Some function on the remote control may not be compatible with older models of Bluetooth device. Setup Instructions Components Speaker Soundpipe Bluetooth Speaker System 1. Press the “Pick-up” switch on top of the speaker for more than 3 seconds or press and hold the “Pick-up” button on the Auxiliary line-in Volume + Left speaker DC input Power switch Drop-call Microphone remote control to enter pairing mode. 2. The LEDs will begin flashing slowly, signaling that the Bluetooth speaker (Device ID: SB-1) is ready to be discovered by your Bluetooth enabled device. 3. The password for pairing is “0000”. Right speaker 4. Refer to your device manual to enable Bluetooth, discover new device and set as wireless stereo. 5. When pairing is successful the LEDs will blink quickly and stop. 6. Pairing only needs to be performed once, the speaker will remember up to 8 devices. Battery cover latch 7. Make sure the Bluetooth device remains within 20 ft of the Soundpipe speaker. 8. The Bluetooth speaker will auto reconnect with the Bluetooth device when it is within range. Acoustic Venting Opening Battery cover Using the Soundpipe as a handsfree speakerphone. 1. Power up the Soundpipe and pair it with a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone. Slide the battery cover latch to release the battery cover, insert 4 AAA batteries (not included). 2. To answer an in-coming call, press the “Pick-up” push button switch on the speaker or on the remote control. Remove batteries when not using speaker for a long period of time. 3. To reject or hang-up a call, press the “Drop-call” push button switch on the speaker or on the remote control. Connecting speaker Trouble Shooting No Power 1) Slide the Power switch to the “ON” position. 2) LEDs will light indicating the speaker is powered. 3) Check that the AC Adapter is connected correctly. 4) If using batteries, check the direction of the batteries installation and the condition of the battery.
