I-46B Operation Instructions for the Disto Plus Laser Measuring Devise (DT19) WARNING: Do not point laser directly into eyes. Avoid looking at laser that is reflecting off mirrored surfaces. See Disto User Manual for additional safety warnings and information. Typical error of this device is ±1/16”. NOTE: These instructions are customized by Rowley Co for the window treatment industry. The Disto User Manual is more complete for the general user. •To turn this laser measuring devise on or off: Push this button •Push this button • to change the measuring reference point. This is an advanced feature that is very handy for measuring windows that are too high to reach with a standard tape measure. See the third example (shown on page 11). The error range is larger than a direct measurement so this feature should only be used to make estimations and not critical measurements that will dictate the exact size of a given window treatment. Accuracy can be improved somewhat by attaching the Laser Measuring Tool to an inexpensive tripod and setting the reference to the same location that is used for inside measurements. Updated on 2/28/08
