Rev. 7/05 IMP-BASE Impala Seat Bolt Base Plate Mount Installation Instructions 1. Remove all four (4) front seat track mounting bolts from the rear of the seat tracks. Tilt the seats slightly forward and position the base between the floor pan and the seat tracks. The top of the base should point towards the front of the car. Align the holes in the base with the holes in the floor pan. 2. Lower the seat tracks back into position and replace the seat track bolts. 3. Place the base plate onto the rear mount bracket, positioning the base plate as required and aligning the closest set of holes in the rear bracket with the holes in the base plate. Fasten the base plate to the rear mount bracket with 5/16” bolts and washers supplied. 4. Remove the plastic trim caps from the inner seat track front on both seats. Position base plate front mounting legs at the front edge of the seat tracks. The notches in the mounting legs point to the rear of the vehicle and go around the seat tracks. 5. Attach the front legs to the base plate, inserting the 3/8 bolts and lock washers provided through the holes in the base plate and into the pems in the mount legs. 6. Attach the mounting legs to the front seat frame support, using 3/8” hex head sheet metal screws through the holes in the base of the mounting leg. Tighten all bolts.
