Instructions on how to connect your mobile phone via Bluetooth® using the pairing feature of the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. (All examples shown are using the COMAND system) For a connection between your mobile phone and your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system to be successful Bluetooth® must be turned on in your mobile phone. Please make sure to also read the operating and pairing instructions of the mobile phone. Please follow the steps below to connect your mobile phone LG Revolution VS910 with the mobile phone application of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system using Bluetooth®. Step 1 To get to the telephone screen of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system press the “TEL” key on the radio or select phone. Step 2 Select the "Phone" application located in the lower left corner. Step 3 Select the "Connect Phones" application. Page 1 of 4 Step 4 Select the option icon. Step 5 Select "External Authorization". Step 6 The display of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system will show "Ready for External Authorization." Now the system is ready for a new Bluetooth connection. Step 7 to be preformed on your LG Revolution VS910 From the main screen of your mobile phone, 1. Push the "Menu" button and select "Settings" 2. Select the option "Wireless & networks" 3. Select the option "Bluetooth settings" 4. Select the option "Bluetooth", to turn on Bluetooth®. 5. Select “Scan for devices” 6. Select “MB Bluetooth” Page 2 of 4 Step 8 Confirm the authorization the LG Revolution VS910 by selecting "Yes". The name of your mobile phone will be displayed where "My Phone" is shown. Step 9 The pairing process will generate a 6-digit passcode and display it on the screen. Verify that the came 6 digits are shown on the display of your mobile. Step 10 (to be performed on your LG Revolution VS910) Select "Pair" if the passcode is the same on the phone as on the car. If there are any additional pop-ups on your LG Revolution VS910 select Ok or Accept to enable these features. Step 11 Wait for authorization to finish. Page 3 of 4 Step 12 If the authorization was successful a PopUp appears on your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Step 13 After your mobile phone is successfully connected via Bluetooth® to your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system the name of your mobile (example "My Phone") phone will be displayed in the lower left corner above the “Phone” icon.
