MODEL VllOOAWM, LIGHT-DUTY, INDOOR WALL MOUNT GENERAL SCOPE
The information in this instruction manual covers the installation of Model Vl IOOAWM Wall Mount. INTRODUCTION
The VllOOAWM Wall Mount is a light-duty mount intended for use indoors. It is constructed of light gray high-impact plastic and is designed to support camera/housing combinations weighing up to 7.5 pounds (3.4 kg). The adjustable head features individual locking knobs for horizontal and vertical movement and can be set for any normal camera angle. The VllOOAWM may be mounted to a standard outlet box, which allows convenient concealed cable routing to the mount. The body of the mount is hollow, allowing the wiring to be concealed as it is run from the wall to the camera.
INSTALLATION
VllOOAWM WALL MOUNT
diameter hole centered on a wall stud or other solid structure. 2. Attach the base to the wall using two number 10 fasteners. If the mount is to be attached to a standard electrical box, first make sure that the outlet box itself is squarely and securely mounted, then use number 6-32 screws and the outboard mounting holes (on 3.250 centers) to mount to the box.
The VllOOAWM Wall Mount should be secured to studs or beams rather than directly to plaster or gypsum wallboard. The mount can also be attached to a standard duplex outlet box with holes provided. If the mount is to be attached to a masonry structure, use screws with expandable plugs or other appropriate hardware with a pullout strength of not less than 150 pounds each. Use steel fasteners in all installations. (Never use screws in the end grain of wood.)
3. Run the wiring through the base, allowing enough slack to reach the camera or housing, then terminate the ends with connectors as required.
See Figure 1 as a guide for the installation of the VllOOAWM Wall Mount.
6. Install bottom cover by hooking the curved end into the base and attaching it with the number 6 screw provided.
4. Hook the wall mount onto the base and attach with the single number 8 self-tapping screw provided. 5. Feed the wires through the 7/&inch diameter hole in the mount.
1. If the wiring is to be concealed and run through the base, drill a 3/4-inch to l-inch Vicon
