Installation Procedure 1. Disconnect / unplug unit from wall outlet.

2. Remove curved cover from upper part of bin.

4. Unplug circulation pump wiring harness. 5. Remove circulation hose mounting clamp and pump mounting screws.

6. Remove water trough screws, and pull trough from unit.

7. Install new water trough (10) using the screws removed in step 6.

Your Clear Ice Machine Refresh Kit contains parts to completely refresh the interior components of your ice machine and regain its like-new appearance. U-line recommends having your local U-Line authorized service company install these components. To find a service center near you, please visit http://www.u-lineservice.com or call 1(800) 779-2547. Upon completion of the installation, a cleaning cycle must be completed. Included in Kit:
8. Attach drain tube (8) to water trough using a nylon hose clamp (1).

9. Insert stand pipe (7) into water trough. 10. Replace tubing (3) on circulation pump. 11. Install circulation pump in unit using mounting screws removed in step 5.

15. Disconnect the unit from power.

16. Remove the stand pipe and allow the water trough to drain.

17. Reinstall the stand pipe.

12. Secure the pre-formed tube (3) to the unit using the nylon cable clamp (9), screw (4) and well nut (2). 13. Power unit on and observe the first 5 minutes of operation. Adjust tubing as necessary.
14. Install pump cover (5) using screws removed in step 3.
18. Proceed to Initiate Cleaning Cycle.

4 Initiate Cleaning Cycle To initiate a cleaning cycle, follow the steps below. 1. Clean interior liner surfaces. • Dilute 1 packet of cleaner into 2 quarts of water. • Use a soft sponge to thoroughly wipe down interior of cabinet. 2. Power unit on. 3. Initiate cleaning cycle. Once the cleaning cycle starts, the cycle cannot be stopped until complete. a. 2000 Series: While holding the power icon, quickly press the light icon 3 times. b. 3000 Series: Up Select
RETURN TO MENU CLEAN CYCLE CLEAN?

To initiate the clean cycle, enter the Clean Cycle in the Customer Menu. 1. Use Down
to select “Clean Cycle”.
2. Press Select
. The clean cycle will now begin.
4. When water begins to flow over the evaporator (approximately 3 minutes), pour 1 packet of cleaner into the water trough. The cleaning process will last approximately 45 minutes. 5. Following the cleaning process, sanitize the ice bin with dilute bleach solution (1 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water). 6. Rinse interior with warm water. 7. Ice production will resume upon completion of the cleaning cycle.
Finalizing 1. Reinstall the curved cover. 2. Replace the ice scoop with the new ice scoop (6) supplied in your kit.
