iGo Smartscope! The iGo Smartscope is a wireless microscope designed to work with Apple and Android devices. Yes, this means that you can use it on your smart phone! It is a wi-fi broadcasting device that can transmit 200’ and connect to 30 different devices at the same time! The Scope is a 200x lens with the capability of taking pictures and even has its own light source. To make it work: Note the number written on the inside of the scope where the batteries are kept (usually a letter and 3 or 4 numbers.) Turn on iGo Scope. Turn on iPad. Go to the settings app. Click on wi-fi settings. When you see the number written on your Scope, click it. Every iPad should click the same number in the class, unless using multiple scopes. A check mark should appear. The password is 12345678. Press the home button. Find the app called “wi-viewer” and open it. At the bottom left hand part of the screen you will see an on button, press it. The Scope’s image should show up. Turn the big blue wheel at the end of scope to focus. Above this focus is the button to press to take pictures. The small wheel under the scope adjusts Focus the lighting. Picture button Lens Light adjuster Power button (on back)
