The HD transmission of informations is in accordance with the Belden 8281 standard (transmissions up to 120 meters) and Belden 1694A (transmissions up to 200 meter), while the transmission of SD informations supports the lengths of coax cable up to 300m (Belden 8281 standard) or up to 400m (Belden 1694A standard). The special feature that distinguish IDT-H1 from the similar products is its Initra IVDRC (intelligent detection and direction of video informations) system function, which allows you The possibility of connecting the present incoming/outgoing video signal to the output of the local or complementary module. This makes the the testing of already finished transmission path a lot easier and in case of a loss of one video signal this feature still enables the presence of real time video signal on all connectors. The device supports the transmission of data in both directions with the exchange of informations taking place in real time, which makes IDT-H1 the optimal solution in building dynamic video systems (such as scattered studio broadcasting). IDT-H1 is adapted to the exchange of SD-SDI informations with bit rate between 143 Mbps and 540 Mbps in accordance to the SMPTE 259M/344M standard and the exchange of HD-SDI informations in accordance to the SMPTE292E standard, which supports the standard bit rate of 1485 Mbps for the purpose of transmitting high definition video signal. Features FEATURES IDT Series Modules page 2 IDT-H1 Description IDT-H1 module includes a built in auto correction and compensation of signal losses in transmissions over coax, it also includes the length diagnostics of coax cable. Through our software interface InitraSetup the user is able to set an alarm informing him about the presence of video informations and is also able to set message limits for different signal levels. This feature can be used on both the optical and coax interfaces on the device. Description DESCRIPTION The IDT-H1 module comes in two designs, one is with the standard SFP transceiver/receiver interfaces. But if you plan on connecting more locations in a single network then we offer you the option with a built in SFP interfaces that support the WDM (CWDM or DWDM) transmission technology. With the use of the WDM interfaces you get the ability of joining more signal paths into one optical fiber. In this case the module then works as a multiplexer (transciving module) and demultiplexer (receiver). All transcieving and receiving SFP optical units are also manufactured the way that they support digital diagnostics and interface control (DDMI). The device automatically recognizes the installed SFP optical interface and adapts its operating and diagnostics accordingly. IDT-H1 module offers a broad set of informations about the operation of the device and about the data that's gets transferred through it; it includes the measurements of the module`s temperature, indication of the slot that the module is located in, option of inputting textual comments for the module itself and also for each individual communication path, the option of setting limits for alarm reporting of statuses for inputs and state of the device, diagnostics of built in GPIO inputs and outputs and the determining the integrated module location. Insight in general informations about individual modules reveals the more important factory data and the overview of users text inputs. IDT-H1 occupies in the IDT-K1 system casing one communication slot. SOFTWARE INTERFACE Beside all the standard sets of measurements, that are present in the IDT modules, the IDT-H1 also includes diagnostics of the losses in coax cable which connects digital video informations to the device`s input (measurement of coax cable length). It includes the diagnostics of optical interface and the diagnostics of the presence of digital video data from the optical part.
