INSTRUCTION BULLETIN No. 340024 Machine: 5700 Published: 11-96/00 System: SCRUBBING NOTE: DO NOT DISCARD the Parts List from the Instruction Bulletin. Place the Parts List in the appropriate place in your machine manual for future reference. Retaining the Parts List will make it easier to reorder individual parts and will save you the cost of ordering an entire kit. NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis ( ) are reference numbers for parts listed in Bill of Materials. Installation Instructions for Kit number 370114 SYNOPSIS / PROBLEM: This kit contains the parts needed to install a new style vacuum fan filter on the model 5700 scrubber. Please follow step-by-step instructions. SPECIAL TOOLS / CONSIDERATIONS: None (Estimated time to complete: 1/2 hour) INSTALLATION: (Refer to FIG. 1 and 2) FOR SAFETY: Before leaving or servicing machine, stop on level surface and set parking brake. Then turn off machine and remove key. 1. Raise the solution tank and engage the prop arm. (Refer to FIG. 1 and 2) 2. Remove the the old filter from the mount hole. Discard the old filter. (Refer to FIG. 1 and 2) 3. Install the new filter (1) in the 4”x 6”opening on the right side of the recovery tank. (Refer to FIG. 1 and 2) NOTE: The pleats on the new filter face down. (Refer to FIG. 1 and 2) 4. Disengage the prop arm and lower the solution tank. The machine is ready to work. (Refer to FIG. 1 and 2) NOTE: Always clean the new filter by blowing low pressure air from the metal screen side to the pleated side, then use low pressure cold water to rinse any remaining debris in the same direction.
