Each player rolls both dice. The person with the highest number from the combined dice will play first (Player 1). Play will continue to the left.
8.
You (Player 1) should roll both dice again.
9.
Move the game piece the number of squares indicated by the number rolled in step 8.
10.
Follow the directions on the square you land upon. (See steps 17-25 and figure 5).
11.
You (Player 2) should now roll both dice.
12.
Move the game piece the number of squares indicated by the number that you roll.
13.
Follow the instructions on the square you land upon. (See steps 17-25 and figure 5).
14.
After the first round is complete, you (Player 1) should roll both dice again.
15.
You will play 10 rounds (1 round = each player rolls dice once).
16.
In order to win the game, you must have 60 cows and $10,000.
17.
If you land on a Cattle Auction square you may buy cows.
Each cow costs $500 to buy. You may purchase cows only when you land on a Cattle Auction square or draw a Farm Expense card that is labeled “Cattle Auction” (See Figure 2).
Figure 2: Cattle Auction Farm Expense Card
2
If you draw this Farm Expense card you may buy cows for $500 each.
If you land on the square labeled Livestock Sale, you may buy 3 cows for $500 (you only pay $500 for all three cows). (See Figure 3).
Figure 3: “Livestock Sale” Square
You may buy 3 cows for only $500. You may not purchase more than 3 cows at this price.
18.
If you land on a Farm Expense or Farm Income square, you must draw a Farm Expense or Farm Income card and follow the instructions.
All money that is gained from Farm Income cards comes from the bank. All money that is lost from Farm Expense cards must be given to the bank. (You should not pay each other unless a square says to do so). (See Figure 4).
Figure 4: Cows Get Out Square
3
If you land on this square you must pay other players instead of the bank.
19.
If you land on a square labeled Taxes or Cows Get Out and are instructed to pay based on the number of cows owned, but you have no cows, you are not required to pay.
20.
If you land on or pass a square that instructs you to collect money based on the number of cows owned (Milk Check), but you have no cows, you do not collect any money.
21.
If you land on a square connected to a bridge, you must cross over the bridge. (Only when moving further along the board—players should not move backwards along the board)
22.
If you land on the Lose a Turn square, other players will play two rounds before you may play again. (Example: Player 1 lands on Lose a Turn, Player 2 rolls the dice twice and moves the game piece twice before Player 1 may play again).
23.
If at any time you are required to pay a bill but do not have enough money to pay the bill, you must sell cows for $300 each until you pay off the debt.
24.
If debt is related to the number of cows owned, you must still pay the original debt even if you sell cows.
(EXAMPLE: Pay Taxes square - $100 per cow. You have 30 cows and pay $3000. You sell two cows to pay the debt, but still owe $3000 because of the original number of cows owned.)
25.
If you are not able to pay a debt, even after selling off all of your cows, you are out of the game.
