. UNIT CHASSIS PLASTIC TRIM RING DASHBOARD FRONT PANEL METAL MOUNTING SLEEVE To remove the CD player from the Cage insert the supplied keys into the Left and Right side slots of the chassis then pull the chassis out of the cage as shown. NOTE 1. SEL( AUDIO MODE SELECT)BUTTON/VOLUME KNOB (1) Press SEL button shortly and repeatedly to change the mode in the sequence as follows: --> VOL --> BAS --> TRB --> BAL --> FAD --> 1) VOLUME CONTROL A. The volume level can be adjusted at any time by rotating the audio level VOL knob as select mode has been initially defaulted at volume mode. B. The volume level is also obtained by stepping through the SEL button until the function VOL is displayed and then rotate VOL knob to adjust the sound level. 2) BASS CONTROL A. Press the SEL button to select the bass mode until BAS appears on the display. B. rotate VOL knob to adjust the bass effect. 3) TREBLE CONTROL A. Rotate VOL knob to increase or decrease the sound level of front or rear speaker. 3 Before mounting and operating the CD player, remove the metal mounting sleeve illustrated by the arrows. Remove the two screws that protect the CD player during transportation before operating the player. Push this reset button with a cuspidal object to renovate the distorted program once the program is distorted. To attach the removable faceplate, insert the right side of the faceplate into the right of the CD player chassis first. Then push the left side of the faceplate into the chassis until you hear it “click”. RESET BUTTON NOTE: When needing to insert USB bar into the USB socket, uncover the plastic cover cap. When no needing to do USB operation, please cover the plastic cover cap. To remove the front panel from the unit chassis, press the REL key to release the front panel from the unit chassis, then pull it up a little to take out from the unit chassis. 12 TROUBLE SHOOTING PRECAUTION OF DISC PLAY: Before using the check list please make all the connections first. Cleaning the CD: Before playing a CD, wipe it off with a clean, dust-free cleaning cloth. Wipe the disc in the direction of the arrow. Always insert the CD with the label side facing upwards. If the CD is inserted with the printed side facing downwards, the device may be damaged. Note: If there is already a CD in the CD slot, do not try to insert a second CD. This may damage the device. Always hold CDs by the edge. In order to keep the CD clean do not touch the surface. Pull out the CD as shown below. Do not attach any sticker or adhesive tape on the CD. Do not expose the CD to direct sunlight or sources of heat such as heating vents. Do not leave CDs in a car if it is parked in direct sunlight as that will lead to a considerable rise in the temperature inside the car. Note: Do not use any solvents such as petrol or thinning agents. Commercially available cleaning substances or antistatic spray. This will damage the device. 2 Importante 1. Por este motivo es aconsejable seleccionar una velocidad máxima de 24x para los CD-R y 4x para los CD-RW. MANDO A DISTANCIA DE INFRARROJOS Cambio de la pila 1. Antes de utilizar el mando a distancia por primera vez, saque la lengüeta de material aislante tirando en la dirección indicada por la flecha de la fig. 1. 2. Presione el seguro en la dirección indicada por la flecha A (ver fig. 2) y extraiga el soporte de la pila en la dirección indicada por la flecha B (ver fig. 2). 3. Cambie la pila descargada por una nueva; el lado con polaridad positiva, marcado con el símbolo “+”, debe quedar dirigido hacia arriba (ver fig. 3). Lado dirigido hacia arriba Nota sobre la pila: 1. El uso impropio de la pila puede provocar sobrecalentamientos y explosiones capaces de generar lesiones e incendios. 2. Las pérdidas de líquido corrosivo de las pilas pueden dañar el mando a distancia. En condiciones de uso normales y a temperaturas moderadas, la pila dura aproximadamente 6 meses. 3. No cortocircuite la pila. 4. No la arroje al fuego. 5. Para evitar posibles accidentes, mantenga la pila lejos del alcance de los niños. -1- PRECAUCIONES AL UTILIZAR LOS CD Antes de reproducir los CD, límpielos en sentido radial (siguiendo la dirección indicada por las flechas) utilizando un paño suave y seco. No use en ningún caso solventes como el benceno, diluyentes u otros productos para la limpieza dado que podrían dañar la superficie del disco. Introduzca el CD con la etiqueta hacia arriba. En caso contrario puede provocar daños en el sintonizador-reproductor. No intente introducir un segundo CD si el aparato contiene ya uno en su interior. Sujete los CD por el borde como se muestra en la figura para no dejar huellas sobre su superficie iridiscente. No ponga etiquetas adhesivas en los CD. No exponga los CD a la luz directa del sol ni a otras fuentes de calor, como las salidas de aire caliente de la calefacción. No deje los CD en el interior del vehículo si se encuentra aparcado al sol: el exceso de calor puede deformarlos de modo permanente. -2- DESCRIPCIÓN DEL APARATO 1. Botón SEL (selección) y mando VOL (volumen) (1) Pulse brevemente y repetidamente el botón SEL para seleccionar cíclicamente los siguientes parámetros: VOL (regulación del volumen) --> BAS (regulación de los tonos graves) --> TRB (regulación de los tonos agudos) --> BAL (regulación del balance del volumen entre los canales de la derecha y los de la izquierda) --> FAD (regulación del balance del volumen entre los canales delanteros y los traseros). 1) Regulación del volumen A. Para regular el volumen es suficiente hacer girar el mando VOL dado que es la función predeterminada. B. También puede regular el volumen pulsando el botón SEL para visualizar la indicación VOL en la pantalla y haciendo girar el mando VOL. 2) Ajuste de los tonos graves A. Pulse el botón SEL para visualizar la indicación BAS en la pantalla. B. Haga girar el mando VOL. 3) Ajuste de los tonos agudos A. Pulse el botón SEL para visualizar la indicación TRB en la pantalla. B. Haga girar el mando VOL. 4) Ajuste del balance entre los canales de la derecha y los de la izquierda A. Pulse el botón SEL para visualizar la indicación BAL en la pantalla. B. Haga girar el mando VOL para aumentar o reducir el nivel del volumen de los canales de la izquierda o de los de la derecha. -3- 5) Ajustes del balance entre los canales delanteros y los traseros A. Pulse el botón SEL para visualizar la indicación FAD en la pantalla. B. Haga girar el mando VOL para aumentar o reducir el nivel del volumen de los canales delanteros o de los traseros. (2) Pulse durante 2 segundos aproximadamente el botón SEL de manera que la pantalla LCD muestre la indicación “TA SEEK /TA ALARM”. A continuación, pulse brevemente y repetidamente el botón SEL para seleccionar cíclicamente PI SOUND/PI MUTE, RETUNE L/RETUNE S, MASK DPI/MASK ALL, BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF, SEEK1/SEEK2 (solo en modo RADIO), DSP OFF/FLAT/POP M/CLASSICS/ROCK, LOUD OFF/LOUD ON, SUBW OFF/ON (disponible solo en algunas versiones dotadas de salida para subwoofer), STEREO/MONO (en modo RADIO), DX/LOC (en modo RADIO), VOL LAST/ VOL ADJ (en modo VOL ADJ, el modo siguiente es A-VOL, donde se puede regular el volumen. El valor mínimo que se puede programar para el volumen es 10) y ESP10/ESP40. Una vez seleccionado el modo deseado, haga girar el mando VOL para efectuar el ajuste o para elegir la opción deseada. 1) Selección TA SEEK/TA ALARM Modo TA SEEK: cuando la emisora que acaba de sintonizar no recibe información TP durante 5 segundos, la radio pasa a la emisora siguiente dotada de distinto código de identificación PI que prevé actualizaciones TP para las noticias sobre el tráfico. Si esta emisora no recibe actualizaciones durante el intervalo de resintonización programado con RETUNE SHORT (60 segundos) o RETUNE LONG (90 segundos), comienza de nuevo la búsqueda de una emisora con el mismo PI. Si la sintonización no obtiene un resultado positivo en un ciclo completo de sintonía, la radio se sintoniza en la emisora siguiente que transmite programas TP de información sobre el tráfico. Modo TA ALARM: cuando se activa este modo, la resintonización automática permanece desactivada. En este caso, cuando la nueva emisora sintonizada no aporta información TP durante 5 segundos, se emiten solo dos señales acústicas. Cuando no se detecta la información TP sobre las condiciones del tráfico en el momento de la resintonización, el aparato emite dos señales acústicas. Si la emisora que se acaba de sintonizar no transmite señales RDS, la función PI SEEK se desactiva. 2) Selección PI SOUND/ PI MUTE: Modo PI SOUND: cuando se viaja en un área con una recepción crítica, la misma frecuencia alternativa AF puede recibir códigos PI distintos. En este caso la señal PI se oye brevemente, durante menos de un segundo. Modo PI MUTE: en las mismas condiciones indicadas precedentemente el aparato no emite ninguna señal sonora. 3) Selección RETUNE L / RETUNE S: Esta opción permite seleccionar el tiempo inicial de búsqueda automática TA o PI. Si la radio no capta la información PI durante el tiempo de resintonización, reanuda la búsqueda de la misma sección PI. Si no capta la estación PI en un ciclo de sintonía completo, regresa a la última emisora sintonizada y permanece en estado de espera durante 4-5 minutos hasta recibir el código PI. Modo RETUNE L: establece un tiempo de sintonía de 90 segundos. Modo RETUNE S: establece un tiempo de sintonía de 60 segundos. 4) Selección MASK DPI/MASK ALL: Modo MASK DPI: oculta solo las estaciones AF de distinto PI. Modo MASK ALL: oculta las estaciones AF de distinto PI o sin datos RDS provistas de una señal potente. -4- 5) Selección BEEP 2ND/BEEP ALL/BEEP OFF: Modo BEEP 2ND: el aparato emite una señal acústica solo cuando se ejerce una presión larga (1 segundo) en un botón provisto de doble función. Modo BEEP ALL: el aparato emite una señal acústica al pulsar cualquier botón (excepto los de encendido/apagado o el de extracción del panel frontal). Modo BEEP OFF: la señal acústica permanece desactivada. 6) Selección SEEK1/SEEK2: SEEK1: pulse y mantenga presionado el botón UP/DOWN para buscar la emisora provista de mejor señal. La búsqueda se interrumpe cuando la radio sintoniza una señal de suficiente potencia. SEEK2: pulse y mantenga presionado el botón UP/DOWN para buscar la emisora provista de mejor señal. En este caso la búsqueda no se interrumpe automáticamente cuando la radio sintoniza una señal potente: para interrumpirla es necesario soltar el botón. 2. Tapa de protección del puerto USB Para conectar al aparato un dispositivo de memoria externo dotado de interfaz USB, abra la tapa e introduzca el conector USB en la toma correspondiente. Al terminar, extraiga el conector y cierre la tapa. 3. Pantalla de cristales líquidos 4, 5. Botones UP y DN 1) En modo RADIO, pulse brevemente y repetidamente los botones >>| o |<< para efectuar la búsqueda manual de la emisora deseada. Ejerza una presión más larga en los botones >>| o |<< para efectuar la búsqueda automática de las emisoras que transmiten con mejor señal. 2) En modo MMC/SD, USB o DISC, pulse brevemente el botón >>| para pasar al principio de la pista siguiente. Pulse el botón |<< para pasar al principio de la pista actual o púlselo dos veces para pasar al principio de la pista anterior. Para efectuar la búsqueda rápida hacia adelante o hacia atrás, mantenga presionado el botón >>| o |<< respectivamente. 6. Botón APS 1) En modo RADIO, pulse brevemente el botón APS para efectuar la búsqueda en la banda seleccionada. Nada más sintonizar una emisora provista de una señal suficientemente potente, la búsqueda se interrumpe durante 5 segundos excluyendo la señal de audio y en la pantalla LCD parpadean las indicaciones de la posición de memoria correspondiente y de la frecuencia de transmisión; a continuación se reanuda la búsqueda. Pulse el botón APS durante más de 2 segundos para efectuar la búsqueda en la banda seleccionada en el momento; las seis emisoras de mejor señal quedan memorizadas en las distintas posiciones de memoria. Una vez terminado el ciclo de búsqueda y memorización automáticas, la radio se sintoniza en la emisora memorizada en la posición número 1. 2) En modo MP3/WMA DISC, pulse repetidamente el botón APS para seleccionar la búsqueda por pista (TRACK SEARCH), por primer carácter del título (FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH) o por carpeta (DIRECTORY SEARCH). En modo MMC/SD o USB pulse botón repetidamente para seleccionar el modo de búsqueda por pista o por carpeta (TRACK SEARCH / DIRECTORY SEARCH). -5- a) En modo de búsqueda por pista (TRACK SEARCH), la pantalla LCD muestra la indicación “TRK T 000”, donde la indicación “0” correspondiente al número más alto de las pistas incluidas en el CD parpadea. Haga girar el mando del volumen para seleccionar el número de la pista deseada (de 0 a 9) y a continuación pulse el botón SEL para confirmar o para repetir la misma operación con el número de decenas y de unidades. Una vez terminada la selección, pulse el botón SEL para reproducir la pista correspondiente al número seleccionado. b) En modo de búsqueda por primer carácter del título (FIRST CHARACTER SEARCH), la pantalla LCD muestra la indicación “A--...”. Gire el mando VOL para ir visualizando en secuencia las iniciales de todas las pistas y seleccione la pista deseada pulsando >>| y |<<. Pulse SEL para reproducir el archivo deseado. c) En modo de búsqueda por carpeta (DIRECTORY SEARCH), la pantalla muestra la carpeta principal (si no tiene un nombre específico aparece indicada como ROOT). Haga girar el mando VOL para seleccionar la carpeta deseada y pulse los botones >>| o |<< para seleccionar la pista deseada. Por último, pulse SEL para reproducir la pista seleccionada. 7. Botón BD 1) En modo RADIO, pulse brevemente y repetidamente el botón BD para seleccionar la banda de recepción de radio. En modo MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA DISC, pulsando repetidamente el botón BD la pantalla muestra en secuencia el nombre del archivo y el nombre de la carpeta. Si el disco contiene archivos MP3/WMA con etiquetas ID3 en formato 1.0 o 2.0, la pantalla también mostrará en secuencia el título de la pista, el nombre del artista y el del álbum. En modo CD MP3/WMA DISC (reproducción de un disco en formato mixto CD o MP3/WMA), pulsando el botón BD se pasa de la reproducción de las pistas del CD a la de los archivos MP3/WMA. 8. Botón TA (1) El botón TA activa y desactiva el modo TA (información sobre el tráfico). Cuando el modo TA está activo (indicación “TA” presente en la pantalla LCD), el aparato inicia la búsqueda de una emisora TA y en la pantalla LCD aparece durante algunos instantes la indicación “TA SEEK”. Cuando se está transmitiendo información sobre el tráfico: 1) Si el aparato está en modo MMC/SD, USB o CD, pasa automáticamente al modo RADIO. 2) El aparato se conecta temporalmente a una estación EON cuando el sistema EON detecta la transmisión de noticias sobre el tráfico en otro programa. En la pantalla LCD aparece la indicación "TP". 3) Si el nivel del volumen es inferior a 20, aumenta hasta alcanzar el valor 20; al terminar las noticias sobre el tráfico el aparato regresa al modo y al volumen anterior. Si durante el programa informativo sobre el tráfico se regula el volumen, el aparato utilizará el nuevo ajuste solo durante la transmisión de ese programa. * Función de interrupción TA: Este botón permite interrumpir la recepción de la información sobre el tráfico sin desactivar el modo TA. * Mientras el modo TA está activo, las funciones SEEK, SCAN y AUTO MEMORY solo pueden ejecutarse cuando se recibe el código de identificación del programa informativo sobre el tráfico y este código de información no se recibe durante el intervalo especificado. -6- (2) Ejerciendo una presión larga en el botón TA, se conmuta entre EON TA LOCAL o EONTA DISTANCE. El objetivo de esta función consiste en reducir al mínimo la conmutación EON TA, por ejemplo cuando la información EON TA está siendo recibida por la emisora actual y la radio pasa a la emisora EON conectada pero no es capaz de recibir información por encontrarse demasiado lejos. En este caso la radio regresa a la emisora anterior. En el modo de funcionamiento que se acaba de describir, el usuario escuchará un programa distinto o no oirá ningún sonido. 1). Modo EON TA LOCAL: Cuando el nivel de la señal de la emisora EON es inferior al umbral prefijado, la radio no pasa a esta estación y el usuario no percibe interferencias en la transmisión. Cuando el modo EON TA LOCAL está activado, en la pantalla LCD aparece durante algunos segundos la indicación “EON TA LO”. 2). Modo EON TA DISTANCE: La conmutación EON TA se implementa mediante la información de la estación actual. Cuando se selecciona el modo EON TA DISTANCE, en la pantalla LCD aparece durante algunos segundos la indicación “EON TA DX”. 9. Botón PTY Pulse brevemente y repetidamente el botón PTY para seleccionar uno de los siguientes modos: Grupo PTY MUSIC - Grupo PTY SPEECH - PTY OFF La selección de PTY TYPE se efectúa pulsando uno de los seis botones de memoria, de 1 a 6, que corresponden a seis grupos de emisoras. Cuando están activos los modos PTY MUSIC o PTY SPEECH, la pantalla LCD muestra el programa PTY anterior y la indicación PTY. Si no se pulsa ningún botón durante 2 segundos, el aparato busca el PTY anterior. Si durante el primer ciclo no se localiza el PTY deseado, la pantalla muestra el mensaje NO PTY; el aparato regresa al modo de funcionamiento normal y la indicación PTY desaparece de la pantalla LCD. 10. Botón POWER Para encender el aparato, pulse cualquier botón excepto el de expulsión del disco o el de extracción del panel frontal. También puede encender el aparato introduciendo un CD o una tarjeta MMC/SD o conectando un dispositivo de memoria USB. Para apagar el aparato, mantenga presionado durante más de medio segundo el botón POWER. 11. Botón AF Pulsando brevemente el botón AF se activa la función de conmutación AF, que aparece indicada en la pantalla LCD. La pantalla LCD no muestra ninguna indicación AF: la función de conmutación AF está desactivada. La pantalla LCD muestra la indicación AF: la función de conmutación AF está activada, con información RDS. Indicación AF parpadeante: la función de conmutación AF está activada pero todavía no se está recibiendo información RDS. -7- Cuando la función de conmutación AF está activada, la radio controla constantemente el nivel de la señal AF a intervalos que dependen de la intensidad de la señal de la emisora sintonizada (desde algunos minutos para las emisoras de señal fuerte hasta pocos segundos para las de señal débil). Cada vez que se localiza una frecuencia de transmisión alternativa con una señal más potente para la emisora sintonizada, el aparato pasa brevemente a la nueva frecuencia y la pantalla LCD muestra durante 1-2 segundos la indicación “NEW FREQUENCY”. Dado que el tiempo de silenciamiento que se produce al pasar de una frecuencia a la otra es muy breve, en general este paso no resulta perceptible. Cuando la indicación AF parpadea en la pantalla, se efectúa la búsqueda de una estación RDS. Si en la pantalla LCD parpadean las indicaciones AF y TP, solo se efectúa la búsqueda de la emisora que transmite información sobre el tráfico. En modo FM, cuando la función AF está habilitada, las funciones SEEK, SCAN y AUTO-MEMORY solo reciben y memorizan los programas RDS. Ejerciendo una presión larga en el botón AF se pasa al modo REGION ON/OFF. REGIONAL MODE ON: la función AF o PI SEEK se aplica solo en las emisoras provistas del mismo código PI que la emisora actual. (El código PI CODE es examinado durante el control de las frecuencias alternativas AF CHECK). REGIONAL MODE OFF: El código regional en formato de código PI es ignorado durante la función AF o PI SEEK. (Durante el control AF CHECK no se examina el código PI CODE ni el área de cobertura). 12. Botón MUTE Pulse el botón MUTE para llevar a cero o restablecer el sonido durante la reproducción. También puede restablecerlo inmediatamente pulsando los botones MODE, BAND o SEL o haciendo girar el mando VOL. 13. Botones 1-6, TOP, INT, RPT y RDM A) Si desea acceder a una de las emisoras memorizadas, pulse brevemente uno de los botones, de 1 a 6. Si en cambio desea memorizar la emisora sintonizada en el momento, pulse y mantenga presionado durante más de un segundo uno de los botones, de 1 a 6. Los botones de 1 a 6 también permiten seleccionar el modo de recepción PTY, articulado en los siguiente grupos de emisoras: Grupo de programas musicales Grupo de programas hablados PTY OFF 1. POP M, ROCK M 1. NEWS, AFFAIRS, INFO 2. EASY M, LIGHT M 2. SPORT, EDUCATE, DRAMA 3. CLASSICS, OTHER M 3. CULTURE, SCIENCE, VARIED 4. JAZZ, COUNTRY 4. WEATHER, FINANCE, CHILDREN 5. NATION M, OLDIES 5. SOCIAL, RELIGION, PHONE IN 6. FOLK M 6. TRAVEL, LEISURE, DOCUMENT B) En modo MMC/SD, USB o DISC, pulse el botón TOP/>|| para suspender temporalmente la reproducción y púlselo de nuevo para reanudarla. Ejerza una presión larga en TOP para reproducir la primera pista incluida en la tarjeta MMC/SD, en el dispositivo de memoria USB o en el CD. -8- C) En modo MMC/SD o USB, pulsando el botón INT se visualiza brevemente la indicación “M-INT” y se reproducen en secuencia los 10 primeros segundos de cada pista. En modo MP3/WMA o DISC, pulsando el botón INT se visualiza brevemente la indicación “S-INT” y se reproducen en secuencia los 10 primeros segundos de cada pista. En modo MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, pulsando el botón RPT se visualiza la indicación “D-INT” y se reproducen en secuencia los 10 primeros segundos de cada pista. Mientras está activada la función de reproducción en secuencia de los 10 primeros segundos de cada pista, pulse por segunda vez el botón INT para regresar al modo normal de lectura de las pistas en orden progresivo. D) En modo MMC/SD o USB, pulsando brevemente el botón RPT se visualiza la indicación “M-RPT” y se repite continuamente la lectura de la pista actual. En modo MP3/WMA o DISC, pulsando brevemente el botón RPT se visualiza la indicación “S-RPT” y se repite continuamente la lectura de la pista actual. En modo MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, ejerciendo una presión larga en el botón RPT se visualiza la indicación “D-RPT” y se repite continuamente la lectura del contenido de la carpeta actual. Mientras está activada la función de repetición continua de la lectura, pulse por segunda vez el botón RPT para regresar al modo normal de lectura de las pistas en orden progresivo. E) En modo MMC/SD o USB, pulsando brevemente el botón RDM se visualiza la indicación “M-RDM” y se activa la reproducción de las pistas en orden aleatorio. En modo MP3/WMA o DISC, pulsando brevemente el botón RDM se visualiza la indicación “S-RDM” y se activa la reproducción de las pistas en orden aleatorio. En modo MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, ejerciendo una presión larga en el botón RDM se visualiza la indicación “D-RDM” y se activa la reproducción de las pistas incluidas en la carpeta seleccionada actualmente en orden aleatorio. Mientras está activada la función de reproducción en orden aleatorio, pulse por segunda vez el botón RDM para regresar al modo normal de lectura de las pistas en orden progresivo. F) Durante la lectura normal de las pistas en modo MMC/SD, USB o MP3/WMA, los botones M6 y M5 desempeñan respectivamente las funciones de selección de la decena superior o inferior. 14. Botón MODE Pulse el botón MODE para seleccionar el modo de funcionamiento deseado entre RADIO, DISC, CARD (después de haber introducido una tarjeta de memoria), USB (después de haber conectado un dispositivo de memoria con interfaz USB), AUX e iPod (después de haber conectado un iPod™). 15,16. Ranura para tarjeta de memoria y puerto USB Introduzca una tarjeta de memoria MMC/SD en la ranura correspondiente o conecte un dispositivo de memoria USB en el puerto USB. La pantalla mostrará respectivamente las indicaciones “CARD” o “USB”. El aparato seleccionará automáticamente la entrada correspondiente (si se utilizan simultáneamente la ranura y el puerto USB seleccionará la última entrada activada) y empezará a reproducir la primera pista grabada en la tarjeta o en el dispositivo USB. -9- 17. Entrada AUX Este conector permite reproducir por medio del autorradio la señal de cualquier fuente de audio externa dotada de salida estéreo. Para activar la entrada AUX, pulse repetidamente el botón MUDE y regule el nivel del volumen. 18. Botón SCAN Este botón permite efectuar la búsqueda automática de las emisoras. Al pulsar el botón SCAN empieza la búsqueda, que se interrumpe automáticamente nada más sintonizar una emisora provista de una señal suficientemente potente; la indicación de la frecuencia parpadeará mientras tanto en la pantalla. Si se pulsa de nuevo este botón, la búsqueda se interrumpe y la emisora permanece sintonizada; si no se pulsa, al cabo de 5 segundos reanuda nuevamente la búsqueda. 19. Botón CLK 1) Modo RADIO Si el aparato recibe datos RDS, pulse brevemente y repetidamente el botón CLK para visualizar las siguientes opciones: PS NAME > CLOCK > FREQUENCY > PTY > Si el aparato no recibe datos RDS, pulse brevemente y repetidamente el botón CLK para visualizar las siguientes opciones: FREQUENCY > CLOCK > PTY > 2) Modo MMC/SD, USB o DISC Pulse brevemente el botón CLK para visualizar la hora durante 5 segundos y regresar a la visualización normal. 3) Modo de regulación de la hora Mientras visualiza la indicación de la hora, pulse el botón CLK durante más de 1 segundo y regule las horas y los minutos haciendo girar el mando del volumen VOL. 20. Ventana de recepción de infrarrojos del mando a distancia 21. Botón de desenganche del panel frontal extraíble Desenganche el panel frontal pulsando el botón REL y extráigalo del aparato. Nada más extraer el panel frontal, el LED que indica su ausencia empieza a parpadear. 22. Botón de expulsión del disco Para extraer el disco, pulse el botón EJECT mientras el aparato está encendido. 23. Ranura para introducir los discos 24. Toma de conexión para iPod™ Nada más conectar al aparato un iPod™, en su pantalla aparece la indicación “ok to disconnect”, que señala que se ha establecido la conexión. Si no visualiza esta indicación, desconéctelo y conéctelo de nuevo. En modo iPod, pulse el botón APS para activar la función que permite seleccionar las distintas opciones y haga girar el mando del volumen VOL o pulse los botones “+” o “–” para visualizar en secuencia las opciones presentes en el menú en el siguiente orden: Música > Listas reproducción > Artistas > Álbumes > Géneros > Autores Una vez resaltada la opción deseada, pulse el botón SEL y haga girar el mando del volumen VOL o bien pulse los botones “+” o “–" para visualizar en secuencia las opciones secundarias correspondientes. Aplique este procedimiento para seleccionar la pista deseada. - 10 - Las otras funciones operativas del iPod pueden gestionarse mediante los mandos del autorradio de la siguiente manera: Botón >>| : pulsando brevemente = selección de la pista siguiente ejerciendo una presión más larga = búsqueda rápida hacia adelante Botón |<< : pulsando brevemente = selección de la pista anterior ejerciendo una presión más larga = búsqueda rápida hacia atrás Botón M6 : acceso a la decena de pistas superior Botón M5 : acceso a la decena de pistas inferior Botón INT: reproducción en secuencia automática de los 10 primeros segundos de cada pista Botón RPT: repetición continua de la lectura de la pista actual Botón RDM: reproducción de todas las pistas en orden aleatorio Atención: 1. Solo puede utilizarse el cable de conexión incluido de serie. Si se estropea, diríjase el punto de venta donde ha adquirido el autorradio. 25. LED indicador de ausencia de panel frontal Empieza a parpadear nada más extraer el panel frontal y desempeña una función disuasiva antirrobo (el autorradio resulta inutilizable en ausencia del panel frontal). 26. Botón de reiniciación Si después de instalar el aparato la información visualizada en el panel LCD es inexacta o los botones no funcionan correctamente, presione el botón RESET con un objeto puntiagudo antes de empezar a utilizarlo. Los altavoces deben poseer una impedancia de 4 ohmios. 2. No conecte a masa el cable de accionamiento de la antena eléctrica. PRECAUCIONES Y MANTENIMIENTO 1. Si la temperatura en el interior del automóvil es muy elevada, por ejemplo cuando ha permanecido aparcado al sol, no utilice el aparato hasta que haya descendido suficientemente. 2. La funda sirve para transportar y conservar el panel frontal. Funda Panel frontal 3. Antes de efectuar la instalación es necesario comprobar que el equipo eléctrico del vehículo esté provisto de negativo a masa (polo negativo de la batería conectado a una parte metálica del vehículo). 4. Con el fin no sobrecargar o cortocircuitar el amplificador, los cables de los altavoces no deben entrar en contacto cuando el aparato está encendido. 5. Para reiniciar el aparato y restablecer la configuración original, presione con un objeto puntiagudo el botón de reiniciación. Antes de empezar a instalar el aparato, extraiga los dos tornillos de bloqueo del mecanismo. Para volver a montar el panel frontal, introduzca en primer lugar el lado derecho en su sede y presione delicadamente el lado izquierdo para acoplarlo al aparato. Botón de reiniciación Para extraer el panel frontal, pulse el botón de desbloqueo REL situado en él ángulo superior derecho del aparato. - 13 - Para conectar un dispositivo de memoria USB es necesario abrir primero la tapa de protección de la toma USB. Siempre que no se esté utilizando, la toma la tapa debe permanecer cerrada. RESOLUCIÓN DE LOS PROBLEMAS MÁS COMUNES Para resolver los problemas más comunes, consulte la tabla siguiente. Si el problema persiste, consúltelo con el centro de asistencia técnica más cercano. Síntoma Causa Solución El aparato no se enciende. El automóvil no está encendido. Encienda el cuadro del automóvil. El fusible está quemado. Cambie el fusible. No se consigue introducir el CD. El compartimento de los CD contiene ya un disco. Saque el disco e introduzca el que desea escuchar colocando la etiqueta hacia arriba. El CD entra solo hasta la mitad. No se han extraído los dos tornillos de bloqueo del mecanismo. Extraiga los dos tornillos de bloqueo del mecanismo que se encuentran en el armazón del aparato. El CD ha sido introducido al contrario. Introduzca el CD con la etiqueta hacia arriba. El CD está muy sucio o es defectuoso. Limpie el CD o cámbielo. La temperatura en el interior del vehículo es demasiado alta. Espere para permitir que descienda la temperatura en el automóvil. Se ha puesto a cero el volumen. Regule el volumen. Las conexiones no han sido efectuadas correctamente. Controle el cableado. El microprocesador de control de las funciones sufre interferencias. Apague el aparato, espere algunos segundos y vuelva a encenderlo. Si el problema persiste, pulse el botón de reiniciación. El panel frontal no está colocado correctamente. Extráigalo y vuelva a introducirlo en la posición correcta. El aparato ha sido instalado con una inclinación que supera los 30º con respecto al plano horizontal. Reduzca la inclinación del aparato de manera que su posición sea lo más horizontal posible. El suelo de la carretera el muy irregular. Espere hasta que el suelo de la carretera sea más regular y uniforme. El CD está muy sucio o es defectuoso. Limpie el CD o cámbielo. La radio no funciona; no consigue efectuar la búsqueda automática de las emisoras. El cable de la antena no está conectado. Conecte firmemente el cable de la antena. Con la búsqueda automática no se logra sintonizar ninguna emisora En el área de recepción las señales son muy débiles. Recurra al procedimiento de búsqueda manual de las emisoras. No se logra activar algunas de las funciones operativas. Ausencia de sonido. El aparato no responde a los mandos.
