Legacy Features The Netfinity ServeRAID-3HB Ultra2 SCSI Adapter delivers excellent performance and scalability to database and application server environments found in enterprise network computing. Features include: •
Full-length, three-channel PCI RAID adapter supporting up to 45 hard disk drives with RAID levels 0, 1, and 5

32 MB of cache
•
Support for both SCSI-2 (20 MB/sec), Wide Ultra SCSI modes (40 MB/sec), and Ultra2 (80 MB/sec)
•
Data transfer capability of up to 264 MB/second over the PCI bus when installed in servers supporting 64-bit PCI slots such as the Netfinity 7000 M10
•
Contains two industry standard .8-mm VHDCI connectors for attachment of external SCSI enclosures such as Netfinity EXP storage expansion units. By using the Third Channel Cable included with the adapter, the third channel can support an additional data storage unit if not used for internal drive support.

Product Positioning Due to its superior performance and functionality, the Netfinity ServeRAID-3HB Ultra2 SCSI Adapter is positioned above the current Netfinity ServeRAID-3H and -3L Ultra2 SCSI Adapters. This new adapter provides the highest performance RAID functions and distances for SCSI application environments. While Netfinity Fibre Channel products are positioned above Netfinity ServeRAID-3HB Ultra2 SCSI Adapter due to greater performance, distance, and scalability, they are significantly more expensive to purchase and install. The Netfinity ServeRAID-3HB Ultra2 SCSI Adapter is designed for an advanced, mission-critical, enterprise application where performance and massive data storage capability are a must.
