The Challenge In order to keep moving forward and progressing the business, Biagio Patalano decided to embark on the challenge of opening a brand new shop in Bicester. The new store was to be triple the space of the previous shop and would become the brands flagship store. Collaboration Technology Having seen video walls being used in other retail environments the owner knew it was something that could provide the necessary wow factor to the new shop build. The video was used to engage customers as they entered the store showing videos and dynamic content. The Solution After an initial discussion to establish a brief, our team were able to offer a number of design scenarios for consideration. As a result of the team providing technical drawings of various screen arrangements, Biagio were able start visualising what a video wall could look like. A Mitsubishi 2x2 video wall offered the best solution. The Challenge Collaboration Technology JLL required a solution to deliver consistent high quality audio visual and digital signage in their new City Office. With spaces for high level meetings, client updates and JLL’s own City team it was important that the solutions were of the the highest quality, intuitive to use and easy to manage. The Solution In the main boardroom a 2.4m wide Stewart Filmscreen Rear Projection system and discreet sound system was installed. The set up results in all the AV equipment being hidden or virtually invisible apart from the high impact main screen. Extron control systems for room automation have been used throughout the installation including the boardroom and for simple control of large format LCDs in the smaller meeting rooms. PADS digital signage has been deployed throughout the offices, including open plan space and breakout areas to present relevant business information to staff and visitors. Collaboration Technology The Challenge Our brief was to provide the newly refurbished offices with a unified look and feel using modern high impact audio visual solutions. AV solutions were required for several applications, and in a variety of rooms of different sizes and layouts. The Solution The main reception area is home to a new 2x2 video wall using PADS digital signage to deliver the company’s message to visitors. PADS digital signage is also used to inform the employees of major milestones being achieved in their business and following the initial installation in Cobham is now used also across other Willmott Dixon locations in the UK. The meeting rooms use the latest wireless technology such as Barco ClickShare displayed on large format LCDs and Canon XEED projectors. Extron wall mounted control panels are used in to provide simple, reliable and familiar control across all rooms.
