AC Brushless Motor Rotary Hammer Series *2 *3
» ULTRA EFFICIENT
Brushless Motor Technology
» » » »
Longer product life Extended durability Eliminates carbon brush maintenance Allows for long extension cords to be used without power loss issues » Reduces the risk of internal electric component damage
Conventional commutator motor
» SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE when using a generator
» Internal inverter circuit regulates uneven power supply from standard gasoline generators

Exter
EXTERNALLY Hammers with Aluminum bodies are more resistant to jobsite impacts and harsh conditions than their plastic counterparts.
INTERNALLY Incorporating a plastic stator holder around the Brushless motor provides the internal double insulation construction that can protect the user from electric shock.
AHB construction significantly enhances the internal and external durability of the tool.
Motor
Plastic stator holder
The motor and hammer bearings are seated in the metal housing to reduce vibration and stress, and increases stability. During use, the metal body keeps the internal gears secure and aligned preventing wear and power loss.
Aluminium die-cast body
*2 A comparison of the model DH 52MEY and the previous model DH 50MRY. Mean value for drilling into concrete with drill bits between 16mm and 52mm diameters. The results may vary depending on operating conditions. *3 A comparison of the model DH 52MEY and the previous model DH 50MRY. The results may vary depending on operating conditions.
Additionally- the metal body dissipates heat better, increasing overall motor life.

A
on MEY Models Patented User Vibration Protection Technology » One of the most advanced vibration protection systems on the market today.
*4
Counteraction Vibration direction of the main body
n o i t a r b i V r e w o L » Hitachi’s technology implements an internal counterbalance mechanism that move in the opposite direction of the main body.
Leaf spring
» This, in addition to a shock absorbing handle that employs by transatory unit and Neidhardt spring, results in significantly reduced full-load tri-axial vibration transfer to the user and can reduce the risk of developing a vibration-related injury due to prolonged exposure.
Push Button Rotation Speed Selector » Four power levels of impact and rotation speed to match the application
Built-in Protection Circuit
d e v o r g p n i l m I Hand
» Prevents damage to the tool in the event of an abnormality. Display lamp will flash and the tool will cease to operate, until steps are taken and the tool is reset.
- Power Regulator Function: One of the top two bars will flash if temperature reaches specified range. - Temperature Increase Protection Function: All bars will flash if the temperature exceeds the limit. - Overload Protection Function: Bottom three bars will flash if excessive pressure is applied. - Circuit Protection Function: Bottom two bars will flash if voltage is too high or too low. - Control Monitoring Function: Bottom bar will flash if there is a sensor error.
Larger Change Lever » On top of the tool for easy access - rotates for hammer drilling or hammer only - with a neutral position to assist in a range of applications and transitions. In neutral, a variable lock mechanism allows for 12-angle positions for optimal working angle options.
Continuous Operation Button » Located at the base of the handle (available in hammer mode only) keeps the tool running even after the trigger switch is released for less fatigue when chiseling for extended periods.
Weight
Quick Release Bit System » Easily install a bit by inserting it into the bit holder, push the bit in and turn until it drops into place and locks. To remove the bit, simply pull the grip sleeve on the bit holder back and hold, remove the bit.
Larger Trigger Switch » For more control and better grip.
Only on DH45 and DH52 models
Power Indicator Light » Automatically illuminates when connected to a power source for convenience to the user.
l a n o ti res i d d A Featu Idle Strike Restrictor
» Prevents additional wear on the tools by preventing no-load activation.
Constant Speed Control » Power is increased under load to keep speed constant for smooth drilling.
Soft, Non-slip Elastomer Grip » Handles covered in soft, non-slip elastomer grip for improved comfort and control.
Needle Pin Slip Clutch » Disengages the gears immediately if a bit binds (such as on rebar) to prevent the tool from whipping around.
Includes » Depth stopper rod, 360° adjustable removeable side handle, grease and a durable case for easy transport and storage.
