Use steel base (C) as a template to mark location of holes on mounting surface. Drill four holes using a 9/32'' drill bit in a square formation, with steel base (C) facing the front, as shown below. In the center of the square formation drill 2" to 3" cord management hole through mounting surface.

WARNING • Wooden mounting surface requires a minimum of 3/4" thickness to hold screen securely

If the desk thickness is between 3/4" to 1" use 1/4-20 x 1.5" threaded rods (N). If the desk thickness is between 3/4" to 2-3/8" use 1/4-20 x 3" threaded rods (O). Turn base (C) upside down and insert four threaded rods (N or O) into base (C), as shown below. NOTE: Threaded rods must fasten a minimum of three turns. NOTE: If enhanced security is desired, use three drops of loc-tite 271 thread lock adhesive (R) along 1/4" at the end of each threaded rod. Insert adhesive end of threaded rods (N or O) into bottom of base (C).

Turn base (C) upside down and insert support tube (A). Place thrust washer (H) onto support tube (A) as shown below.

Swivel Restriction Refering to fig. 4.1 and 4.2, select the desired swivel degree. Fasten two set screws (M) where indicated below to 4 the outside of desired angle in steel base (C). NOTE: Set screw (M) must be bottomed out into steel base (C).

Line up backer plate (B) with threaded rods (N or O).

Line up base assembly (step 5), through supporting surface. Using four fender washers (T) and four 1/4 - 20 lock nuts (P) tighten in numbered pattern as shown in Figure 6.1. At minimum 1/4 - 20 locknuts (P) should be flush with bottom of threaded rods (N or O) and no less than. For added security replace two of the washers and locknuts with slope nuts. Hand tighten slope nuts (I) onto two of the thread rods (N or O) till snug against bottom of table as shown in Figure 6.2. Thread another slope nut (I) upsidedown, about two turns from first slope nut (I) as shown in Detail 1. Insert a 5/8" open box wrench between both slope nuts (I) and tighten. NOTE: Avoid jamming both slope nuts (I) together, doing so may make it difficult to remove slope nut used for tightening. After slope nut is secure remove bottom slope nut. NOTE: If enhanced security is desired, use two drops of loc-tite 271 thread lock adhesive (R) on the threads of each 1/4 - 20 locknut (P).

Support box (F) is adjustable up to 6" at 1" increments. For best results, have bottom of screen close to desktop but not touching. Slide support box (F) onto support tube (A) as shown in fig 7.1. Attach support box to support tube using two 1/4 - 20 x 1/2 phillips screws (J) and two split washers (X) through support box (F) and support tube (A), as shown in fig. 7.2.

Hand thread two M6 x 12 mm washer head screws (W) into the two top holes of support box (F) as shown in figure 8.1, and leave 3/16" of thread visible as shown in Detail 2. Hook adapter plate (G) onto top two M6 x 12 mm washer head screws (W). Fasten bottom two M6 x 12 mm washer head screws (W) to secure adapter plate to support box as shown in figure 8.2. Tighten all fasteners.

Attach left bracket (E) to plasma using two M8 x 16 mm socket button screw (U) or a combination of two M6 x 20 mm socket screws (K) two flat washers (V) and one 1/4" spacer (L) as shown below. NOTE: Use 5 mm allen wrench to fasten M8 x 16 mm button screw (U). NOTE: 1/4" spacer (L) is used only on left bracket with the M6 x 20 mm socket screw (K) to compensate for bump-in portion of screen. Attach right bracket (D) to plasma using two M8 x 16 mm socket button screw (U) or a combination of two M6 x 20 mm socket screws (K) and two flat washers (V) as shown below.

NOTE: To continue installation, two keys need to be retrieved from General Manager of property. Screen cannot be installed without them. Insert keys into bottom of locks and rotate to the unlocked position as shown in figure 10.1. Keys are not removable in open position.

NOTE: Locks must be in open position to continue installation. Hook vertical brackets (D and E) onto adapter plate (G) engaging adapter pins as shown in detail 2. Rotate keys to locked position and remove keys as shown in figure 10.2.
