iMainGo ™ for your iPod® Small system. HUGE SOUND! Welcome to iMainGo, the best friend your iPod® ever had. Get ready to enjoy room-filling sound from iMainGo’s advanced digital electronics. Using non-iPod devices with iMainGo Setting up your iMainGo 1. Unzip your iMainGo. Although specifically designed for the iPod, iMainGo does work with other MP3, MP4, cell phones and portable gaming devices. However, using an overpowered device will cause damage to the iMainGo and void its warranty. 2. Install four AAA batteries (not included, alkaline are recommended). Be sure to orient them properly. Troubleshooting 3. Unstrap and remove the iPod compartment (including the plastic and foam inserts). 4. Find the insert that fits your style iPod and place your iPod in it. The largest iPods require only the plastic insert or no insert. Additional foam inserts (for the newer iPods) are located in the bottom of the box. Like any high quality electronic stereo device, each iMainGo is individually hand tested before it leaves the factory. In the rare instance that your iMainGo does not function properly, please refer to the following trouble-shooting list: Symptom/Solution: 5. Make sure the “Hold” switch on your iPod is in the “Off” position so your iPod isn’t locked. No volume 6. Place your iPod in its insert (if needed) facing up in the com partment with the headphone jack at the bottom. iMainGo does not work 7. Plug the iMainGo into the iPod’s headphone jack. 8. Place the iPod and its insert (if needed) into the iMainGo. Secure it with the strap. Turn up iPod volume or turn iMainGo switch to “MUSIC” position. iPod needs to be charged or iMainGo batteries need replacement (alkaline recommended). The iMainGo is designed to turn off at very low battery levels in order to prevent poor quality sound. iMainGo still does not work 9. Move the switch to the “MUSIC” position, zip your iMainGo closed and you’re ready to enjoy your iPod like never before. Reinsert batteries, checking for proper orientation. 10. Attach the optional carry strap (located in the bottom of the box) by looping it through the “D” ring located on the non-zipper side of the iMainGo. Decrease iPod volume or replace batteries. Sound is distorted Sound is still distorted The original recording is of poor quality. Music volume decreases, skips or distorts Replace batteries Playing your iPod Your iPod shows in the iMainGo touch sensitive window so you control it just like you usually do. The difference is that the sound is fantastic, you’re not tied to earphones, and your iPod is protected by iMainGo’s solid construction. Because of iMainGo’s sophisticated electronics, batteries can last as long as 30 hours of play. But to ensure you get the most of them, be sure to turn your iMainGo off when you’re not using it.
