METEOR VIBRATING WATCH TIM-153-140-3000 Accessories: • Watches are delivered in an elegant black box. • This box provides protection when the watch is not used. • The pocket watches are delivered with an additional screw and ring. How • • • • • to affix the screw and ring: Use a very small cross (Phillips) screwdriver. Remove the original screw from the back of the Meteor. Keep the original screw in the small plastic pouch for further use. Replace the original screw with the new screw and ring. Turn the new screw and ring by hand to fasten it. Time Indication: • Hold the unit in the palm of your hand buttons facing up with the key ring hole towards your fingertips. • The button orientation is as follows: o The ‘Hour’ button is located closest to your fingertips o The ‘Tens of Minutes’ button is located in the middle o The ‘Minutes’ button is located at the bottom, furthest from your fingertips. • A brief press on the ‘Hour’ button indicates the “Hours”. • A brief press on the ‘Tens of Minutes’ button indicates the “Tens of Minutes”. • A brief press on the ‘Minute’ button indicates the “Minutes”. • A short vibration indicates 1 unit and a long vibration indicates 5 units. Example: for 11:30 1. Press the ‘Hour’ button and you will feel 2 long vibrations followed by a short one (11 hours). 2. Press the ‘Tens of Minutes’ button and you will feel 3 short vibrations (30 minutes). 3. Press the ‘Minutes’ and you will feel no vibration, the Minute units being 0. • • The order of pressing the buttons is not important: You can press the button for the 'Tens of Minutes’ and then the button for the ‘Minutes’. With each press of a button, the time indication remains the same for 30 seconds. Time Setting: • • • • • • A prolonged press of the ‘Hour’ button allows you to set the “Hours”. A prolonged press on the ‘Tens of Minutes’ button allows you to set the “Tens of Minutes”. A prolonged press on the ‘Minutes’ button allows you to set the “Minutes”. Once you feel a long vibration, this indicates you are in setting mode. Each of the short vibrations that follow counts for 1 unit and adjusts the watch until the button is released. Each adjustment is made by a unique prolonged press only. Example: to set the time to 9:00 1. Press the ‘Hour’ button until you feel the long vibration followed by short vibrations. 2. When you reach the 9th short vibration, release the button. 3. To set the ‘Tens of Minutes’ to 0, press the ‘Tens of Minutes’ button until you feel the end of the long vibration, then release the button. • • The order of setting the time is not important. Changing the time zone is easily done by adjusting the hours only. Remove the screw from the back of the Meteor. 2. Open the Meteor by spreading the back from the front of the screw location. 3. Slide the two batteries out. 4. Replace the batteries matching the polarity (Energizer 357 or equivalent is recommended). 5. Close the Meteor. 6. Tighten the screw. Warranty: • Watches are guaranteed for 2 years. The warranty covers all manufacturing defects. It does not cover the normal wear and tear of the materials of which they are constituted, nor damages due to abnormal use, nor the batteries. • The life span of your batteries depends on the use of your watch (2 to 5 years). • Use only Energizer 357 batteries (or equivalent). It is recommended that batteries be changed by a specialized watchmaker. • The pocket watches are waterproof and float in water. • They can be cleaned with a wet tissue without cleaning agents.
