1. Please turn off the VGA output device and VGA displays. 2. Connect local VGA display (It will be master display. Its parameter(EDID) will be saved in RAN-CSE-VA 304/08/16T and referred by VGA output device.) and speaker to “VGA/AUDIO OUT” port of RAN-CSE_VA304/08/16T. 3. Connect “VGA/AUDIO IN” port of RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T to VGA out and audio out ports of a PC or VGA output device with VGA(male to female) cable and audio cable. Version 4

4. Connect remote VGA display and speaker to “VGA OUT” and “AUDIO OUT” ports of RAN-CE-VA301R or RAN-CE-VA180R. 5. Connect the “RJ-45 VGA/AUDIO OUT” port of RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T to “SYSTEM LINK” port of RAN-CE-VA301R or RAN-CE-VA180R with Cat5e/6 cable (1:1 pin-out, recommend 24AWG STP Solid). 6. Connect DC 5V power adapter to RAN-CE-VA301R or AC 7.5V power adapter to RAN-CE-VA180R and DC 5V power adapter to RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T. 7. Turn on your VGA displays and VGA output device. 8. Tune the “FOCUS” and “GAIN” of RAN-CE-VA301R or “EQ” of RAN-CE-VA180R to get optimum video quality. 9. The “ACTIVE” LED indicates an active VGA signal. The orange LED of RJ45 jacks indicates powered and the green LED indicates an active VGA signal.
Cascade: 1. From “VGA/AUDIO OUT”: Connect “VGA/AUDIO OUT” port of upstream RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T to “VGA/AUDIO IN” port of downstream RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T with VGA(male to female) and audio cables. 2. From “RJ-45 VGA/AUDIO OUT”: Connect “RJ-45 VGA/AUDIO OUT” port of upstream RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T or RAN-CSE-VA304/08TR to “RJ-45 VGA/AUDIO IN” port of downstream RAN-CSE-VA304/08TR with Cat5e/6 cable (1:1 pin-out, recommend 24AWG STP Solid). 3. Through RAN-CE-VA301R or RAN-CE-VA180R to downstream RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T: Connect “VGA OUT” and “AUDIO OUT” ports of RAN-CE-VA301R with VGA(male to female) cable and audio cable or RAN-CE-VA180R to “VGA/AUDIO IN” port of downstream RAN-CSE-VA304/08/16T. 4. Power on sequence: display, downstream, upstream and the last the VGA output device. 5. Tuning sequence: upstream, downstream
Remarks: 1.
Please read this manual carefully before installing the splitter.

Please use high quality Cat5e/6, VGA and audio cables for optimum operation. If the RGB delay skew is too big, please use our CAT5 VGA EXTENSION cable (Item# CWIN-UTP24) or BELDEN CAT5E cable(Item# 1700A) to improve.

To prevent potential power damage, please use 3-wire power cords for PC and monitors and ensure AC outlets at PC and monitors are on the same phase and have correct grounding.
