Dieses Handbuch unterliegt keinem Änderungsdienst. 1.1.1 Inspecta 2-4 Unterschiede INSPECTA-2/3 sind lange PCI Frame Grabber. Sie unterscheiden sich durch den A/D Wandler. INSPECTA-3 verwendet einen 3-Kanal Hochgeschwindigkeits A/D Wandler mit 60/100Mhz Abtastrate. INSPECTA-3 unterstützt nicht die analog 5:6:5 R:G:B Kameramodi des INSPECTA-2. Ansonsten sind INSPECTA-2/3 zusammen mit der Treibersoftware ab Version 2.35 identisch. INSPECTA-4 ist ein kurzer PCI Frame Grabber den es in verschiedenen Versionen für analoge Kameras (INSPECTA-4A) für digitale Kameras (INSPECTA-4D) und für Camera-Link Kameras (INSPECTA-4C) gibt. INSPECTA-4 hat keine Erweiterungsmöglichkeit für einen vierten Kamerakanal und unterstützt nicht die multiplane modi des INSPECTA-2/3. Ansonsten ist INSPECTA-4 zusammen mit der Treibersoftware ab Version 2.35 für den Systemintegrator identisch zum INSPECTA-2/3. 1.2 Markenrechte Microsoft und Phar Lap sind geschützte Markenzeichen der jeweiligen Firmen. INSPECTA-M kann bis zu vier Kameras gleichzeitig grabben. Der Bildspeicher ist der Hauptspeicher des PCs. Ein PCI-Bus-Master Cotroller kann Video Daten im Burst-Mode bei einem PCI-Clock pro DWORD in den Hauptspeicher übertragen. (>100Mbyte/sec maximale Datenrate.) Der BusMaster Controller arbeitet 2-dimensional und kann bis zu 4GB Hauptspeicher linear und ohne CPU Aktivitäten adressieren. Die Speicherung der Daten erfolgt - unabhängig für jeden der vier Kanäle - zeilenorientiert. Mit jedem Zeilenimpuls wird der zugehörige Zeilenzähler inkrementiert. Gleichzeitig wird aus einem statischen RAM die Anfangsadresse im Bildspeicher ausgelesen. Das RAM kann von der Treibersoftware zu jedem beliebigen Zeitpunkt neu geschrieben werden. Die Zeilentabelle definiert die Anordnung der Zeilen im Bildspeicher. Das De-Interlacing (einsortieren von Halbbildern in ein Vollbild)und die Speicherung von unten nach oben (für Bildgeber die die letzte Zeile zuerst auslesen) wird durch entsprechendes Belegen der Zeilentabelle realisiert. Bei vier Kanälen können je Kanal direkt 4096 Zeilen im Bildspeicher beliebig verteilt werden. Bei einem Kanal entsprechend 16380 Zeilen. 2.1.1 Linescan Kameras INSPECTA-M kann mit Zeilenkameras arbeiten und das dazu nötige Start of Scan Signal (SOS) erzeugen. Ein Taktzähler teilt den Pixeltakt programmierbar in Schritten von 32 Takten bis zu 8191. Daraus wird ein Start of Scan Signal ( SOS ) generiert und am digitalen und anlogen Kameraanschluß herausgeführt. Es ist 16 Pixel-Takte lang. 2.2 Kamerainterface Bild 1 zeigt den Aufbau von INSPECTA. Auf der linken Seite ist das Kamerainterface gezeichnet. Es enthält drei A/D Wandler, einen digitalen Video-Eingang und je vier Opto- gekoppelte Signal Ein- /Ausgänge. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Seite 11 INSPECTA Hardware Rev. 1.87 Hardware 2K * 32 FIFO Bild 1 2.2.1 Analog Video An zwei 15-pol. D-Sub Steckern können bis zu sechs analoge Videoquellen mit den zugehörigen Synchronisationsund Taktsignalen angeschlossen werden. Ein 2:1 Selector leitet die Signale auf drei Video A/D Wandler und die Logik zur Verarbeitung der Synchronisations- und Taktsignale. Es können drei Videosignale gleichzeitig aufgezeichnet werden (z.B.: bei RGB-Farbkameras) die dann aber zueinander synchron sein müssen. Kameras können im Master- oder im Slave Modus betrieben werden. Im Master- Modus werden die Synchronisations-Signale entweder aus dem analogen Video-Signal extrahiert oder separat zugeführt. Im Slave-Modus werden die Synchronisations-Signale vom Kamera-Interface KIM2010 nach RS-170 (525 Zeilen) oder CCIR (625 Zeilen) Norm erzeugt, und damit die angeschlossenen Kameras synchronisiert. Sowohl im Master als auch im Slave Modus kann der Pixel-Takt von einer der Kameras (ein Eingang je Stecker)oder vom der INSPECTA kommen. Im letzteren Fall stehen maximal vier Frequenzen zur Verfügung: 12.5Mhz, 25Mhz, 14.1875Mhz, oder 28.37Mhz. Wenn im Master-Modus kein Pixel-Takt zur Verfügung steht, wird eines der fünf internen Taktsignale mit dem aus dem Video-Signal extrahierten horizontalen Sync synchronisiert. Je Anschlußstecker kann eines von drei VideoSignalen oder ein zusätzlicher Composite-Sync-Eingang als Sync-Quelle ausgewählt werden. Der Phasen-Jitter des synchronisierten Taktes zum horizontalen Sync beträgt maximal ¼ Taktzeit. Die Synchronisation wird zu Beginn einer jeden Zeile wiederholt. Innerhalb der Zeile wird mit dem durch den Quarz-Oszillator gelieferten Takt praktisch ohne meßbaren Jitter abgetastet. Zusätzliche Kamerafunktionen (z.B.: Shutter, Integration)werden mit vier unabhängigen TTL- Signalen gesteuert. Sie sind über jeweils eigene Leitungstreiber an beide Stecker P1 und P2 aufgelegt. 2.2.2 Digital Video a) INSPECTA-3: _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Seite 12 INSPECTA Hardware Rev. 1.87 Hardware Digitale Videosignale werden über den Stecker X3 angelegt. Insgesamt 32 Datenbits, zwei Line-Data-Valid (LDV), Frame-Data-Valid (FDV) und zwei Pixel Clock (max. 40Mhz.) Signale kommen von den Kameras. Vier single-ended TTL-Signale steuern die Kameras. Es sind dies die gleichen Signale, wie sie an den analogen Steckern anliegen. Die (optionale) RS-422 Line Receiver Karte M422 wandelt bis zu 24-Bit RS-422 Signale mit schnellen ( 80 Mhz. ) RS-422 Receivern in TTL Signale um. Die Anstiegs- und Abfallzeiten können dann beliebig lang sein. Opto Eingang 0 wird auch als Hardware Trigger für asynchrone Shutter Kameras verwendet (mvfg_Snapx ( 4, x, x )). Ab IMP-Nr >700 (Inspecta-2/3/4A) und Treiber Version > 3.07 (Inspecta-4D/C) ist dieser Hardware Trigger flankengesteuert und reagiert auf die steigende Flanke (Leuchtdiode im Koppler wird bestromt). Um Mehrfachauslösungen zu vermeiden wird dieser Eingang mit dem HD Signal der angeschlossenen Kamera nachsynchronisiert. Es muss daher auch mindestens für die Zeit einer Kamerazeile anliegen (typ. 64us). Es wird empfohlen die An- und Abstiegsflanken des Steuersignals nicht grösser als 1 us zu halten. Opto Eingang 1 und 2 dienen beim Inspecta-4D/C als Eingang für den Encoder zur Steuerung einer Zeilenkamera. Dadurch werden Zeilenkameras je nach Typ mit ein oder zwei Exposure- und ggfls einem externen Taktsignal versorgt. Ein externes Triggersignal wird wie bei Flächenkameras über das Bit 0 des opto gekoppelten Eingangs eingespeist. Zeilenkameras werden oft mit einem externen Encoder betrieben, der für eine Anpassung an unterschiedliche Transportgeschwindigkeiten sorgt. Beim Inspecta-3 und beim Inspecta-4A wird ein Encoder direkt am Exposure Eingang der Kamera angeschlossen. Inspecta-4D und Inspecta-4C haben einen zuschaltbaren Quadratur-Decoder für Encoder mit zwei phasenverschobenen Ausgängen. Dadurch kann die Ortsauflösung vervierfacht, eine Unterscheidung zwischen Vor- und Rückwärtslauf getroffen und eine Hysterese gewählt werden. (siehe Beschreibung mvfg_linescan () im Software Handbuch). Ein Encoder wird an Inspecta-4D und Inspecta-4C über den Opto-Eingang 1 und zwei angeschlossen. Einkanalige Encodersignale werden nur am Opto-Eingang 2 angeschlossen. 2.7 Inbetriebnahme INSPECTA unter DOS Die Inbetriebnahme erfolgt am einfachsten unter Zuhilfenahme folgender Komponenten: - Pentium Motherboard von Mikrotron spezifiziert - mindestens 8MB Hautspeicher - INSPECTA - VGA Karte, Festplatte Danach wird eine Video Kamera (wenn vorhanden) mit der INSPECTA verbunden und das Programm ICAM gestartet. 2.7.1 Testprogramm ICAM.EXE Im Testprogramm ICAM.EXE können sämtliche Kamera-Modi ausgewählt werden, und die zugehörigen Parameter verändert werden. Ein Mauszeiger kann das dargestellte Fenster im gesamten Bildspeicher horizontal und vertikal bewegen, und die jeweilige Helligkeit am Mauszeiger darstellen. Nach dem Start von ICAM wird der Bildschirm in den VGA Grafik Modus 12h, der 640 x 480 Bildpunkte mit 16 Graustufen geschaltet. Dieses Grafikformat ist relativ langsam und hat nur eine eingeschränkte Auflösung von 16 Graustufen. Es wurde gewählt, weil es in allen IBM kompatiblen VGAs implementiert ist. Andere hochauflösendere und schnellere Modi können innerhalb ICAM gewählt werden. Die Kommandobezeichnung erscheint nach dem Zahlenfeld. Nach dem Start von ICAM wird hier die Größe des Bildspeichers in Bytes Hexadezimal angezeigt. Die Kommandos werden durch Buchstaben angewählt, die zugehörigen Parameter mit der „+“ oder „-“ Taste erhöht oder erniedrigt. Für die Kommandos „m“ und „D“ kann auch ein 3-ziffriger Hex Wert eingegeben werden, der mit „enter“ abgeschlossen wird. Das folgende 4-stellige Zahlenfeld mit der Bezeichnung c=000000XX zeigt den Helligkeitswert am Mauscursor an. Mit der Maus kann neben dem Cursor der angezeigte Bildausschnitt im gesamten Bildspeicher verschoben werden. Der Kommandovorrat sind die Buchstaben des Alphabets. Die Verkleinerung erfolgt durch zyklisches weglassen von Pixel/ Zeilen. Der Bildausschnitt bleibt gleich, sodaß die Bilder verkleinert untereinander und nebeneinander dargestellt werden. Im Z-modus 2 kann durch Anwahl von negativen V-Werten (FFFE - FFF5 mit der „-“ taste) auch vergrößert werden. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Seite 42 INSPECTA Hardware Rev. 1.87 Hardware Das d-Kommando wählt verschiedene Spezialfunktionen an d=1 (mvga)funktioniert nur im Z-mode = 0. Es bildet die Differenz der Grauwerte von gleichen Pixeln in aufeinanderfolgenden Bildern. Die Differenz wird als Punktfarbe für jedes Pixel angezeigt. (schwarz, blau=1, grün=2, cyan=3 usw für immer heller werdende Farben). Mit der Delta-Funktion ist eine schnelle qualitative Aussage über das Rauschen einer Kamera möglich. d =2 (mfg_runlength(), nur in ICAM.asm enthalten) errechnet eine sog. run-length liste und zeigt das Ergebnis im Bild an. Dabei werden alle Bildpunkte auf über- oder unterschreiten eines Helligkeitswertes von 128 überprüft. Die herausgefundenen Adressenpaare werden gespeichert und im Bild als heller Punkt (überschreiten) bzw. dunkler Punkt (unterschreiten) eingetragen. d=3 entspricht d = 2, wobei der Vorgang 64 mal wiederholt, und die verbrauchte Zeit im msec angezeigt wird. Das m-Kommando (mfg_modcam) wählt die Video-Signalquelle (Testbild, Analog, Digital), die Sync-Quelle (intern, extern, composite) und die Clock-Quelle (intern, extern) aus. Zusätzlich werden alle für das Bildformat und die A/D Wandlung notwendigen Parameter aus den Vorbelegungen in MVFGDRVA gesetzt. Bei einer beliebigen (vor allem analogen) Kamera werden diese Vorbelegungen nicht mit den Daten der Kamera übereinstimmen. Die Ermittlung der tatsächlichen Werte erfolgt mit den Kommandos: e, n, l, b, w, x, y. Die so ermittelten Werte werden dann in der Applikation verwendet. Im Anhang C sind die Kameramodi angegeben. Wenn für einen gewählten Modus keine oder die falsche Kamera angeschlossen ist, erscheint das Testbild. Das n-Kommando verändert die globale variable linelen und ruft die Funktion h_start auf und stellt so die Anzahl Pixel pro Zeile ein. Dazu wird vorher durch das b-Kommando die Schwarzschulterunterdrückung auf 0 gesetzt. Danach wird durch Erhöhen oder Erniedrigen des n-Wertes (linelen)das Bild so eingestellt, daß bei Interlace Kameras kein Zeilenversatz zu sehen ist. Danach wird mit dem b-Kommando die vordere Schwarzschulter entfernt. Das b-Kommando (mfg_blank)entfernt schwarze Pixel am Anfang der Zeile. Das l-Kommando verändert die globale variable numlin und ruft die Funktion h_start auf und stellt so die Anzahl Zeilen pro Bild ein. Dies sorgt bei Interlace Kameras für richtige Einsortierung der geraden und ungeraden Zeilen. Der Wert von numlin beinhaltet die schwarzen Zeilen am Beginn und am Ende des Bildes. Das e-Kommando verändert die globale variable mfg_blacklines und ruft die Funktion h_start auf und stellt so die Anzahl schwarzer Zeilen am Anfang des Bildes ein. Das w-Kommando (mfg_whitelevel)verändert die Weiß-Schwelle des A/D Wandlers. Das x-Kommando (mfg_blacklevel)verändert die Schwarz-Schwelle des A/D Wandlers. Das y-Kommando (mfg_synclevel)verändert die Sync- Abtrenn- Schwelle des A/D Wandlers. Das t-Kommando shuttert eine triggerbare Kamera (Modes 16h, 17h, 8Ch, 9Ch, ACh, BCh ). Wenn zugleich shUttime = 0 (u-Kommando), wird die Triggerzeit von der Kamera gesteuert, ansonsten vom Rechner. Das a-Kommando (mfg_pal)schaltet zwischen europäischer (625 Zeilen/ 50Hz.)und amerikanischer (525 Zeilen/ 60Hz.)Norm um. Das s-Kommando (mfg_selframe)schaltet die Art der Bildspeicherung um. s>= 0 setzt die Zeilen - Start - Tabelle (h_start)so, daß nur der Bereich des Bildspeichers beschrieben wird, der ab der Adresse beginnt, die durch das Produkt aus der Bildgröße und s (pel_frm * s)gegeben ist.. s=-1 schaltet den rotierenden Modus ein. Es werden zyklisch hintereinander soviele Bilder in den Speicher geschrieben, wie hineinpassen. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ Seite 43 INSPECTA Hardware Rev. 1.87 Hardware Das u-Kommando (mfg_photo)stellt die Belichtungszeit in vielfachen von 63 usec (modes 8Ch, 9Ch, ACh, BCh)oder in vielfachen von msec. (mode 17h)ein. Das i-Kommando (mfg_integration)wählt die Anzahl Bilder aus, über die die Belichtung integriert werden soll. Während die Integration läuft, findet keine Bilddarstellung statt. Das g-Kommando (mfg_bmp)schreibt einen File vom gespeicherten Bild in 8 Bit Graustufen oder 24 Bit Echtfarbe (wenn mode = 78h, D0h, oder E0h ). Ein neuer File wird jedesmal geschrieben, wenn im g-Kommando die „+“ Taste gedrückt wird. Der Filename beginnt mit mvfg, dann folgt ein vierstelliger Bildzähler (hex)der vor jedem neuen Aufruf von ICAM bei 0 beginnt, und der Endung .bmp. Beispiel: mvfg000A.bmp ist das 10. Bild einer Serie. Der Bildzähler wird bei jedem Aufruf von ICAM auf 0 gestellt. Das o-Kommando liest den am parallelen Eingang liegenden Wert (0Fh wenn offen!) und schreibt ihn auf den parallelen Port. Das j-Kommando läßt analog zum e-Kommando eine Einstellung eventuell am Ende des Bildes befindlicher schwarzer Zeilen zu, sodaß diese nicht abgespeichert werden. Das k-Kommando wird mit „+“ aktiviert und zeigt im linken Zahlenfeld die X-Koordinaten und im rechten Zahlenfeld die Y-Koordinaten des Mauszeigers.
