Plug the micro-B end of the included charging cable into the charge port on your Power Wallet’s interface. Charge Indicator Button Press this button to see how much of a charge your Power Wallet has left. Micro-USB Charge Port Connect your Power Wallet to a USB port with the included USB charging cable. 2. Plug the other end of the charger into the corresponding USB port on any computer or USB wall adapter (not included). 3. As you charge your Power Wallet, the LED status lights on the control panel of the wallet will let you know how much backup power is currently in your battery. Average charge time to fully charge your Power Wallet is about 5 hours. 4. Once your battery is fully charged, unplug your wallet and the USB cable. CHARGE STATUS LIGHTS - CHARGING AMOUNT OF CHARGE First light blinking 5%-25% First light solid, second blinking. 25%-50% Second light solid, third light blinking. 50%-75% All three lights solid. 75%-100% SETUP YOUR POWER WALLET FOR YOUR PHONE Before going out with your new Power Wallet, connect the charging adapter that connects the smartphone of your choice so you will have your wallet ready to back you up when you need it. PHONE MODEL When you need to charge your phone on the go, plug the connector that corresponds to the smartphone that you use into the charging port on the phone. Micro-B Inside Wallet Micro-B Inside Wallet Android and Windows Phones Micro-B Inside Wallet B iPhone 5 and later models* iPhone Lightning Cable* B iPhone 4 and Earlier Models 1. Connect the Micro-B USB cable inside of your Power Wallet to the 32-pin iPhone connector included with your Power Wallet. iPhone 5 and Later Models 1. Connect the Micro-B USB cable inside of your Power Wallet to the Phone Charger Adapter included with your Power Wallet. 2. Then connect an Apple Lightning Cable* to the Phone Charger Adapter. Android and Windows Phones 1. If your phone uses a Micro-B USB connection, you can simply plug the Micro-B USB cable inside of your Power Wallet to your phone’s charging port. TIP STEP 1 If you need help selecting the correct charger connection, refer to the previous panel. B iPhone 4s and earlier models CHARGER CONNECTION CHARGING YOUR PHONE WITH POWER WALLET Don’t see your phone model listed? If your phone uses a USB cable for charging, you can use the iPhone 5 and later models configuration from the table above, but use the USB charging cable supplied with your phone to charge it with your Power Wallet. * Apple’s Lightning cable is not included with your Power Wallet. You must use the Lightning Cable that came with your iPhone or a third party lightning cable. STEP 2 After you have plugged your phone into your Power Wallet, the Charge Status Lights on your Power Wallets control panel will start to flash in succession. If you do not see any of these charge indicators, check your wallet’s available power using the instructions in the next panel or check the connection between your phone and Power Wallet. TIP When you plug in your phone to your Power Wallet, make sure to check your phone to confirm it is receiving a charge. STEP 3 You can keep your phone inside your Power Wallet inside the charging pocket while your phone is being charged. CHECK YOUR POWER WALLET’S CHARGE Easily check how much backup power you have left in your Power Wallet’s mobile battery. Press the Charge Indicator button on the control panel of your wallet and the blue LED charge status lights will let you know how much of a charge you have left. STATUS LIGHT INDICATOR CHARGE LEFT No lights blinking 5%-25% One light blinking 25%-50% One light solid, second light blinking 50%-75% (one phone charge) All three lights solid 75%-100% (two phone charges) IMPORTANT This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. If there is any damage to the battery such as dents, punctures, tears, deformities or corrosion, due to any cause, discontinue use and contact manufacturer or dispose of it in an appropriate manner at your local battery recycling center. • Do not disassemble this battery or attempt to repair or modify it in any manner. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Incorrect reassembly may result in shock or fire hazard. • Do not expose this battery to moisture, rain, water, snow, spray or submerge it in liquid. Keep battery dry at all times. • Do not attempt to charge battery using any method, apparatus or connection other than the device’s USB connector. • Never charge device unattended. • When used correctly, Lithium-ion rechargeable batteries provide a safe, and dependable source of portable power. However, if they are misused or abused, this may result in leakage, burns, fire or explosion/disassembly, causing personal injury or damage to other devices. • All batteries have gone through a thorough quality assurance inspection. If you find that your battery is excessively hot, is emitting odor, is deformed, abraded, cut or is experiencing or demonstrating an abnormal phenomenon, immediately stop all battery use and contact manufacturer. • For extended storage, first charge your battery for one hour. • Never dispose of batteries in the garbage. Disposal of batteries in the garbage is unlawful under state and federal environmental laws and regulations. Always take used batteries to your local battery-recycling center. • In the unlikely event of leakage or explosion use sand or a chemical fire extinguisher. • Batteries must be recycled and disposed of properly.
