Instructions on how to exchange a vCard using the Bluetooth® function of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Please follow the steps below to connect your mobile phone Huawei Ascend P8 with the phone application of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. For a successful vCard exchange between your mobile phone and your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system Bluetooth® must be turned on in your mobile phone and the mobile phone must be connected to your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system via Bluetooth®. Please make sure you also read the operating and pairing instructions of the mobile phone. Step 1 To get to the telephone screen of your Mercedes-Benz hands-free system press the “TEL” key on the center console or select "Phone." Step 2 Select the "Options" application located in the lower left corner. Step 3 Select the telephone application, "Download Contacts." Step 4 Select the telephone application, "Download from Bluetooth Device." Page 1 of 2 Step 5 Now vCards can be received from the mobile phone. Step 6 (to be performed on your Huawei Ascend P8) From the home screen of your Huawei Ascend P8: 1. Select the “Phonebook” App 2. Select "Menu" 3. Select the option “Import/Export” 4. Select the contacts which want to share 5. Select the option “Share” 6. Select the icon "Bluetooth" 7. Select "MB Bluetooth" (If there are any additional pop-ups on your Huawei Ascend P8 select "Pair" to continue transfer) 8. Wait for transfer to finish Step 7 The total number of received contacts (vCards) will be shown on the display of the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Additional vCards can also be sent to the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system. Step 8 By selecting the “Back” function the display of the Mercedes-Benz hands-free system will switch back to the main telephone screen. Page 2 of 2
