Dodge Charger with OS Belt Installation Instructions NOTE: IF INSTALLING A FLOOR PAN DO SO BEFORE INSTALLING SEAT. CAUTION: LOCATE ALL WIRING, FUEL LINES, BRAKE LINES, AND/OR COOLING LINES BEFORE DRILLING HOLES OR INSTALLING FASTENERS. 1. Remove Factory Seat a. Remove bottom of seat by lifting up sharply on the front and sliding it out. b. Remove (2) Flange Nuts securing seat belt buckles to the frame, and set aside for later use. [Pic 1]

c. Remove (5) Flange Nuts and (2) Hex Head Cap Screws that secure the factory seat to the frame. Hex Head Cap Screws are located underneath the side padding. Set nuts and bolts aside for later use. [Pic 2]

d. Remove back of seat and side seat padding by lifting off of bolts, lift sharply up, then slide out. [Pic 3] e. Remove the (2) Clip Nut from the vehicle to allow theP TS Seat to sit correctly later. [Pic 3]

4. Install Rear Deck Kit (DC72) a. From the trunk, use a 9/16” Drill bit to drill out the center hole of the top deck from the rear of the vehicle. [Pic 7]

b. Install the Rear Deck Reinforcement Plate (DC83) from the trunk up through the hole previously drilled out using the (1) ½ Standard Washer (P102) and (1) ½-13 Jam Nut (P151) to secure it in place. Set the (1) ¾” Steel Spacer (P109) and (1) ½-13 Serrated Flange Locknut on the bolt but do not tighten. (The connector plates from the retractors mount here.) [Pic 8]

5. Install Dodge Charger Seat (DC51) in vehicle with Seat Mount Kit (DC77) a. Slide seat into vehicle. b. Feed Hip-Side Tongues through the outboard cutouts in the seat. c. Push the bottom of the seat so that it mates against the contour of the floor. While holding seat securely in place use provided holes in the seat as a guide to drill pilot holes. Repeat for top of seat. d. Use the (6) #14 x 1.5 Hex Head Self-drilling Sheet Metal Screws (P055) in provided holes to secure seat to vehicle; three on bottom, three on top. [Pic 9] Page 5 of 7

NOTE: WE STRONGLY RECCOMEND USING A CENTER PUNCH THRU THE HOLES IN THE PLASTIC SEAT TO SPOT THE LOCATION IN THE SHEET METAL PRIOR TO DRILLING FOR SCREW HOLES.

6. Finish installing seatbelt system (DC71 & DC72 cont’d) a. From the trunk, feed the Retractor webbing through the center cutouts in the seat. Do not cross the Retractors underneath the seat prior to feeding through the cutouts. b. Install the two connector plates of the retractor webbing onto the Rear Deck (1) ¾ Steel Spacer (P109) and (1) ½-13 Serrated Flange Locknut (P155). (Refer back to Pic 8) 7. Install Outside Belt Cover Kit (P300) a. Place (1) Toothed C-Retainer (P004) on webbing of outboard seatbelt and outboard slot so that it pinches webbing and closes gap around webbing. Secure with (4) #6 x 0.625 Sheet Metal Screws (P057). [Pic 10] b. Repeat for other side.

8. Install Center Belt Cover Kit (P301) a. Install (2) Belt Slot Cover (P005) around Retractor webbing using the built-in cutout in the Belt Slot Cover. Cutout should face away from prisoners (towards center) to avoid pinching the webbing. [Pic 11] b. Using (14) #6 x 0.625 Sheet Metal Screw, Black (P057), install Belt Slot Covers to the seat. c. Slide (2) Seat Belt Sliding Buckle (P002) onto Retractor webbing. Check buckle to ensure button is facing the desired direction. Page 6 of 7

9. Install the Storage Tongue Kit (P302) a. Using (4) #10 x 0.75 Square Drive Self-Drilling Screw (P051) and (2) Storage Tongues (P003), secure the Storage Tongues to the vehicle Center Partition. Be sure to install the Storage Tongues low enough in the vehicle to avoid head injury during prisoner entry and exit. [Pic 12]
