Biagio is an independent jeweller established in Oxfordshire for over 20 years.
The Challenge In order to keep moving forward and progressing the business, Biagio Patalano decided to embark on the challenge of opening a brand new shop in Bicester. The new store was to be triple the space of the previous shop and would become the brands flagship store. Collaboration Technology
Having seen video walls being used in other retail environments the owner knew it was something that could provide the necessary wow factor to the new shop build. The video was used to engage customers as they entered the store showing videos and dynamic content.
The Solution After an initial discussion to establish a brief, our team were able to offer a number of design scenarios for consideration. As a result of the team providing technical drawings of various screen arrangements, Biagio were able start visualising what a video wall could look like. A Mitsubishi 2x2 video wall offered the best solution. Maintaining a 16:9 aspect ratio for the video wall provided the option to extend content to other single screen locations in the future without the need to consider producing or sourcing new content.

Collaboration Technology Defining Image Quality The ultimate purpose of a projection screen is to ensure that the quality of the projected image is reflected toward the audience while maintaining or even improving the projection in brightness or contrast.
HD Progressive Screen Surfaces
There are several factors which determine the perceived quality and which should be taken into account when selecting a particular projection screen and projection surface. They include (but are not limited to)

JLL is a financial and professional services firm specialising in real estate services and investment management.
The Challenge

JLL required a solution to deliver consistent high quality audio visual and digital signage in their new City Office. With spaces for high level meetings, client updates and JLL’s own City team it was important that the solutions were of the the highest quality, intuitive to use and easy to manage.
The Solution In the main boardroom a 2.4m wide Stewart Filmscreen Rear Projection system and discreet sound system was installed. The set up results in all the AV equipment being hidden or virtually invisible apart from the high impact main screen. Extron control systems for room automation have been used throughout the installation including the boardroom and for simple control of large format LCDs in the smaller meeting rooms. PADS digital signage has been deployed throughout the offices, including open plan space and breakout areas to present relevant business information to staff and visitors. Following the initial installation the PADS system has been expanded several times and is now a key part of JLL’s internal communication strategy.

The Challenge Our brief was to provide the newly refurbished offices with a unified look and feel using modern high impact audio visual solutions. AV solutions were required for several applications, and in a variety of rooms of different sizes and layouts.
The Solution The main reception area is home to a new 2x2 video wall using PADS digital signage to deliver the company’s message to visitors. PADS digital signage is also used to inform the employees of major milestones being achieved in their business and following the initial installation in Cobham is now used also across other Willmott Dixon locations in the UK. The meeting rooms use the latest wireless technology such as Barco ClickShare displayed on large format LCDs and Canon XEED projectors. Extron wall mounted control panels are used in to provide simple, reliable and familiar control across all rooms. The largest room has an impressive 135” Stewart Filmscreen Cima screen recessed in to the ceiling along with a high output Canon projector for the best image fidelity.

Room Booking Concierge Booking - Workplace & Facilities Booking Software for Microsoft Outlook CONCIERGE BOOKING is a facilities and meeting room booking software designed specifically for integration with Microsoft Outlook®. The software handles all aspects of booking meeting rooms, desks, parking spaces, resources, catering and other services for meetings and events. The associated visitor management system offers visitor badges, improved security and self sign in from service kiosks. Meeting room screens can display current and future meetings while digital signage in the reception area ensures that all visitors are welcomed professionally and guided in the right direction. Based at White City, BBC Worldwide is the main commercial arm and a wholly owned subsidiary of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
The Challenge BBC Worldwide required a meeting room management and room booking solution for their offices at White City. It was important that the system would integrate seamlessly into their existing Microsoft Exchange environment. It was also a requirement that the solution would involve a minimal learning curve for employees. The Solution
Room Booking
Evoko Room Manager touch screens have been installed on the wall outside each meeting room. The screens display the rooms availability at a glance, thanks to the green / red LED light. Meetings can be booked either directly at the touch screen or via Outlook. Concierge Booking software has also been installed on all user PCs. The Concierge Booking software uses the Microsoft Exchange and resources as its booking platform so it does not require any additional SQL database. Permitted users can book additional resources, catering and assign cost centres to rooms, all from within Outlook.
