For relatively simple devices that have been around over 100 years, thermionic valves (a.k.a. tubes) are incredibly mysterious little buggers. Each and every one literally has its own personality. And some are nicer than others. So we buy boatloads of tubes and meticulously test each one. For electronic
tolerances, microphonics, continuity over time and of course tone (by plugging every one into an amp and listening to it). We then sort preamp triodes into five and power amp pentodes into eight categories, and handmatch the survivors into pairs for even performance and long life expectancy. Bottom line: For every ten tubes we buy, only one makes the cut and becomes A-graded for sensitive V1 stages. We build our own speakers. It ain’t easy. A guitar cabinet and the speaker(s) inside is a musical instrument in its own right.

Having to buy somebody else’s speakers severely limits tonal options. So we made the mondo investment it takes to build
wind our own voice coils, stamp our own suspensions, machine our own back plates, hand-assemble and test each speaker. It’s an important part of why BUGERA combos and cabs sound so good. High tech design for classic tone.

don’t apologize for using circuit boards…because when done right, it’s the best way to minimize noise and maximize durability. Months of R&D time have gone into the design and placement of multiple circuit boards dedicated to each amp section; internal cabling has been planned out in the same careful manner. These
modern improvements let us deliver amps that achieve all the classic, vintage tones but with far less of the classic vintage buzz, whine and hum. Picky picky picky. Our obsession starts with tubes and ends with one of the most rigorous testing programs of any amplifier manufacturer. Literally every fourth technician in the BUGERA factory is a Quality Control Inspector. Every
head and combo undergoes a battery of tests at each stage of assembly. Finally, each amp is burned in, calibrated and tested by a guitarist. Yes, a highly skilled guitarist actually plays through every single amp*. Then, and only then, do they earn the name BUGERA. All of these advanced manufacturing methods, old school design and loving care that goes into building BUGERA, means you get a rock-solid amp that can take years of hard use. They can swing both ways. Many of our amps can be configured to operate in either 6L6 or EL34 mode, enabling your sound to migrate east of the Atlantic ocean to the west coast of the USA. Reconfiguration requires installing the new tubes, which are not provided, flipping a single switch and adjusting the bias voltage. ur goal with the 6260 head and 6260-212 O combo was the tone of a high power vintage amp but with all the great modifications added by the greatest players and techs over decades — a culmination of endless tweaks. With 6L6’s this design has a very open and glassy tone, with EL34’s it takes on a more compressed and noticeable midrange character. The Clean channel is very flexible. • With the master up and using the Clean gain knob for volume, you get a pristine clean sound — no distortion, just fat clean power. • Turning the master and gain up together causes the amp to react like a non-master volume amp. • Turning Clean channel gain up achieves a very natural sounding overdrive — what we call “Texas Clean.” The amp will react sharply to changes in volume or attack from the instrument. • The Crunch setting is simply the clean channel with more gain from another 12AX7 to create the Rock’n’Roll rhythm sound heard on all your classic rock favs. • The Bright switch helps darker sounding instruments cut through and really shines when using a hollow or semi-hollow body guitar. The Lead channel is all about gain and sustain. It has a more cuttingedge tone so solos will cut thru the band with ease. Separate master volumes allow for easy rhythm-clean/ solo-lead switching with total control over the level of each sound.

rangey” making them perfect for 80’s rock/metal amp — tons of midrange and gain. The real difference is in control …you get full control of EQ, Presence & Reverb on both channels. A lot of amp manufacturers call their Treble/Mid/Bass knobs “tone” controls. We call ours EQ because we spent a lot of time making sure that they each have a unique character. Treble really screams; Mid puts you about six rows into the audience; Low can add more growl than an angry Kodiak bear. The Presence control is tailored to smooth out your tone or add enough bite to cut through any cymbal. It can bring new life to darker sounding instruments. Like several other BUGERA models the 6262 /6262-212 have a modern studio digital reverb. We did that intentionally to avoid unwanted rumble from “vintage” springs when you’re on a heavily vibrating stage. We auditioned literally hundreds of 24-bit reverb patches and finally settled on a favorite that we like to use for both lead and rhythm playing. The result is way more versatile and usable.

he 333 / 333-212 are cutting-edge, modern Tsituation style amps fully featured for use in any or genre. The name says it all 3,3,3… three fully independent channels for three fully independent gain structures and tone stacks. • A totally clean Clean channel that won’t break up… great for jazz, country, blues and also great as a fat clean power base for players using external boxes for their OD and distortion. • The Crunch channel can work as a “halfway dirty” sound for rock and blues if you crank the volume and use the gain as your volume. or shine as the heavy rhythm channel for a metal rig if you crank the gain. • The Lead channel has the same structure as the crunch channel but with access to more gain. Each of these channels has its own volume feeding the overall master volume so you have total control over the level of each. The boost option of the FX loop allows you to set each channel at the same volume and then boost or cut the volume of the entire amp no matter what channel is selected — you can finally boost your rhythm or clean tone (yes, clean solos do happen). We call the EQ section “HYPER-ACTIVE” because it allows for unlimited tone shaping and big scooped out metal tones via the midrange control. You have to hear this to appreciate how much more control you can get.

and 333XL-212 are quite similar to Thethe333XL 333 Series, but with four key additions:
• Overall active Presence control • EL34 power tubes for a more compressed, tighter midrange. • Noise gate on Lead channel. This is an ANALOGUE gate that will never close or shut you off in a clean passage. It is frequencyselected to decrease high frequency noise and hiss without changing your tone and it works loads better than a lot of competitors’ gates. • XL switch on Crunch and Lead Channels. The XL function will add more “chunk” to your sound. You can add some thunder to the combo version to more emulate a 412 cab, thicken the sound of single coil pickups or add sustain to single note melodic passages. After that, this design is much like the 333 with three fully independent channels: A totally Clean channel that won’t break up, a Crunch channel for a “halfway dirty” rock and blues tone (if you crank the volume and use the gain as your volume…or shine as the heavy rhythm channel for metal with the gain cranked), and a Lead channel with the same structure as the Crunch channel but with access to more gain. Each of these channels has its own volume feeding the overall master volume so you have total control over the level of each.
