Ceiling thickness tolerances Max 40.9 mm (1.60 in)
Min 0.9 mm (0.035 in)
1. Unpack speaker & set aside grille assembly.
Tile bridge
2. Use included tile bridge to mark cutout in tile.
Hole Diameters CM42-EZs 165.1 mm (6.50 in)

3. Use Rotozip or other tool to cut hole.
Min .00 mm (.00 in)
4. Thread signal wires thru flexible conduit clamp. Connect wires with wire nuts.
1. Unpack speaker & set aside grille assembly.
2. Use included tile bridge to mark cutout in sheetrock.
3. Use Rotozip or other tool to cut hole. Hole Diameters CM-EZ-42 165.1 mm (6.50 in)
CM62-EZs, CM62-EZ, CM82-EZ 266.7 mm (10.50 in)
4. Thread signal wires thru flexible conduit clamp. Connect wires with wire nuts.
1. Nail or screw bracket to joists. Secure conduit/signal wire away from hole in bracket.
2. Complete Finish work.
3. Use Rotozip or other tool to cut hole.
5. Push terminated tap wires into backcan. Push flexible conduit clamp into backcan and tighten clamp onto conduit.
6. If required, attach the seismic restraint system to the sheet-metal tab on the rear panel of the speaker (safety cable not included).
7. Insert speaker into mounting hole with installation aid in place. Screw down both bolts on the baffle face to actuate the mounting wings. Firmly secure both bolts – do not over-tighten.
9. Select the tap position by adjusting rotary switch to desired high impedance value or voice coil direct mode.
10. Attach grille seismic restraint to baffle. Press grille into place.
11. Done!

8. Once all painting and finish work is completed, remove the paint mask.
