FutureLinkTM VDSL2 Splitters Installation Instructions 649NV-48 100643-00 Rev. A 649NV-48: VDSL2 NID Splitter VDSL2 NID SPLITTER Installation: 1. With the Telco access cover open snap the module into the NID sliding the right side under the latch and rocking the left side into the latched position. 2. Open the cover to disconnect the network input and access the distribution connectors. 3. Route the network leads to the Telco access compartment and terminate as suggested by the NID manufacturer. 4. Terminate voice runs to the distribution connectors as described below. 5. Terminate the data run to the distribution connector as described below. 6. Close the cover to complete the circuit from the network input to the distribution connectors. Distribution Disconnect Plug Distribution Connectors Test Jack Network Leads Distribution Connectors: A. Lift the toggle to the open position B. Insert unstripped wires into the corresponding wire holes C. While holding the wires firmly in place push down on the toggle, until it bottoms, terminating the wires. Voice 1 Voice 2 Data Voice 3 Testing: 1. Open the cover to disconnect the network input. 2. Plug tester into the test jack. A.
