quickly, quietly and dependably. The FPi 500 tabletop inserter is your perfect mail handler. A compact tabletop inserting system that delivers high performance in a small package and fits into every office. The FPi 500 pays for itself even in offices that mail just 50 letters a day. Folding and inserting letters can take a good 30 minutes of your time, while the FPi 500 does the job in just 3 minutes at the press of a button, loading letters, envelopes and supplements into the corresponding stations. Follow the straightforward instructions in the display and the FPi 500 is ready to go to work, folding and inserting your mail, it even seals the finished envelopes! The FPi 500 easily handles your outgoing correspondence. Everything from post-card sized mailings to standard business correspondence. The daily-mailing mode can select, fold and insert five pages into a single envelope, what’s more with three automatic feeder stations (two document and one supplement station) the FPi 500 delivers maximum flexibility. Each station can hold 100 sheets of paper and for non-stop operation the two document stations can be switched to tandem mode, working without interruption even when the other station is empty -
reload without stopping the machine! Perfect for flyers and brochures. Promotional mail? No problem! Get the most out of postage weight limits by using the supplement feeder to add pre-folded or envelope-shaped flyers, cards or reply-envelopes. The FPi 500 can fold and insert up to 1,350 letters an hour. Disengage the inserting function to use the FPi 500 as a paper-folding machine.
FPi2000 series The FPi 2000 series of table-top mail inserters will win you over with its ease of operation and reliability. The system can fold documents of various sizes to fit into C6, DL and C5 envelopes. The series lends itself to a variety of applications – be it the daily miscellaneous mail to multi-part mass mailings. Small formats, pre-folded materials, reply cards or return envelopes can be added to letters quickly and easily. Designed for small to moderate quantities of mail and remarkably quiet in operation (according to sound emission standard ISO 11203). The FPi 2000 series delivers an innovative design adapted to meeting your individual mailing needs. Up to three automatic feeder stations provide maximum versatility and capacity. FPi 2015 features one automatic A4 document station that feeds material page by page. A second automatic station feeds enclosures (for example letter, flyer plus reply vehicle: up to A5). FPi 2020 is equipped with two automatic A4 document stations which can be set up to feed A4 formats as well as envelope shaped enclosures (brochures, flyers, reply cards or envelopes). FPi 2025 consists of two automatic A4 document stations plus an enclosure feeder for assembling multi-part mailings (for example letter, flyer plus reply vehicle; up to A5). Each model includes a manual feed for handling the daily mail. It enables the operator to feed up to five sheets of paper (loose or stapled) by hand and add automatically-fed contents, if desired. Inserters equipped with more than one document station can be set up for uninterrupted operation when processing high-volume single-item mailings with or without enclosure. When one station empties, the other station starts automatically, enabling the first to be refilled without pause. Each automatic document station can be set to feed several sheets per envelope. Feed, fold and insert up to three sheets per job, or up to five sheets when using OMR.
Options Automatic optical mark recognition (OMR). The inserter can read coded marks on the documents to reliably determine the number and sequence of documents intended for a single addressee. Especially useful for mailing multi-page invoices. High-volume envelope hopper eases the collection of finished envelopes.
FPi4030&4030S user friendly operating concept An outstanding feature of the FPi 4030 range is the machine’s user friendly operating concept. Its clever design enables you to make effective use of the full range of features at a minimum effort: Colour touch screen - simply by touching the display you can navigate through the menus quickly and carry out any adjustments, the FPi 4030 and 4030s needs only 3 “real” keys. 20 freely programmable jobs provide quick and easy access to those settings that are used frequently. You can switch between 14 languages. The filling level of the water tank is visible at any time, the envelope sealer can be enabled or disabled easily to suit your needs. Informative menus and detailed error messages offer comprehensive diagnostics possibilities. The clamshell design allows easy access to all paper paths. Located above the display is an area suitable for sorting and aligning letter stacks. Daily Mail Using this function you can process documents which are not suited for automatic processing, for instance stapled documents. Feeder-swap As soon as a feeder is empty, the system will automatically switch to another feeder while you are reloading documents, enabling continuous work. Eight in One The folding device can fold up to 8 sheets simultaneously.
Fill & start The system can detect document and envelope format as well as the required folding settings automatically. This way, you can process simple jobs quickly without the need for time consuming adjustments. Fold only You can also use the FPi 4030 and 4030s for its flexible document folding only option. Automatic paper stops The collator is equipped with automatic paper stops which ensure optimum processing of different paper formats. Real sheet control The FPi 4030 and 4030s features an electromechanical double feed detection which reliably measures the paper thickness upon feed-in from the stations. FPi 4030s The Special Feeder only available on the FPi 4030s is designed for the feeding of more difficult types of inserts for example very glossy mailers and leaflets as well as thicker booklets, etc OMR Optionally the FPi 4030 and 4030s can be equipped with an OMR function (Optical Mark Recognition). OMR controls the processing of documents and enclosures by means of a printed barcode. If you are currently working with an existing OMR system of another provider, you can order the FPi 4030 and 4030s with flexible reading. This allows adaptation to different OMR codes.

series
quickly, quietly and dependably The FPi 5000 series of folder inserters are FP’s most versatile range of medium to high volume machines. The FPi 5000 series handles A4, 14inch to complement slip sized forms, C6, DL or C5 envelopes and has the capacity to cope with the widest range of mailings. The FPi 5000 series has intelligence and ease of use and is available in 2, 4 or 6 station versions with a variety of feeder options enabling the system to fold and insert the widest range of mailings imaginable - booklets, glossy brochures, letterheads, reply paid envelopes, stapled forms, card inserts can all be processed with the minimum of operator intervention.
FPi 5020 has two document feeders with the “S” version providing one mechanical separation feeder for thicker items. FPi 5040 has four document feeders with the “S” version providing two mechanical separation feeders. FPi 5060 has six document feeders with the “S” version providing two mechanical separation feeders.
