Instructions for reprocessing of TEE probes The disinfection step with the mikrozid® PAA wipes. Step 1 Step 5 Pre-cleaning Clean the outside of the probe with a lint-free disposable cloth. If necessary, saturate the cloth in with a cleaning solution or cleaning disinfectant solution. Disinfection Wipe the probe with a sporicidal disinfectant cloth. The specified concentration and contact time must be complied with exactly! schülke recommends: gigazyme®, gigazyme® x•tra, mikrozid® sensitive wipes schülke recommends: mikrozid® PAA wipes* Step 2 Step 6 Cleaning Reprocess the probe in a in a bath with an enzymatic or disinfecting cleaning agent. Alternatively, you can also use a disposable wipe saturated with disinfectant solution. Rinsing Thoroughly rinse the probe with a water quality suitable for reprocessing of the following applications, e.g. drinking water, microbial filtered, sterile. Do not use the water multiple times. schülke recommends: gigazyme®, gigazyme® x•tra, mikrozid® sensitive wipes schülke recommends: schülke filtration Step 3 Step 7 Rinsing Carefully rinse the probe under running water to remove any organic or chemical residues. Final drying Dry the probe with a dry, soft cloth.
