ALL SAFETY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD BE READ BEFORE OPERATING THE CLOCK. AUTOSET R TECHNOLOGY Simply plug the clock into the mains socket and the correct time is displayed. How does Autoset Technology work ? The time is set during production and the clock is fitted with a 3V button cell battery which enables the clock to store the Autoset time when unplugged or not in use. Note: The Autoset time will be lost if the 3V button cell battery is removed from the clock. If the Autoset time is lost please see 'Manually setting the time' page 2. Time (-) Button Time (+) Button TO START THE CLOCK Plug the power cord into a standard household outlet and the correct time is displayed. SUMMER/WINTER TIME CHANGES (Last Sunday in March & October) To save having to reset the time at the change of Summer/Winter time, your clock will automatically adjust to Summer/Winter time if the DST (daylight saving time) feature is ON. Note: The clock is already set to DST ON and will automatically adjust to Summer/Winter time. 1 TO RESET THE CLOCK Press the little black reset button next to the button cell battery, after a few seconds the display will show 24H 0:00, now set the time manually and secure the new settings. BUTT RESET BUTTON TO VIEW THE ALARM TIME Press the Snooze button (4) once. TO VIEW THE DATE AND YEAR Press the '+' button once to display the date. Press the '-' button once to display the year. TO SET THE TIME MANUALLY If the Autoset time is lost or incorrect you can set the time manually. Press the DST/SET button (3) for 5 seconds and the year will start to flash, Immediately Press '+' or '-' to set the year. Press DST/SET button once again and the month will flash Press '+' or '-' to set the month. Press the DST/SET button once again and the date will start to flash Press '+' or '-' to set the date. Press the DST/SET button once again and the hour will start to flash Press '+' or '-' to set the hour. Press the DST/SET button once again and the minutes will start to flash Press '+' or '-' to set the minutes. Press DST/SET button once again and 24HR icon will start to flash Press '+' or '-' to select either 24HR or 12HR format. Press the DST/SET button once again to secure and store the new settings. TO REPLACE THE BUTTON CELL BATTERY The button cell battery 'CR2032' (3V) should be replaced every 2 years to maintain the Autoset time feature. Remove the compartment cover at the back of the clock, inside at the back of the compartment, turn the button battery cover anti-clockwise to open. Replace the button cell battery and 'reset' the clock (see page 3 for 'reset'). OPEN THE COMPARTMENT COVER AT THE BACK OF CLOCK IN THE DIRECTION OF ARROW BUTTON CELL BATTERY TO N COVER OPEN/C L 2 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS - CELL BAT 3V RY TE N O ALARM AND SNOOZE When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE button (4) and the alarm will stop and sound again approximately 9 minutes later or alternatively press the ALARM button once to stop and reset the alarm for the next day. SE O TO TURN ON/OFF OR CHECK STATUS OF DST FEATURE (Daylight saving time) Press DST button once to see the current DST setting 'don' is DST ON and the time will automatically adjust between Summer/Winter time. 'dof' is DST OFF and the time will not change at Summer/Winter time. TO TURN ON/OFF THE ALARM Slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch (1) to the alarm ON position or Slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch (1) to the alarm OFF position Note: The Alarm indicator (8) will display when the alarm is turned ON. TUR 14337 & 14403 AUTOSET LED ALARM CLOCK Thank you for your purchase of this quality clock. SETTING THE ALARM Press the ALARM button (2) once, press either + or - to set the hour. Press the ALARM button (2) once again, press either + or - to set the minutes. Note: The PM indicator (7) will appear on the display for PM time. TROUBLE SHOOTING If the Autoset time is incorrect 1) Set the time manually and secure the new settings or 2) Replace the button cell battery, press reset and set the time manually. If the Autoset time is lost or the display is blank when plugged in 1) Press reset, set the time manually and secure the new settings or 2) Replace the button cell battery, press reset and set the time manually. MAINTENANCE A soft paper towel may be used to clean the clock. Do not use corrosive cleaners or chemical solutions on the clock. Keep the clock clean and dry to avoid any problems. YOUR GUARANTEE Your clock is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase against any faults arising from defective materials or manufacture. Damage caused through careless handling, misuse or in transit is expressly excluded. Should this clock fail within 12 months please return it in the first instance to your retailer.
