Hardware Connection:
Channel Selection:
1. Connect a 12V AC power pack to the power input J
1. Push the UP or DOWN button C to set the desired channel. After 15 seconds the channel will be automatically stored in the Modulator's memory. In the instance of a power outage, the channel will be saved in memory.
2. Connect the RCA cable from the video source (e.g. CABLE/ PAY TV, DVD, VCR, CAMERA) to the top yellow RCA video input jack D on the rear of the VTM1 Modulator. 3. Connect the RCA cable from the audio source to the top red/ white input audio jacks D on the rear of the VTM-1 Modulator. Use red and white jacks for dual input, or either one for single input. 4. Connect the RF output G from the VTM-1 to the Modulator input on the Video Distribution Unit (see Video Distribution Unit operating instructions). Alternatively, connect the RF output G to an exiting distribution system or directly to a television set.
5. Move the Remote Power switch H on the rear of the VTM-1IR to "ON" if you would like the Modulator to power a Video Distribution Unit. 6. Connect IR emitters to the outputs I on the rear of the VTM-1IR Modulator. Place the other end within 25cm of the IR receiver on the Video source (depending on environmental conditions).
