For brand new batteries, 2 to 3 times of charging and usage cycles are required to optimize the batteries' performance. If batteries are stored for more than one week, always recharge them before use. 2. It is normal for batteries to become hot during charging and they will gradually cool down to room temperature after fully charged. 3. Charging time may vary based on different battery capacities. (Refer to the Charging Time Table) 4. Remove batteries from the electrical device if the device is not going to be used for a long time. 5. Battery storage temperature: -20°C to 35°C. Charger operation temperature: 5°C to 45°C. 6. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a special cord or assembly available from the manufacturer or its service agent to avoid a hazard. Caution 1-2 pcs 1. Charge GP Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries only. 2. Do not charge other types of batteries such as alkaline, rechargeable alkaline, non-rechargeable or any other kind of batteries not specified as they may leak or burst, causing personal injury and damage. 3. Never use an extension cord or any attachment not recommended by GP, otherwise may lead to a risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury. 4. Unplug the charger from the outlet before attempting cleaning or when not in use. 5. Do not short circuit batteries. 6. Do not wet, incinerate or disassemble the charger and batteries. 7. Indoor and dry location use only. Do not expose the charger to rain, snow or extreme conditions. 8. Use damp cloth and do not immerse into water when cleaning the charger. 9. The fuse can only be replaced by manufacturer or its qualified service agent. LED Indications LED Signal For the best performance and safety, charge only GP NiMH with GP PowerBank Travel. Insert GP NiMH batteries into the charging slots correctly according to the polarity indications (+/-). (Fig.1) 3. Connect the provided AC power cord with the charger and plug it into the power source (Fig.2) OR connect the provided DC car adaptor cord with the charger and plug it into the cigarette lighter jack. (Fig.3) 4. The LED indicator will light up in red when charging is in progress. It will turn to green when the batteries are fully charged. Trickle charging will start after all batteries are fully charged. 5. The red LED indicator will flash and the charger will stop charging if alkaline, rechargeable alkaline or damaged batteries are mistakenly inserted into the charging slots. 6. Once charging is complete, unplug the charger from the power source and remove the batteries. 06040I4194
