IN3058 1-In 8-Out S-Video Distribution Amplifier FEATURES • Amplifies NTSC, PAL or SECAM Signals in the S-Video (Y/C) Format • Allows the Signal from One S-Video Source to Drive Up to Eight Video Displays Simultaneously • Output Signal Compatible with Video Monitors, Projectors, S-Video The IN3058 is a high performance analog video distribution amplifier designed for SVideo signals. This unit features separate amplification circuitry for the chroma and luma video signal components. 4-Pin mini DIN connectors are provided for input and outputs, allowing direct connection of S-Video signals. Eight S-Video Outputs- The IN3058 is commonly used to split the S-Video output signal from a single video source such as a Laser Disc Player, S-VHS VCR, or Document Camera out to multiple monitors, display devices, VCRs, or video printers. Multiple IN3058 distribution amplifiers can be looped together to provide additional outputs. S-Video or Composite Video-The IN3058 is compatible with S-Video input signals in NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards. The unit may also be used to amplify and distribute one or two separate composite video signals if IN9093 adapters (4-Pin mini DIN male to 2-BNC female) are used on the input and outputs. VCRs, Hi-8 VCRs and Other Video Devices with S-Video Inputs • Separate Amplifiers for Chroma and Luma • Internal Gain Controls with Adjustment Range of .9 to 2.5 • 100 MHz Video Bandwidth • 4-Pin Mini DIN Input and Output Connectors • Durable Metal Case Enclosure High Quality Amplification -Featuring video bandwidth performance of over 100 MHz, the IN3058 allows for excellent performance with any S-Video signal. The amplifier offers sufficient bandpass for use with high resolution monochrome video sources. SPECIFICATIONS Adjustable Gain Controls- The IN3058 includes separate gain controls for the chroma and luma signals (internal) which may be adjusted to compensate for signal loss caused by long cable runs. Coax Cables: The Key to Performance - It is important to use high quality S-Video cables such as the IN9096 on all input and output connections. Low cost S-Video cables often do not use coaxial cable construction, and provide poor performance at distances greater than 6 to 12 feet. A better choice is an S-Video cable fabricated with two mini-coax cables. A pair of ultra-high resolution coaxial cables such as the IN7200-1 Series is recommended to carry the Y/C signal components on extremely long cable runs. The IN9093 S-Video male to 2-BNC female adapters may be used to adapt regular BNC cables to the IN3058 input and output connectors. Featuring a durable metal case and high performance, the IN3058 offers an excellent solution for corporate, industrial, and professional A/V installations requiring a reliable, high performance SVideo distribution amplifier.
