Thank you for purchasing Dovetail Games Euro Fishing! This information will help you get started quickly and easily. Dovetail Games Euro Fishing is Steam powered. To install Euro Fishing you will need to download Steam. Steam is a programme which will manage and activate your software.
GETTING STARTED
Getting Started
To download Steam, please visit store.steampowered.com/about and click the green ‘Install Steam Now’ button. It won’t cost anything or require any card details.
Installation You will need to create a Steam account to activate and safeguard your personal copy of Euro Fishing. Note: You must be logged on as an administrator (particularly for Windows Vista and Windows 7 users) and be connected to the Internet to install Euro Fishing – otherwise the installation will not work. 1. After installation of Steam, launch the program from your PC desktop or Start menu. 2. With Steam open, on the bottom-left corner, click on ‘+ADD A GAME’. 3. A small menu will appear. Click on ‘Activate a product on Steam’. 4. A pop-up will appear. Click ‘Next’. 5. The Steam User Agreement will appear. If you are happy with the agreement click ‘I Agree’. 6. A box will open for you to enter the game code printed on the card found in this box. Carefully type in your code exactly as it appears. Your code is unique to you and can only be activated once. 7. Once your code is entered, click ‘Next’ and Euro Fishing will automatically install. 8. To play Euro Fishing, go to Steam and click on ‘Library’ at the top, and select ‘All Games’ from the dropdown menu. Euro Fishing will appear in the left-hand list; simply double-click on it, or right click on it and select ‘Play Game’. Alternatively, if you opted to add a desktop icon for Euro Fishing during the installation, you can double-click on the icon to play the game.

Whether you’re a fishing beginner or angling pro, there’s a challenge for every player. Start by learning the basics of casting in our Fishing Academy or dive straight into one of the five unique lakes and land the big catch. When you are ready, compete against friends and opponents in our fishing tournaments.

Game Modes
Go Fishing Test yourself against the elements in this pure fishing experience. Relax and master your technique without time pressure or competition on one of the five lakes. Each venue has its own unique characteristics, tactics and equipment.
Academy Learn everything you need to know to become an expert angler in the Fishing Academy. The in-game academy has five tutorials that will take you through the basics of casting and reeling, before teaching you how to use multiple rods and the advantages of each. By the time you have completed the academy, you should be ready for any challenge thrown at you!
Live Tournament Live Tournaments are online competitions that are available for a limited time. Compete against other anglers to reach the top of the rankings. Live Tournaments are hosted by Dovetail Games Euro Fishing and each have their own set of rules. Enter competitions and beat players from all around the world!
Multiplayer Fish online with friends and other anglers around the world. Please note that your game settings may change in multiplayer mode. Multiplayer allows you to compete and have a social experience with up to seven other friends all around the same lake. You can communicate with other players using our in-game chat (text) box. 5
