Begin by installing the driver side front bracket. Locate and remove plastic plugs or factory hex bolts (if equipped) from the threaded inserts in the underside of the body at the front of the cab. Picture #1 Step-2 Attach one of the front brackets to the underside of the body using (2) 8mm x 25mm hex bolts, (2) 5/16” lock washers and (2) 5/16” flat washers. Leave the bolts loose for final adjustment. Picture #2 Picture #2 Driver Side Front Picture #1 Driver Side Front 8mm Threaded Inserts Step-3 Locate and remove plastic plugs or factory hex bolts (if equipped) from the threaded inserts in the underside of the body at the middle and rear of the cab. Picture #3 Step-4 Attach the middle and rear brackets to the underside of the body using (2) 8mm x 25mm hex bolts, (2) 5/16” lock washers and (2) 5/16” flat washers. Leave the bolts loose for final adjustment. Picture #4 Picture #3 Driver Side Rear Picture #4 Driver Side Rear 8mm Threaded Inserts 2 Step-5 Attach the driver side step to each of the brackets using (2) 5/16” x 1” square head bolts, (2) 5/16” flat washers and (2) 5/16” lock washers as shown. Illustration #5 & #6 Step-6 Align the side step with the vehicle and tighten all side step and mounting bracket nuts and bolts. retighten all nuts and bolts periodically.
