Instructions on how to exchange a vCard using the Bluetooth® function of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. (All examples shown are using the COMAND system) Please follow the steps below to connect your mobile phone RIM BlackBerry Z10 with the phone application of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. For a successful vCard exchange between your mobile phone and your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system Bluetooth® must be turned on in your mobile phone and the mobile phone must be connected to your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system via Bluetooth®. Please make sure you also read the operating and pairing instructions of the mobile phone. Step 1 To get to the telephone screen of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system press the “TEL” key on the radio or select "Phone." Step 2 Select the "Tel." application located in the lower left corner. Step 3 Select the telephone application, "Download Contacts." Page 1 of 3 Step 4 Select the telephone application, "Receive Contacts From Phone." Step 5 Select how you want the imported vCards to be integrated into your contacts: "Overwrite" or "Add" Step 6 Now vCards can be received from the mobile phone. Step 7 (to be performed on your RIM BlackBerry Z10) From the main screen of your RIM BlackBerry Z10, 1. Swipe to the left until you locate the "Contacts" application 2. Select the desired contact to share 3. Select the "Options" icon on the bottom right of the screen 4. Select "Share Contact" 5. Select "Bluetooth" 6. Select "MB Bluetooth" 7. "Successfully transferred" will be shown Page 2 of 3 Step 8 The total number of received business cards will be shown on the display of the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Additional vCards can also be sent to the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Step 9 By selecting the “Back” function the display of the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system will switch back to the main telephone screen. Page 3 of 3
