Keep the surge protection wires as short as possible to increase the response time and effectiveness. 1. Turn off main breaker. Neutral 2. Remove the front cover from the electrical panel. Bus 3. Remove a knockout from the electrical panel. 4. Mount the unit through the knockout to the side of the electrical panel. 4.1 Remove the retaining ring on the unit. 4.2 Feed the wires into the electrical panel. 4.3 Re-secure the retaining ring. 5. Route the green wire to the grounding lug and secure. 6. Connect the two black wires to the closest two-pole breaker. 7. Close cover on the panel.

ELECTRICAL PANEL INSTALLATION Keep the surge protection wires as short as possible to increase the response time and effectiveness. 1. Turn off main breaker. Neutral 2. Remove the front cover from the electrical panel. Bus 3. Remove a knockout from the electrical panel. 4. Mount the unit through the knockout to the side of the electrical panel. 4.1 Remove the retaining ring on the unit. 4.2 Feed the wires into the electrical panel. 4.3 Re-secure the retaining ring. 5. Route the green wire to the grounding lug and secure. 6. Connect the two black wires to the closest two-pole breaker. 7. Close cover on the panel.
