Using the Opticon H-series service engineers can balance a variation of resources across different locations, as well as access secure information to keep them on the move between jobs. Opticon terminals offer a full connectivity suite through the built in GSM, GPRS and 3G network support providing cellular communication capabilities to any mobile workforce. Workers out in the field can access local hotspots with the built in Wi-Fi capability to make sure they are constantly kept up to date, no matter where they are located. Onboard 1D, 2D and RFID scanning capabilities provides users with the ability to collect data at any time, while the integrated 3.2 megapixel camera allows mobile workers to capture clear images of any field location. These pictures can then be uploaded to a central location and geographically tagged using the GPS capability in real-time. The continuous exchange of information from one place to another will inevitably speed up response times and significantly increase the level of service technicians and on site workers provide.
