A folding bike with standard geometry and riding position. Single-action, 5-second fold, no tools required and no parts need to be removed. Folds as small as a folding bike with 16" wheels. Never place your hands and fingers inside the following folding part / mechanism. 3 IF Reach owner manual Assembly Procedures Step 1: Opening the box – (1) a 99% assembled IF Reach, (2) seat / seat post, (3) pedals. 4 IF Reach owner manual Step 2: With IF Reach on your, begin by raising the handle bars to close the stem hinge. Secure the stem hinge by rotating the locking lever toward the stem. Note: Be sure to check the stem hinge is locked in place and secure. 5 IF Reach owner manual Step 3: To unfold the IF Reach; place your left hand on the handle bar left grip with right hand holding the top tube near the seat tube. Move your right hand away from you and then back in a clockwise motion and your left hand slightly pushing the frame forward. 6 IF Reach owner manual Step 3 (continued): Use your right palm to push the top tube by the seat tube to put the frame into position. Secure the frame together by rotating the frame locking lever forward and down into the front connector. Securely lock the locking lever in place by securing the quick release clamp into the closed position. Caution: Keep your hand away from folding areas! Note: Do not grasp the rod when rotating, possible fingers trapping. 7 IF Reach owner manual Step 4: Insert seat post to seat tube and clamp. Assemble the seat onto seat post. Step 5: Install the pedals. Turn the right pedal clock-wise and the left pedal counterclockwise to tighten. Note: Do not raise the seat post higher than the minimum insertion mark (the upper one). 8 IF Reach owner manual How to fold. Press pedals outer body inward toward frame and rotate body upward to fold compact. With an open hand press the locking lever toward the frame and upward. While standing on the left side of the bike; open the quick release lever. Rotate the locking lever toward the rear of the bike to release the tension in the locking system. IF Reach owner manual How to fold .. Begin with your left hand on the left handle bar grip and your right hand on the saddle. The frame will hinge open by pulling your left hand toward you and either pushing away with your right hand or holding the rear in place. Rock the frame upward with your right hand and pull the front backward and together in one motion so the wheels meet and the magnet catches. 10 IF Reach owner manual How to fold … To make the bike more compact open the seat post quick release and push the seat post into the frame. Fold the handle bar to the side by opening the stem locking lever. Rotate the lever rearward to release. Return the stem locking lever back forward against the stem when the handle bars are folded. 11 IF Reach owner manual Roll when folded / sit the bike The frame hinge can be used as a hand hold to roll the bike along during transport. The saddle can also be used as a hand hold to roll the bike along during transport. To rest the frame on the ground; lower frame so the front wheel, rear wheel and saddle create 3 points of contact for the frame to be supported. 12 IF Reach owner manual How to unfold Reposition the handle bar raising the handle bars to close the stem hinge. Secure the stem hinge by rotating the locking lever toward the stem. To unfold the IF Reach; place your left hand on the handle bar left grip with right hand holding the saddle. Move your right hand away from you and then back in a clockwise motion and your left hand pushing the frame forward. 13 IF Reach owner manual How to unfold … Secure the frame together by rotating the frame locking lever forward and down into the front connector. Note: Do not grasp the rod when rotating, possible fingers trapping. Securely lock the locking lever in place by securing the quick release clamp into the closed position. Caution: Keep your hand away from folding areas! Finally, raise the seat post to the desired height and secure in place by closing the quick release lever. Note: Do not raise the seat beyond the minimum insertion marks.
