NOTE! Some units are available with Centre, left or right-hand

Read the instructions carefully before beginning the installation.

Consult local building codes to make sure the installation complies with local standards.

Remove the unit from its packaging. Before disposing of it, inspect the unit to make sure it is in good shape. Should inspection reveal any damage or

Important Information Observe all local building and plumbing codes. Do not use screws or other fasteners to secure receptor in the stud pocket. Follow installation instructions. Install on an adequately supported subfloor. Do not support by the rim or damage may occur. This product must be used with a shower door. Failure to use this product without a shower door may result in property damage, and personal injury. Follow all plumbing codes applicable to the installation of this product.
1 Construct a plumb stud pocket according to the roughing-in information.
The stud pocket opening tolerance is + 1/4” (6 mm), - 0” (0 mm). When fire rated construction is specified, dimensions are made to the inside of the rated wall.

Install the rough plumbing.

3 Dry-fit the receptor in the stud pocket and determime if it is level and plumb to the floor. If it is not level and plumb the receptor should be installed using the mortar-bed option outlined in steps 5 and 6. Install the drain to the receptor.

Position 2” (5.1 cm) to 2-1/2” (6.4 cm) mounds of floor-leveling compound at the receptor feet.

5 Immediately position a piece of polythene sheet on the subfloor.
6 Position the receptor in the stud pocket. Press and level the receptor into position. Make sure floor-leveling compound does not contact the threads of the drain, and make sure that the receptor is level before proceeding.

7 Connect the receptor drain to the drain pipe. Position a protective liner in the receptor basin.
8 If necessary, secure the receptor in place using shims as needed to take up any space between the receptor and stud pocket.

9 Make the framing flush with the flanges by installing furring strips to the studs.

10 Install water-resistant wallboard over the framing and the receptor flanges.

11 Install the finished wall material leaving a 1/8” (3 mm) gap along the receptor rim. Follow all instructions before using shower.

12 Apply 100% silicone sealant around the receptor where it contacts the finished wall.
13 Install the faucet trim and accessories.
Apply sealant.
14 Install the finished floor material. Apply 100% silicone sealant along the floor seam.

Shower Base Care and Cleaning exceed demanding strength and stress factors required for use. It is stain Regular cleaning: Wash with warm water,a soft cloth, and mild liquid detergent. For stubborn stains: Use a Non-Abrasive, liquid detergent cleaner, applied using a soft cloth. More persistent stains, tar,or paint can be removed with naptha or mineral spirits. Remove excess plaster by scraping with a sharpened soft wood stick. Avoid wire brushes, metal scrapers, or tools. NEVER USE ABRASIVE SCOURING POWDERS, SOLVENT BASED CLEANSERS, OR SCOURING PADS AS THEY TEND TO DULL THE FINISH. Dry cleaning agents and solvents will damage the surface. Burning cigarettes should not be allowed to come into contact with the surface or discoloration may ensue.
