Installation to Wood Stud Wall
WARNING • Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.
1
Using a stud finder, locate and mark the edges of the wood stud used in mounting this product. Use of an edge to edge stud finder is highly recommended. Use a level to draw a level, vertical line down the center of the stud. Mark a point on the stud centerline 2.75" (70 mm) up from center of screen. Mark two points on the stud centerline, exactly 1.5" (38 mm) and 5" (127 mm) below the first point as shown in figure 1.1. For reference to mount, see figure 1.2. Drill three 5/32" (4 mm) dia. holes 2.5" (65 mm) deep. Note: The wall mount may need to be tilted for access to holes on mount as shown in figure 1.3. Loosely fasten wall mount (A) to wall using three #14 x 2-1/2" wood screws (E) as shown in figure 1.3. Level, hold, and tighten all screws. Skip to step 2 on page 7.

• Tighten screws so that wall plate is firmly attached, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the screws, greatly reducing their holding power. • Never tighten in excess of 80 in. • lb (9 N.M.). • Make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the studs. The use of an "edge to edge" stud finder is highly recommended.

Installation to Solid Concrete and Cinder Block
WARNING • When installing Peerless wall mounts on cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/8" of actual concrete thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid part of the block, generally 1" minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meet ASTM C-90 specifications. It is suggested that a standard electric drill on slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity. • Concrete must be 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold concrete anchor. • Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hardware and components.

Determine the placement of your screen, mark the center of screen on the wall, and place a point 2.25" (57 mm) down from center of screen for bottom hole of mount as shown in figure 1.4. For reference to mount, see figure 1.5. Note: The wall mount may need to be tilted for access to holes on mount as shown in figure 1.7. Drill one 1/4" (6 mm) dia. hole to a minimum depth of 2.5" (64 mm). Insert anchor (C) in hole flush with wall. Loosely screw wall mount (A) to wall using one #14 x 2-1/2" wood screw (E) as shown in figures 1.6 and 1.7. Level, then mark the top two holes circled in figure 1.5. Continued on following page. WARNING
C CUTAWAY VIEW
• Concrete anchors are not intended for attachment to concrete wall covered with a layer of plaster, drywall, or other finishing material as shown right. If mounting to concrete wall covered with plaster/drywall is unavoidable, plaster/drywall (up to 5/8" thick) must be counterbored as shown right. Be sure concrete anchors do not pull away from concrete when tightening screws. If plaster/drywall is thicker than 5/8", custom fasteners must be supplied by installer.

Installation to Solid Concrete and Cinder Block (Continued) 1-1 Swing wall mount (A) out of the way and drill top two marked holes. Insert two anchors (C) in holes flush with wall as
shown in figure 1.8. Return mount to original position and loosely fasten wall mount (A) to wall using two #14 x 2-1/2" wood screws (E) as shown in figure 1.9. Level, hold, and tighten all screws.
CAUTION • If wall mount is not level, it will be crooked when mounted. • When swinging wall mount out of the way, be careful not to scratch the wall.
WARNING • Tighten screws so that wall plate is firmly attached, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the screws, greatly reducing their holding power. • Never tighten in excess of 80 in. • lb (9 N.M.).

Installing Adapter Brackets
WARNING • If screws don't get three complete turns in the screen inserts or if screws bottom out and adapter plate is still not tightly secured, damage may occur to screen or product may fail. Contact customer care for correct hardware to use.
2
To prevent scratching the screen, set a cloth on a flat, level surface that will support the weight of the screen. Place screen face side down. Place and align adapter brackets (B) on back of screen to VESA hole pattern as shown in figure 2.1. For additional screen compatibility please refer to the LCD interface list on our website: www.peerlessindustries.com. Note: If mounting holes are not centered on back of screen, center brackets on back of screen as shown in figure 2.2. Find the VESA® hole pattern below, and attach brackets to screen accordingly. Verify that all holes are properly aligned, and then tighten screws using security allen wrench (D). FOR VESA 75 MOUNTING PATTERN: Attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M4 x 10 mm screws (I) and four upper washers (L) as shown in figure 2.3. *Note: If hole pattern is in a pocket, attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M4 x 25 mm screws (J), eight upper and lower washers (L), and four retaining spacers (K) as indicated below. 200 FOR VESA 100 MOUNTING PATTERN: Attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M4 x 10 mm screws (I) and four upper washers (L) as shown in figure 2.3. FOR VESA 200 MOUNTING PATTERN: Attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M4 x 10 mm screws (I) and four upper washers (L) as shown in figure 2.3. *Note: If screw (I) gets less than three threads of engagement, attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M4 x 25 mm screws (J), eight upper and lower washers (L), and four retaining spacers (K) as indicated below.
75
FOR VESA 200 x 200 MOUNTING PATTERN: Attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M6 x 12 mm screws (F) as shown in figure 2.3. *Note: If screw (F) gets less than three threads of engagement, attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M6 x 20 mm screws (G) as indicated below. If screw (G) gets less than three threads of engagement, attach adapter brackets (B) to back of screen using four M6 x 30 mm screws (H) as indicated below.

Mounting and Removing Flat Panel Screen 3
Hook adapter brackets (B) onto wall mount (A). Then slowly swing screen in as shown in figure 3. Lock adapter brackets with security screws, shown in detail 1, using wrench (D). To remove screen from mount, loosen security screws, swing screen away from mount, and lift screen off of mount.
WARNING • Do not lift more weight than you can handle. Use additional man power or mechanical lifting equipment to safely handle placement of the screen. • Failure to lock brackets with security screws can cause screen to come off mount if hit accidentally.
SCREEN
CAUTION • Do not tighten screws with excessive force. Overtightening can cause damage to mount. Tighten screws to 20 in. • lb (2.26 N.M.) maximum torque.
