Bluetooth Cable Eliminator (TX Only) Interconnection Diagram Step by Step Instructions: 1. Remove the serial cable that runs from the terminal to the pole display. 2. Attach the DB9 splitter cable to the terminal. 3. Connect the pole display to either DB9 Male of the splitter cable securing with 2 HEX NUTS. 4. Attach the ADAPTER_POS2DVR_TX_DB9_F -M adapter to the remaining DB9 Male of the splitter securing with 2 HEX NUTS. 5. Set the switch of the first bluetooth module to the “DCE” position, then attach the module to the remaining end of the ADAPTER_POS2DVR_TX_DB9_F -M with a HEX NUT AND tighten the thumbscrew. 6. Attach the small end of the USB cable to the module, and the large end to a standard USB port on the terminal. DO NOT CONNECT TO A 12V OR 24V USB PORT! 7. Install the gender changer on the “Serial In” connector of the text inserter (use a flat-head screwdriver to tighten the hex nuts.) 8. Set the switch on the second bluetooth module to the “DTE” position, and attach the module to the gender changer, and tighten the thumbscrew (the module will be upside down) 9. Attach the power supply to the module, and plug the supply into AC power. 10. Refer to the Text Inserter installation sheet for the remaining steps.
