Never touch or attempt to service electrical equipment, including the filter when your body and/ or the ground is wet. Electrocution or permanent injury due to high voltage (120V AC) could result. The pool should be bonded in accordance with Section 680-26 of the National Electical Code. For further assistance contact your dealer or a local licensed electrician. Do not use pool during electrical or rain storms. 12. SAFETY ROPE & POLE Keep a safety rope 1/4" by 50" with a flotation buoy with an outside diamter of 15". In order for the IFS (Integrity Fence System) to work on your pool, the proper kit needs to be ordered and installed. The following considerations should be taken into account when ordering and installing your IFS. · · · · Does the pool have a metal or resin upright? As per the following instruction, each type of upright requires its own post holder. Please make sure that you have the correct post holder for your style of pool upright or the fence will not be installed securely. What model pool is the fence going onto? Each brand of pool has different spacing between the pool uprights, requiring different fence section lengths. Your kit needs to come with the correct length parts for your pool. How many uprights are on the pool? The number of fence sections supplied needs to match to your pool. Are you installing fence only on your pool or fence and deck? The number of sections and the length of fence section changes if you are installing a deck onto your pool. Please follow the step by step instructions to properly install and secure your IFS. If you are missing any parts or have any questions please contact the dealer where you purchased your fence system. It is important that the owner of the pool determines if the fence being installed meets all local codes. The owner is responsible for finding out if the fence meets all local codes. Every state, town, village, municipality may have its own codes that the pool owner has to comply with. STEP 1: INSTALL THE POST HOLDER ONTO THE UPRIGHTS See the exploded assembly view below. The holes for attaching the Post Holder to the Upright must be measured and drilled as PER the instructions show. The post holder must be attached to the pool Upright before the upright is installed on the pool. After the pool is installed then you can go back and install the Fence Post and the Fence Sections. THIS STEP MUST BE DONE BEFORE THE UPRIGHTS ARE INSTALLED ON THE POOL Resin Upright Steel Upright Upright 9-7/8" * 5/8" typ.
